Secret, Secret! You've got a secret!~
He does. He is proud of his heritage and will very seldom transform into a full human form.
Finally found the time to put my opening post in! Yay!
Rexton "Rex" Briar

Rexton happily strolled through the streets, passing buy all the merchants that are trying to sell their wares. None of them ever paid much attention to him, but that was by design. He was good at reducing his presence and, at times like these, it was a very good trait to have outside of combat. He turned his head to look back down the street and saw multiple merchants walk out and practically drag people to their kiosks. Rexton felt saddened by those people. They all wreaked of desperation and seem to have lost sight of some of the more simpler things in life, like customer service. Rexton shook his head, turned away, and kept on walking down the street towards the local bar. He enjoyed the occasional drink at the bar to calm his nerves after a stressful day of hunting outside of the city walls. Since a lot of the wildlife has been corrupted or devoured, it has become increasingly harder to find suitable prey to hunt and eat. After a few more minutes of walking, Rexton finally reached the bar.

The first sight when he opened to door was three interesting people sitting at the bar. He watched the three as he walked up to the bar. He noticed that the women with red eyes, and could sense that she was a lycan. He had noticed her before, walking through the city, but had never bothered to approach her. The two next to her he had never seen before. One was a dwarf in crimson armor and the other was what looked like a young elf with her pet fox. "A lycan, an elf, and a dwarf walk into a bar. Heh, sounds like the start of a bad joke," he said to himself with a smile as he took a seat next to the crimson dwarf. "Hey, barkeep! Surprise me today." He said placing a few coins onto the bar top.

"Hey! Rexton, I've been waiting for you to say that," The barkeep responded with a smile. He then walked into the back of his station and returned a few moments later with a glass of a mystery liquid. "I made this just for you, bud." He said with a playfully wicked grin.

Rexton gave him a look of confusion and excitement. "I don't know what you did, but you know that won't scare me," He said with his own grin. He picked up the glass and took a large swig of it, and almost instantly spit it out to his right, "Holy carp! That's disgusting man! What did you put in that thing?" He yelled at the barkeep.

"Oh, I figured you would like it. It's a special blend of vodka and some old fish oil I found in the back of my inventory." The barkeep said holding his chin as to look confused on why one of his most beloved customers didn't like it.

"Fish oil! Come on man, that's a disaster waiting to happen and you know it! Go get me a real drink!" Rexton continued to yell at the barkeep, but his serious face had split into of a large grin. He like it when people were still able to show a bit of humor amidst the apocalypse, and he couldn't stay mad. He watched the barkeep laugh it off and walk off in order to get him a new drink. Rexton then re-positioned himself in his stool in order to face the dwarf and others. "Can you believe some people?" He motioned towards the barkeep, "The names Rexton, but feel free to call me Rex. What are you guys talkin' about?"
I like the idea.

Still open?
I'm going to be posting later tonight or sometime tomorrow afternoon.
Yo, sorry for being gone. I had some health issues that had me out of the house for about a week or so.
Axel J Black

Axel, still stunned by Grimm's sudden change of appearence, was hit dead center of his abdomen and was propelled straight out of the inn. He flew out and hit the hard ground. It took him a second to regain his breath and gather his thoughts. He rolled onto his back and just laid there. He wasn't really expecting to start the fight in the inn, but he should have expected it. He let his guard down, and he was silently condemning himself because of it. He quickly snapped out of it when he suddenly felt a wave of magic flow over him. It wasn't strong, but he could feel it seeping into his wounds taking a little edge off of what little pain there actually was. Axel looked up and saw the figure of a women walking into the bar. He didn't get to see who she actually was, but he assumed it was her who had cast the healing magic on him.

Axel laid there for a few more seconds and jumped up onto his feet. He needed to stop being mad at himself, and be more careful next time. He decided to do a small stretch in order to loosen the tightening muscles in his abdomen. The hit was clean and it was going to be sore for a little bit, but that was nothing new to Axel. He had suffered much worse injuries before and this wasn't going to slow him down any. After his stretch was done, he decided to walk back into the inn. He walked in right at the end of Vikki's little lecture. He had known that it was a race against the clock, and he didn't want to start a fight in the inn originally. He was going to wait until the group had left town and had some time to kill, but that must not have been overly well communicated. He didn't like Vikki's comment on not having honor and not being a soldier, but it wasn't the time to comment on that.

He then looked over and saw another woman begin to speak. It was Maria Cross, one of the heads of this operation. He never really talked to her, but he knew of her. He smiled at her last comment, but didn't say anything. He then watched as Vikki slowly walked back towards to the door Axel was now standing in front of. He watched her closely as she walked towards him. He knew she wasn't happy and what she thought of him and Grimm, but he just stepped to the side and gave a cheeky smile towards her. "Going to be a fun trip."
