Species Biology: Zrsk ants eat a balance of both green vegetation and fresh meat. Between 5 degrees C and 35 degrees C preferably at the higher end. Devoted to the protection of the queen and getting food Zrsk ants have a strong hierarchy within their hives able to communicate within their species using pheromones they cannot disobey their superiors in the hive. Zrsk ants generally live around 15 years. One of the main threats to zrsk ants are birds as their mandibles and stings cannot penetrate the beaks. Zrsk ants normally use their larger than normal size to their advantage using their mandibles and powerful front legs to tear apart their opponents, if they are not successful in disposing of the enemy quickly they then use their poison.
The castes are:
Worker: The main body of the hive. Not much combat prowess but can take down enemies in great numbers.
Warrior: The next largest group, able to be created in bulk they are the army for the hives. Depending on their speciality they can come in different shapes and sizes.
Elite: These are one of the smallest classes of the hives. Advanced in combat they protect the queen.
Royal: Although there is only 1 queen royal eggs are laid. The queen always makes sure to have at least one in the hive so that in case she dies the next queen awakened by the pheromones released can take her place, any others are either sent away or destroyed to keep the queens hive from having contenders.

Zrsk ants are weak to fire, ice and water. Fire can burn their carapaces, ice freezes them to death and the water drowns them. They are strong against the earth, sonic and wind. Zrsk's are rare insects although they have large hives. They do not care the time of the day although on cold nights often stay inside cover. The warriors and elites have tough armour whereas the workers trade that for speed, they all are very strong as most ants are. They don't taste very good but give a lot of nutrients. They will attack anything that they believe they can beat, when going after larger creatures like mammals they often attack in large numbers.
Habitat: They live anywhere from grasslands to forests. Their hives are generally built with warmth in mind to keep them warm through winters.
Grouping: The species live in vast hive systems that sometimes have multiple hives under one queen, elites will sometimes go solo but most zrsk ants travel in large groups.
Elements: Fire. Poison.
Specialized Body Parts: Depending on what function they serve in the hive they will have different body parts. Scrx has wings to enable her to fly up to 15 miles per hour. They also have glands on their legs that allow them to release the pheromones that give them communication. They have stingers which they use to attack with their mandibles and front legs, the stingers allow them to poison their opponents.
Skills/Spells/Tactics:
Fire spray: This allows them to use their glands on their legs to also let out a mist that they can light on fire. It also allows them to heat their hives more easily.
Poison Spikes Linked to both the stinger and the wings Scrx can shoot spines of poison. When fired from the wings it is more an AOE attack and when fired from the stinger its more accurate.
Stats: Scrx is an average example of her species but has an advantage over most of her species in her speed and agility.
Biography: Scrx was hatched among 9 other new elites for the queens hive. Immediately her lust for blood and death kicked in, seeing the other strong bugs as a potential threat to a queen she felt devoted to protect she went beserk. Completely destroying her 9 elder siblings and drinking her blood she made a name for herself among the hive. Her violence was much feared by insects within the hive and in surrounding civilizations. Skip on a couple of years and Scrx is leading a hive army in battle against another strong colony of ant like creatures that was located dangerously close to the new hive her queen now ruled over. Charging through the base of the hill the hive killed colony members right left and centre. Immediately aiming for a chamber she hoped would hold the queen she was cut short. Suddenly a flash of purple light appeared and Scrx fell....
