Nicholas looks at the two men, feeling a little out of place at this point. But he's not going to change his mind now. He chose to stand and he's going to stick to his guns and stand. Though it probably doesn't help that he has little love for Gladios due to his upbringing.

Geez, apparently this site has a limit on how often I can post. Made my IC post, came over to OOC and had to wait three minutes. Then I went and posted my character and had to wait three more. @_@
Nicholas Keen
Nicholas was born shortly before the Abyssal Gladios reclaimed the land that was once his and renamed it The People's Conglomerate. It could be said that Nicholas was the last Liberatian, and his parents, patriotic Liberatians themselves, made sure he knew the legacy of the land on which he lived. While growing up, he was regaled with stories of the Heroes of Lasgoul. The stories that were focused on the most were the tales of Law Ehrhardt, whose many amazing deeds inspired Nicholas to begin practicing swordplay. By the age of twenty, Nicholas had become proficient with the sword, and decided to set out and follow the path of his hero. He spent the funds he had been saving for years to acquire a shield and proceeded to partake in mercenary work for the next ten years of his life. Aside from buying the necessities, he's mostly spent his funds to get more equipment.

Experience: About 18 years of practice in using swords. He's had his shield for ten years. Plus ten years of combat experience that comes with mercenary work.

Armor: Steel helmet, gauntlets, sabatons along with chainmail armor. Wooden round shield with steel rim. It has a cross of Roderick painted on.

The first to step forward is an almost middle-aged man wrapped in chainmail. On his back is a sheathed sword and a wooden round shield bearing the cross of Roderick. The man is very average, both in look and build, but he has an air of experience about him. As he stands before Gladios he removes his helmet, revealing short, dark hair; piercing blue eyes; and the makings of a 5 o'clock shadow.
"My name is Nicholas Keen. I was actually born here in..." he pauses, as if unwilling to call the nation by its name. "...The People's Conglomerate. Pleased to meet you."

Rather new to forums but not RP. But this RP seems pretty interesting. I don't suppose this is where I ask to join? Assuming it isn't too late.
