This out flowing of enthusiastic, dedicated applicants is making me tear up guys. I half expected this thing to get three players and then die.

But yeah, once again, great ideas. We'll begin as a newly formed Cadet Squad about to finish training. Let's say it's because we all want to be Scouts, that'll be the aim of the squad. Solace's character Elaina that's alreay in the Scout Regiment could be working as a mentor for the cadets, preparing them for the realities of the Regiment.

Cody's eyes widened as the door opened to reveal a striking young woman with a handgun leveled at his general direction. Cody glanced down at the pistol, back up at the woman and then smiled awkwardly.
"Uh, hi."
He replied, stepping inside with her.
"I'm Cody. You mind if I join you?"
He took a quick glance around the place and was impressed to say the least. It seemed too good to be true. Some fellow survivors, and not the half-feral, starving and dangerous kind either. Quite the opposite, they both seemed hospitable and in a good state. Not bad looking either. He actually felt comfortable and safe(ish) for once.

Biography: Gideon grew up the son of a nurse and a Scout Regiment soldier in a small hunting village amid Wall Maria's vast forests. A crack shot, he was a respected hunter by his teens as well as the man of the house, as his father was killed during one of many expeditions with the Scouts. Gideon's kinder personality coupled with his mother's tutelage led him to want to pursue a career in medicine, though this was a difficult path to start on without help. Because of this, he decided to enlist when he was of age, planning on joining the Garrison Regiment (or hopefully the MP) as a Medic. The breach of Wall Maria changed his plans however. Though he and his mother (as well as most of their village) managed to escape the slaughter, most of their number died in the famine that proceeded. His mother was among them. In the following ill-fated "reclamation" operation directed at Wall Maria, Gideon narrowly managed to avoid conscription due to his younger age. This likely saved his life, though his innocence was not spared. The trauma and loss he experienced hardened him, and he resolved to join the Scout Regiment instead of any of the safer, more defensive units. He would avenge his family and neighbors' deaths and one day, he would return to his village, unfettered by the lumbering monsters that roamed there. Though his compassionate personality remained, he had decided to become a killer first and a healer second. Now, he's a Cadet finishing up his last year of training and the fight he so desperately wants is close at hand...

In the year 845 two terrifying new breeds of Titan appeared, the Colossus and the Armored. Barreling through the outer walls as if wholesale destruction was child's play, the territory couched within the circle of Wall Maria was abandoned. Twenty percent of the human race perished. As the Titan onslaught advanced, our only choice was to withdraw behind Wall Rose...

This roleplay takes place in the year preceding and at roughly the same time as the Battle of Trost. We'll be following the story of another Squad of Cadets and their exploits from training, through the Battle of Chlorba and beyond. Your character doesn't have to begin as a Cadet, if you'd rather play an already trained and experienced character that's okay but be forewarned, MOST of the players will start as Cadets and a lot of the fun will be had there. You may control more than one character and if someone wants to, you can volunteer to control all the Titans (not as individual characters, but more as an NPC controller of sorts)
Some rules,

No blatantly diverging from canon
No spoilers (remember, some of us are newbs and are still on season 1 ;) )
No Titan shifters
Try to avoid overly dramatic or too modern dialogue, it should sound like a line from the show (roughly)
Be fairly realistic with things (your brand new recruit can't be an Olympic athlete that effortlessly outwits and escapes the Titans regularly)
It is absolutely forbidden for you NOT to share your ideas with the GM/Co-GMs, we want to hear them, this is a team effort!
No sexual content, controlling other characters, yadda yadda yadda

In my previous post I specifically said everyone who's characters CAN (because some may want to start out playing officers) will start as Cadets. Meaning, in training.

Everyone who is able to with their character will start out as Cadets
And the RP will continue after the battle of chlorba. I like the idea of some outside the walls missions and I fully plan on incorporating them into the roleplay. Also, sorry it's taking me so long to reply, I had a computer die and now I have one to share between me and the other five members of my family. So, yeah, logistics issues. Fortunately There's a replacement on the way so it shouldn't be too bad for long.
