Of Guns and Magic

The World of Pangea is unheard of. It's history grows way way back. but i'll give it's current situation. Pangea is a land governed by Magic. Most of them fendering the shadows that haunt the feilds, ruthlessly hunting anyone they see.The Telosans are the primary wielders of Magic. However, due to technological advancements,the People of Pangea wants to fend the shadows on their own without the help of the Telosans, so the humans decided to build the Skycity Ayodhia was built. The Guilds were formed alongside it, offering help for research on shadows.

However, how long will this peace last?

The world of Pangea is is mostly unexplored. So far, only 1/4 of the world is just discovered thanks to the shadows.

Shadows

The shadows are known as the predators that Hunt during the night. They take the form of anything they see, from animals to humanoid figures.Most of them can wield some form of magic.like breathing fire, causing tornados, snowstorms, and thunder strikes as well. However, most of them can reproduce almost immediately after being sliced or struck. The holy presence of the Telosan's Magic is what keeps the reproduction delayed for about a year.

Our roleplay takes place 10 years after the Sortis outbreak.

What's the Sors?
The Sors is more known as the first man-made Living Cell that could Actually adapt to different life-forms and mimic them. however, after each research facility who houses this cell explodes, it mutated the cell in a permanent lock on the content of the explosion. hence, it spread to all animals on earth, mutating them into various monsters. Some may Vary in size, some may vary in supernatural ability, some may vary on toughness.
Here's an Example;
Neiju-Neijus are 2-Tailed Tigers that emit plasma radiation whenever they're encountered. They're usually found in groups of 4. Most commonly associated for the 'Supernatural Affinty' Category
Sortisopod-These are giant isopods, about 10 ft tall. It's shell is as though as a normal turtle. Usually found alone. Most Commonly Associated for the 'Size' Category
Torqi-The Sortis Turtle is CRAZY Big. Not only it is the heaviest Sortis so far, it is the most hardest to cut open.

The Cerberus Hunters
5 years after the outbreak, the UN's last remaining leaders founded the Cerberus Hunters. Which focuses on eliminating Sortis, the mutated monsters who bore the Sors. These People were trained to use the Fender Cross, a blade which uses Mutated Sors Cell to shift blades into Gun's Barrel. It's Barrel only uses Sors Amunition, which are basically capsules you shove into the Cross' Reactor. Many hunters craft their own Fender Cross Blades, while the Gun Barrels are provided by the Scientists.

Your job? Obey your superiors and hunt down some sortis!
