Thanks, I hope that I can make something concrete soon.
I'd be totally into joining!
@Sovi3t
Thanks! I'm definitely thinking of building a lot of "underworld-type" stuff. If you've got any suggestions [and this goes to anyone reading] feel free to share and I'll try to incorporate them in.
Thank you so much!
Honestly, this will definitely need to be cleaned up in terms of figuring out a good plot. In any case, it's a rough & watered version and I'm just checking if anyone would be into this.

All right, so this is clearly a very early idea, and I'm basically doing an interest check before proceeding any further. I'd definitely be willing to get a co-GM or just any sort of help!

The story will be around a hundred or so years in the future, for one thing.

Possible History?: Robots/AI have been created to serve humankind, which means that they vary from being nannies to sex workers. However, most newer models have the ability to learn by experience, and at creation are essentially equal to children in terms of their perception of the world. Eventually, they gain varying personalities to an extent, but are viewed as machines. They don't have very many rights and are expected to do as told, even at the cost of their well-being.

Considering that they're to follow their programming, robots can't really reject the will of a human. However, several reports of robots either running away or outright attacking others have begun to crop up. People end up finding out that a virus ended up causing certain programming mechanisms [I'm not a scientist, just bare with me here] to be negated. So, they end up getting what can be assumed to be free will. People eventually try to destroy the robots, and fail miserably as the AI defend themselves, causing the human race to severely dwindle.

Now?: Most ended up being scattered into the wilds in protest while the AI have stayed in cities. To our envy, the robots take better care of the environment than we ever could, and by twenty years severely decrease pollution production. They build and thrive, while the outsiders wait.

There'll be some new technology that's around, since it'd be kind of boring to go without. So I'll probably end up inventing new gadgets and drugs and things like that [please help me]. The robots basically ended up building a utopia, although humans are actually free to walk in whenever. So this may be the difference, since the robots aren't really that malicious. They were basically just defending themselves from extinction, and stopped when they won.

Basically, there will be humans in and out of cities while robots stay in their tech castles. A lot of info was lost during the war, and so humans are still used to update existing robots, although aren't able to create new ones. Humans in cities are capable of earning jobs, both in scientific and creative fields, and just live pretty normally- although a few still harbor a hatred against them. Those outside are mostly fearful of the cities, and are left alone in "reservations" for their own good. In any case, there are rumors about them building something big that will disrupt tech entirely, and they're looking for revenge.

Cybernetics will definitely be a thing, and there will be illegal implants. Robots, on the other hand, are desperately looking to be human. Though still lacking the finesse of real nerves, on the outside they've started to look quite similar. Since they're not able to replicate more of their kind, most are looking towards gaining real flesh. In some way, after living for so long, want to fully integrate into a society that once rejected them.

I've got a lot of work ahead of me. Also, I sort of wrote this pretty quickly, so feel free to ask questions! This'll definitely help since I'm going to try and get into quite a bit of depth if enough interest is generated. I know that the idea seems pretty sloppy, but I'm making parts of this up as I go. I hope that enough of you are at least moderately curious, and I'd definitely want both humans and AI characters.

Name: Jie Xiao

Age: Twenty-Two

Sex: Female

Element:Non-bender

Home: Middle Ring

Appearance: Jie stands at around 5'4" with a slimmer build. With extremely light brown hair and green eyes, she tends to attract a certain amount of attention. The girl is pale with high cheekbones, although constantly sports a look of exhaustion. To repair this, she'll predominantly wear makeup to cover the effects of certain lifestyle choices, which will eat up most of her funds. In terms of fashion-sense, Jie is quite trendy due to the requirement of her profession. She possesses a distinct burn mark that traces along her left forearm, to which she will keep hidden with various long-sleeved outfits.

Profession: Though not vastly wealthy, Jie spends her time as a singer to mostly the Upper Ring. Whether she be the background noise of a noble's party to the main performer in a gambling house, the girl has made her way into being a moderate success.

Personality: Jie is a selfish person. Extremely determined, she is the sole reason for her own rise to the Middle Ring. In some twisted way, the girl will often confuse selflessness or kindness for being weak. To most, however, she will attempt to keep a friendly demeanor as she is supposed to. Though she loves making friends and being around anyone who can keep up with her, she finds dealing with most to be a cumbersome task. Thus, Jie is quite open in terms of moral values, and willing to accept almost anyone so long as they're interesting enough.

Vainly aware of her own good looks, the girl will use her attributes to gain favor whenever necessary. This, of course, is her weapon of choice. Having had the goal of becoming a good socializer, Jie is a capable speaker and liar.

Stance on Benders?: She mostly dislikes the idea of benders. Like the majority, she sees them as too much of a hazard to keep unsupervised. Considering benders to be the reason for the world's present state, she supports a certain amount of regulation against such dangerous people.

History: Before, Jie once lived in the Lower Ring with her elder sister, Han. Her parents having been convicted as benders early in her life, she is unable to remember them, and therefore does not consider them as family. Though their age gap is severely large by fifteen years, the two girls were extremely close due to their circumstances. They'd survived in comfort for a time due to her sister's sacrifices, which allowed Jie to live out her childhood. Unable to support themselves without education or wealth, Han had earned her means as a smugler to members of varying rings. Due to this, Jie had been raised by listening to the experiences of others, following around the various characters that had flowed in and out of the Lower Ring.

A late bloomer, Han discovered her ability to firebend by burning her sister in the process. Though Jie allowed her to escape into the Wilds before being condemned, she still bears an anger towards the woman for leaving so quickly. Without a proper family along her adolescent years, she turned to Zen, adding on to the large population that depended on it as a favorite pastime. She would do whatever it took to provide enough for herself, and became a courtesan in the process of her descent. It was an unsurprisingly quick downward spiral, and the most desperate time of her life.

Unable to attract a large enough following to support her habits, Jie looked to other avenues as well. Though capable of charisma, she wished to garner more coin by the way of singing. After gaining the right sort of clientele, the girl moved to the Middle Ring as just that. Although Zen's use has slowly begun to wane, Jie is still a regular customer of one of the many drug smuglers in The Republic.
