Yeah, sorry. I've been thinking, mostly. Since Rush has quitted due to lack of interest, and there's an, in my opinion, far better version of my game, I've been considering closing this game or not on the past days.

I decided to ask you for your opinion.

A mission update it's all it took to make Sigma run behind Nightingale... before she used a grapple equipment to get to the upper floors more quickly and, effectively, leave Sigma alone to run up the stairs.

Few minutes later, Sigma arrives to the parking garage, only to see that the hostiles are, in fact, its previous allies. Still... Orders are orders. The hostiles are to be eliminated, unless said otherwise

@Genni You really want me to blast the hell out of the people, right?
As far as I know, yeah. Sigma's in the hall, being there... waiting for its new commands... Sigma's a robot, not much of a free will.
@Genni The thing I want is a debuff that impedes Sigma from attacking for a turn. Any kind of offensive action would be impossible to do not because of lack of ammo, but because of the weapon overheating. Running out of Ammo for Sigma would mean going back to an ammo depot and loading it up, as it works similar to direct ammo feed (like a bullet belt for a machine gun).

> Mission: Complete

A single line of code appears in Sigma's interface, and the robot's light turns into a bright green.

> Current Task: Examine for Anomalies

The automaton starts walking around, scanning the surroundings, looking for anything out of place before the head forensic force does a more exhaustive research of the event.

One of the criminals decided to throw a smoke bomb to try to disorientate the R.A.T.S team, but a man with a magical guitar played a power chord that was starting to blow the fog away. That was convenient. Given the current situation, the hostages where in less danger than before and, if anything happens, the one evacuating them would cover them anyway. So more lethal weapons where good to go now.

Sigma's weapon began to buzz as the mechanisms of it started to prepare another kind of projectile; the incendiary rounds. Overheating the metallic shells of Sigma's normal bullets caused them to burn and shatter on impact, generating storms of heated shrapnel. That would probably taake out many enemies at once.

We need more robots.

Apparently I also forgot about my +5 Energy talent. Yay.

> Current Task: Protect Hostages.

Sigma's light blinks once and it rushes towards the hostage, its back turned towards them. The automaton's current task was simple: Keep the hostages safe from any kind of damage. Thus it had to eliminate any potential threat. The biggest one where the shotguns: they could take out many hostages with a single firing. Then there where the automatic guns: enough rounds to quickly dispose of many hostages.

Those where the enemy-sided factors. Of course, there where always other things. Friendly fire was one, so Sigma had to reduce the probability of missing to the lowest amount possible. That meant to not use anything that could possibly harm the hostages, therefore not using any kind of weapon capable of exploding, for example.

Sigma was fully aware of something: The pyrokinetic ally could be a problem. Fire could be troublesome if uncontrolled.
It was also aware of some kind of empowering going on, but it didn't seem to affect the robot too much. Something music related. How could music affect combat performance?

The single, teal eye of the robot slowly starts to grow brighter as the automaton's AI performs the necessary check ups before joining the fight. Although the mechanisms where fairly new, the system was outdated and therefore a bit slow, which led to the late activation of the B.O.S.S. It stood up, looked around and slowly walked inside the bank, looking around and labeling the different beings it saw as allies or enemies according to the information it has been given.

When it entered the establishment and saw the scene, Sigma's Combat Module activated and it inmediately moved for cover while firing his gun at one of the shotgun wielding enemies, recognizing them as the biggest potential threat against the hostages due to the increased chance of collateral damage.
