Ryu launched himself through the doorway, past the chef and into the old lady. She flew across the corridor from the impact, only stopping when her body hit the far wall. Ryu quickly shifted his attention to the two girls in bikinis, who were advancing towards him with evil grins. Ryu glanced at the chef. "Two on two, take your pick which one you want." He said.
Ryu looked at Tindy with a quizzical look. The situation the ship and all those aboard it were in and this girl was attempting to flirt with him? At least he thought she was. "No, we haven't..." He said. "I'm Ryu." He added, also announcing to the chef and the girl he had managed to identify as German from the accent. "As for your friend, you three are the first people I've seen bar the obese guy who tried to kill me not 10 minutes ago, so no I haven't seen her. A more pressing question though is what the hell is going on here? As I just mentioned, 10 minutes ago I woke up with someone trying to kill me. Then I come here and it's a massacre site and you're..." He motioned at the chef at this point, "... waving a damn spear around and dropping microwaves on people! What the hell was gotten into everyone suddenly?!" He was almost on the verge of shouting now. It was at that moment, just when Ryu thought things weren't going to get any worse that the lights went off, replaced with what must have been emergency lighting, the doors locked down and a warning about radiation blared out. Ryu let out an exasperated groan and shook his head. "Lovely. Just what I needed!"
Ryu glanced between the three people in front of him, also taking a second to glance at death by microwave. 'That can't have been enjoyable' He thought. He looked at the man as he spoke first to the girl opposite, who Ryu quickly deduced from her attire was a waitress of some sort, then to Ryu himself. He looked back down at death by microwave. 'If that's what happens when we're against you, I'm glad I'm on the other side of the fence."
@Jack There was no scream. There was an almost scream. :P EDIT: And the back of house is normally accessible only by staff, through marked locked doors, with keycard swipes. Since Ryu's guest and taking the guest lift, he'll stop at the second level, on the outside. But I guess you're just trying to catch up with a gang of somebodies, so that'll do. :P
I did notice just after I posted that I misread and it wasn't actually a scream as I had originally thought. Didn't think about the crew access only, but let's just assume the doors are held open or something similar owing to the situation :P
Ryu peered his head out the elevator, checking left and right for any signs of danger. The warzone like sight that greeted him directly infront of the elevator was replicated down the corridor both ways. Blood, color, body parts, more blood. But most importantly for now, no immediate danger was lurking and so Ryu stepped out of the elevator, albeit still with a hint of caution. Whatever happened here, was it related to the man in his room? His thought process was cut short as the distinct sound of heels clacking on a hard floor echoed through the corridor. Followed by a scream. Without hesitation, Ryu bolted towards the source of the scream. He arrived at a sushi kitchen just in time to watch a fish fly across the room and hit a metal container with a dull thud. He glanced towards the source of the flying fish, a woman standing just inside another entrance to the kitchen.
Ryu stared down at the man, bemused more than anything else. He just beat the living daylights out of this guy and he's still asking for more. Does he have no sense of self preservation? "What the hell is wrong with you?" Ryu asked. "You're gonna die, I'm gonna kill you." He replied and began to push himself back to his feet. 'He's serious... He's going to actually try and kill me...' Ryu thought. That wasn't going to happen. He glanced the room for the nearest object to try and use as a weapon but there was nothing big enough or heavy enough that wasn't bolted down. He was gonna have to kill this guy with his bare hands. Ryu had taken too long to mull over his possibilities though and the man had now gotten to his feet and was suddenly rushing towards him. He dodged at the very last moment and with a swift leg sweep brought the man crashing back to the floor, his considerable bulk making the floor shake beneath them. Ryu seized the oppurtunity and began kicking the man in the side of the head, over and over. A pool of blood was quickly forming around his head and the life was slowly draining from his eyes. Ryu raised his foot one final time but the killing blow never came. He hesitated and decided agaisnt killing him. It would cause more bad than good. "I'm going for a walk. Be gone before I'm back" He said. The man groaned in reply. Ryu left the room and walked down the corridor towards the elevators. He walked into an open, empty one and pushed the button for the 2nd floor. He'd heard there was a good restraunt down there & he'd been meaning to try it. He closed his eyes as the lift began to move. 'What a morning...' He sighed and opened his eyes again as the lift slowed, dinged and the doors opened to what could only be described as a warzone. "What the hell is going on here...?"
"How many times do I need to yell go away before it sinks in god damn it!" Ryu yells, frustration very evident in his voice, in response to the banging on his cabin door that had woken him up 15 minutes ago and hadn't stopped since. The banging carried on and Ryu couldn't take it any longer. He rolls out of his bed and approaches the door. He hesitates for a second. Maybe it isn't so wise to open the door? He shakes his head and dismisses the thought. What's the worst that will happen? He opens the door and can barely even get a word out before the cause of the banging, a rather angry looking middle aged man launches himself at Ryu. "The fu--!" Is all he can say as Ryu is tackled to the floor. He wrestles with the man, trying with all his strength to push him off while the man throws punches wildly at him. Most of the punches land on Ryu's left arm as he holds it across his face in the only attempt to block that he can. He keeps trying to push but to no avail. The man is rather heavy to put it lightly and there's no way Ryu is pushing him off. So he resorts to plan B. While still blocking with his left arm, he swings his right into a punch with all the strength he can muster into the side of the man's head, hitting him square on the temple. The man wails in pain and Ryu manages to push him off as he recoils from the pain. Ryu rushes to his feet and makes quick of the advantage he's given himself. Before the man can climb back to his feet, Ryu kicks him back the floor. He lands another kick into the man's side. And another, and another. With the man now gasping for breath, Ryu stops. "Hope that taught you a lesson," He growls at the man. "Now get out before I do more damage." The man doesn't leave. Instead, he looks up at Ryu and grins. "You're gonna die." He wheezes.
