Thanks, good to be back. I took a loooong break from roleplaying, so it's good to finally be able to do so again. Is sound a viable power?
You still have a spare space in the roleplay? I'd love to join.
Hey everyone, sorry about being a butt as of recent and not posting at all. But I think I need a little break from roleplaying for a little while as I've just been stuck. I hate to keep holding you guys up and preventing the roleplay from moving on, so I think it would be best if I take a short break and get the motivation back to write again. I'll try to bounce back, but for now, you can continue on without me and assume my characters have decided to leave for a little while. Thanks for everything.
Sorry, sorry. Stuff has been popping up everywhere and have barely had time to reach my computer. Family things. Can you skip me again? I'll be free to roleplay way more often in a day or two.
Hey, so I might not be able to make my post for this RP right around now, so you can just skip me for this round and assume that I just fired a gust.
Connor thought, the stone gears in his mind grinding and churning. He had a chance to ask anything he could to the wolf. Anything at all? This was his chance to really tell the wolf off just how much he hated her, and maybe put her down even more. He could insult her, but asking her a question that they hadn't thought of could really help the group. Maybe he could kill her, but with that, they'd lose a valuable source of information, and Tony would probably get mad at him and make him go find someone else from their group to imprison and interrogate.

"Do you.. know where your parents are?" The words that came out of his mouth surprised him. He didn't mean to ask that, at all. But he didn't take the words back. Connor began to stalk away before Michelle could answer. He shrugged. He could always put her down later. He doubted that cage was soundproof. Connor looked over the forest horizon. The city was far off, and he could make out several small figures out in the distance. The forest was always ripe with other people.

After their uneventful city time, he would probably head out and join the hunting got up instead. He was sure he'd be able to come back with some pretty good game if he tried. For the briefest, most fleeting moment, he wondered if he could eat some of the other things in the forest, but he quickly dispelled that idea. They were still people, they just had different forms and some had different minds. It would be just like cannibalism. He was sure there was plenty of rabbit and deer out there for all of them.
Hex looked around, looking for anything to attack. Maybe an eye, maybe a stray limb in the darkness. She began fluttering her wings, preparing up another gust, feeling the musky wind rolling around, a whirlwind of dust and old air. Another ray of technicolor beams seemed to emerge from no where, hitting Terra. She slumped to the floor immediately. There went their fairy type, and with it, most of her confidence over fighting the dark type. Hex blew her gust into the darkness, but she was pretty sure she hit nothing.

After the hypnosis of Terra, the monster let out a couple of raspy, dry coughs. It sounded dangerously unhealthy or sick. She glanced over at Matt, and a quick, dark limb suddenly struck him out of nowhere, shattering the Light Screen he had up with ease, with surprised her. Usually Matt's light screen held against some pretty strong attacks, but the pokemon had shattered it with a single strike. Nearby, Terra was struggling in her sleep, probably having a nightmare.

Hex could've sworn that Terra was getting damaged in her sleep. The monster hadn't even used nightmare on her. It must've been pretty powerful to be able to do something like that to her. They would have to make sure not to get hit by that hypnosis, or else they'd all be lying on the floor, incapacitated and having nightmares. If it had been able to knock her out with a single beam, then it'd probably be able to get them all with a single beam.
They began the trip back home albeit much slower. Unfortunately, Connor was restricted to just following Tony. The trip seemed to be taking forever now, unfortunately. When he was going to the city, the trip wasn't all that long. Just sprinting throughout he forest. He could've probably easily strode ahead, and the trip would be half the time, but apparently the little people couldn't quite sprint through the forest as fast as he could. He wondered if Dylan ever felt the same about his group. Probably.

Once they arrived at the cave, he noticed that the hunting group wasn't back from their trip yet. Hopefully they came soon, because everyone else seemed a little malnourished. Connor really didn't feel all that hungry, but did giant stone behemoths generally eat anything? He had tried to eat something a day or two ago, but it had just slid down his gullet. No chewing, or tasting, really, so he didn't imagine he'd have to find anything to eat. One more advantage to being a golem.

Mike was still there, still keeping a watchful eye over the wolf in the cage. It was time to interrogate her, and as much as he really, really, really wanted to do it, Deravan had been the one who volunteered to interrogate her. Inside, she looked thinner and more gaunt than she had been when she first attacked her. She must've been really hungry. Maybe they could bribe her with food to get more answers. But not much food, hopefully. Just enough to keep her still hungry.

The stone walls slid down, revealing her slumped down on the ground. He doubted that she'd be able to do anything to the group in the state that she was in, and even if she did manage to pull together a small attack, the group would easily be able to counter it and incapacitate her with ease. Seeing the wolf's form lying on the ground, he felt a twang of guilt inside of him, that he quickly dismissed and replaced with anger. The wolf nearly killed them. He would make sure he'd return the favor.
As they continued down the steps, the quality of the basement began to degrade more and more. The steps seemed to squeak as they were stepped on, and mold seemed to be growing in various corners. When they entered the basement, it almost seemed pitch black. She could luckily still see her teammates as long as they were close to her, but she didn't know if she could tell left from right in this kind of darkness. Hex heard Anthony say something, and she swung around.

A blue eye was floating in the darkness. A multicolored, vibrant ray of rings emerged from the eye, heading toward Anthony. He managed to dodge it, and it disappeared upon hitting the ground. Wherever it was. Hex launched a gust at it, a rolling ball of tightly packed musky wind. Each member of the team launched attacks at it, but all of them seemed to miss except for a Terra. Her attack looked like it did a lot of damage to it. The thing murmured something, but she had no idea where it was.

Hex tried another strategy, and opened her mouth, trying out a move she hadn't used in a while. She felt something tingle in her mouth, and she gnashed wildly into the air, trying to bite.. something. Unfortunately, she didn't land anything, and she closed her mouth, disappointed that she didn't get to use Bug Bite. Hex heard Josh say something about a dark type, and Matt raised a flat pane of light. It didn't help much to see, but it felt more comfortable having a source of light near.
After a moment of murmuring and talking amongst themselves, the beaten-up trio finally decided to join their group. They seemed to join surprisingly easily, considering that Connor had beaten them up and left them for dead yesterday. A Gryphon stepped foward, Mark, volunteering to guard the water wolf's cage and ensure it doesn't get out, and nothing gets to it. Apparently, Mark was good with water, so he'd have to keep the gryphon close to him.

The golem and dragon decided to help them in their attempt at rallying up some other members. They continued down the street, everyone walking together. It looked like something you'd see on the cover of some metal album. A group of mythical monsters, a zombified dragon, and a bronze giant. The general response from the populace was "No," unfortunately. He was hoping that some other people besides people he tried to kill earlier would join.

Connor hoped that Mark would keep Michelle's stone cage closed. Of course, the whole thing could be a trick to get revenge, that would end in their entire group dead. He didn't really trust any of the people he had attacked earlier. He could've killed them earlier, and now they're acting like they had the exact same mission and goal as them. He had seen them attacking Ralph, for apparently no reason, so he didn't know if adding them to their group would be a good idea.

Maybe he was just getting paranoid. How could someone be stupid enough to try to get revenge on someone who brought them to the border of death just yesterday? At least if the trio did try to betray them, the group could probably easily overpower them and throw them in a ditch or something, making sure they were all dead. Deravan suggested that they should interrogate the wolf more, and Connor thought about how he would be more than happy to do so.
