Maybe he did leave, and the original entity was free from corruption. It seem he was holding on to the program? This was within him. Protecting it maybe? I, I don’t really understand all of this and how the cyber world works, forgive me.

I wanted to try to save it, The Foreman I call it, as it was suffering. I thought I ended it our first encounter, but it survived and it spoke. I tried to get as much info as I could, but it let itself die to give us this…

“Freedom through slavery. Slavery through freedom.” Is something it kept repeating. Mentioned when the server arrived, everything within changed. I think that server was Melody corrupting the plant, but I don’t want to make bold assumptions.
