So am I lol xD

Me three :3
Lol. Coincidences? Where were they for schooling?
So, I'm going to be pretty busy this weekend. Tomorrow I have to finish this paper for my Humanities midterm which my professor just added/changed the rules for today... Saturday my family is going out of town to eat and stuff because my stepbrother just graduated from navy schooling. Sunday I'll probably be free and I'll try to find time to post Friday and Saturday. :3

Also, like Tuj, I'm waiting on Ouro.
Kami flinched as some shrill bell rung in her ear. She followed the sound but whatever it had been seemed to have vanished. Kami was pretty sure she had heard something along the lines of sensei, but the words could have easily been anything. As Namine immersed herself back into the crowd, Kami returned her attention to Shira. They had been talking about... Kami shuffled from foot-to-foot to remind herself exactly where they had been on this conversation. "The human body..." She mumbled to herself. The human body, which if Shira studied thoroughly could definitely help Shira with her swordsmanship or, to be exact, her aim. Although Kami was sure Shira at least had a general idea of where everything was, Kami felt a more detailed view could easily allow Shira to have more control over her sword. Besides... it'd be pretty awesome if Kami could eventually convince Shira to try it out at the hospital. It wasn't really for Shira's training but because Kami was curious about what would happen.

A practical use. That was definitely useful, but not as useful as knowing the exact workings of each. "I want to teach you more detail than that. I think, that if you're interested, I could help you learn more about the human body. You don't need to be a medical ninja to find this useful." Kami paused, looking up at Shira as she tried to determine if the young woman appeared interested or not. This was serious. Kami would love to debate forever with everyone about everything, but Shira's training is something she was going to take seriously. "I could see you using this information to help with your aim. If you know more about the inner workings of the body, you can know beforehand just how much damage and to what each swing would do. That is if you're interested. It takes awhile to learn this all." And it wasn't something someone could learn one time and remember for life. Anatomy was something someone had to constantly study or a tiny detail could easily be forgotten.

Then, just as Kami was about to listen to Shira's answer, a blur of color rushed towards them. Kami wasn't startled or in the least bit worry. Crime doesn't happen in a candy shop. Even the mere idea of that is ridiculous. What kind of villain would want to risk destroying such deliciousness? Stealing candy from a baby was one thing but destroying a candy store was a whole different ball park. For this reason alone was the only reason Namine didn't get kicked in the face. "Oh yeah," Kami said in afterthought. "There was another one." She looked up at Shira, before pointing down at Namine. "You have a teammate. I forgot." She shrugged. This was Kami's first time teaching and, well, forgetting people and making mistakes probably came with the territory. Now as long as she didn't leave them in a freezer or something, she'd be golden.

Slowly, a smirk started to spread over Kami's face. Here, at her feet, was the cute little genin she had order. Namine might as well have been gift wrapped for all Kami cared. She was shiny cute genin; a trinket of the new generation. Something for Kami to mold and, most importantly, get free stuff with. "See?" Kami called over her shoulder to the candy shop owner. She gave her bag of roasted chestnuts a shake. "I do need these for important training the new generation stuff." This was going to be awesome. A young woman with a massive sword and a cute genin trying to learn medical ninjustu. This would definitely work in Kami's favor.
So, can I go ahead and post my character in the IC part of this thread? :3
Unfortunately, as soon as Ember watched the people in his squad, he realized they were arguing. Arguing wasn't good, but maybe they'd work it out themselves. Yeah, Ember was going to hope for that. So, hoping they'd work through their issues and maybe the argument would actually help, Ember just backed away. He'd find another place in the tower to hang out until Nathaniel made another announcement. He just really, really hoped they'd work it out before the mission. Their mission was to be stealthy and shoot down any bad guys trying to make a getaway. It was kinda impossible to be stealthy if two-out-of-three of them were bickering at each other. Ember slide down the wall, dug a book out of his bag, and started to read.

But, before Ember could really dissolve his mind back into the book, he was outside. On a roof actually. He folded the corner of his book, slipping it back into his pack before looking around at his surroundings. The whole team was here, but Amani really stuck out. She looked pretty unstable. Ember didn't really want to vocalize any weaknesses they might have with the team with who-know-who listening, but... "You okay?" Ember asked. He couldn't offer her anything like water, but at least he could make sure she wouldn't pass out as soon as she stood up.
Just saw this. You always make good rps, so I'll definitely join if you make this.
The weapon was ancient but, then again, that had been obvious. Not only were there physical signs predicting the sword's age, but the weight of it and the way Shira talked... Well, this sword was obviously special. It was a symbol as much as a weapon. And, as Kami looked at the sword when it was safely back in Shira's hands, she honestly could only think of it as a symbol of war. So, someone could sugarcoat it but.... Really, the Hataga were just a reminder that the very peace they had now was fleeting. Kami didn't think it as such a bad thing though. Ninja had to be ready at any moment for anything. To believe this peace would last would be completely idiotic. Something would end up rattling the peace; something always did.

"I would appreciate it if sometime I could read over those manuscripts." Kami loved to study. It was one of those things she had probably picked up from her mother. She couldn't really understand how something worked until she knew every last shred of information on it. Looking something over was never enough. And, if Kami got her hands on those manuscripts, no one would probably hear from her for days- maybe a week or two even. Kami was excited. Not only had she received a student, but Kami was also going to learn. This was definitely going to make the shock of not receiving a cute, little kid she could exploit completely disappear. She could have never trained someone older without feeling disrespectful with every critique. But since there was information Shira could teach her, everything would probably be okay. Probably.

When Shira gave her definition of the body, Kami had to sigh. "A+ for effort, but..." That answer hadn't been the one Kami had been looking for. "I was looking for a more technical answer." Kami shifted her weight from foot-to-foot, attempting to think of another way to phrase it. "''Like how well do you know the anatomy? The bones? The organs?" Kami questioned. "If I pointed to a spot on my body, would you know which organ is there and the bones that are under it?" Kami needed to know this. Because, if she could train Shira in the inner workings of the human body, she could make manipulating that sword so much easier. Of course, it as still going to be a heavy monstrosity, but each swing would be easily manipulated to inflict any level of damage Shira desired. "If you don't know, I can teach you. You're really dedicated, right?" Kami asked, smiling slightly.
Everyday for ten years, Kami pondered as she was tugged forward by the mere weight of the weapon. How much did it weight? There were lot's of questions running through Kami's mind. There were so many possibilities on what to help train Shira with. But, besides weight lifting, there was something else Kami could see having Shira study. However, that was for later. At this moment, Kami wanted to focus on the weapon in her hands. Well, at least, Shira probably didn't have to worry about someone tying to steal her sword. Any inexperience, greedy-eyed person would barely be able to drag the behemoth. "That's dedication." It wasn't a compliment... not really. It was simple an observable fact. Nothing else but dedication could explain how someone could drag this weapon around for ten years.

Kami nodded along to Shira's splurge, but she was barely paying attention. The weapon was awesome and Kami, having been raised as a medical ninja, wanted to dissect every single piece of the sword until she knew every last detail, function, and flaw. Despite the fact she was barely listening to Shira, Kami heard what she needed. The purest death and Shira staying true to her beliefs. That was better than perfect; a beautiful melody to her ears. Kami couldn't bring herself to treat Shira completely like a student. She knew of the Warbringer Shira but she hadn't thought for a moment she'd be training her. Shira wasn't a child. She was a young woman, like Kami, who had experienced the Resistance first hand. If Shira could defend herself even to Kami, this definitely could be a good working relationship. "Good. It'd be absolutely silly if you agreed with me." Not that Kami thought her ideas were silly, but... A ninja shouldn't easily comply to whatever someone told them. That way led to boredom and boredom always lead to war.

"I serve the wounded." Kami pointed out brusquely. She had served the wounded, ill, and dying during the war. However, that responsibility wasn't anywhere near the level that Shira had to her clan. Despite Kami's mother's constant nagging and the biology books that had been ready to her as bedtime stories, Kami still had freedom. She could choose another pass and the only person she'd really be disappointing was her mother. Shira though.... Well, that had to be stressful. Kami went to sit down on the ground so she could actually look over the sword. It was pretty impressive. Kami could definitely buy the candy shop with it. "I'm done looking at it." Kami would have tried to hand the weapon back, but strength wasn't her strong point. She smirked at the owner of the shop before grabbing another bag of roasted chestnuts. "Thanks~"

Almost as if an afterthought, Kami looked back over at Shira. The smirk was still firmly in place. "So, how much do you know about the human body?"

Sorry, I've been busy with work and studying. I'll try to post tomorrow but that depends on if studying for my Bio test becomes an all nighter.
