I don't think these are mutually exclusive, having a general sense of direction and a set of rules you have to follow can be just as good for the "writer" types as for anyone esle, although I do agree with you that some people might feel it too strict if there were too many of these rulesets. I don't think having a few guidelines like what @Traps posted previously would hurt creativity, it would just narrow it down so it sticks to the logic of the world.

Those are my thoughts on this currently anyway.
Would it be possible for a character to stick to the initial class of choice instead of going into sub-classes? I'd be interested in playing a full Barbarian.
My character is not exactly an inventor, but his personal goal is to build his very own airship over the (long) course of the RP by saving up money for parts etc. I think an adapted version of your chart could work for him as well?
@Traps

I was thinking of an Airship Aviator (as previously mentioned) who works for a contractor company where they provide an airship and a pilot with it for the client's needs. Depending on the dangers involved with the job, the pay is doubled, as it's less risky to deliver cargo than to hunt down a BAM (Big Ass Monster).
We need a bartender to keep our Spirits up. :P
Grammars 1 problim i dont hav

jk

I have a question about your world here. Is it American exclusively or do other countries, like Britain and Europe exist?

From the Information and CS sample that @Traps posted, I'd say the world still exists as it should, there's just an added element of Agartha (Hollow Earth) and steampunk advancement in the technology tree. So I'm 99% sure that Britain and Europe exists. :P
@YungTweak

I'm sorry to hear that. Bark was a great character but I understand, real life comes first. Thanks for letting us know and hope to RP with you again in the future.
Well, can it be both?

I'm generally curious about them, and how they differ (due to the setting) to real life ones like Blimps and Zeppelins. Would they work along the lines of Guns of Icarus (A fun game where you get to pilot steampunk airships to do battle), or do they more closely resemble reality in the way they work?

But yes, this and everything you mentioned is of great interest to me.
@Traps
I have a decent outline for my character, but I'm going to hold back until we have more information and an OoC up with it, so I can adjust to the setting more easily. I would like to know more about Airships in general though if that's possible, as I'm planning him to be an Airship Aviator.
sweet... IDK if @Genbor wants to do a collab post for eventual dialogue or not (I'm good either way), but I should have a post up within the week

Sure, would be fun. Hit me up in PMs and we can talk about it, since I'm not entirely sure how it works.
