Name: Abigail Lee Age: 19 Sex: Female Appearance: [img=http://www.brainphysics.com/sites/default/files/images/5180391961_c692168b39_z.news3.jpg] Personality: Abigail is well-behaved and doesn't talk much. She will respond and be pleasant if you initiate a conversation, but is terrible at starting them herself and will tend to latch onto the first thing she notices about the other person. As a result of this, she tends to come across as rather odd. She also enjoys experimenting and trying new things, often with a lack of thought for her own safety or how her actions would affect others. Reminding her of any undesirable consequences will fix that most of the time, unless she is extremely curious to see the results. Flame color: Pink

See this cs I can accept but... Are you sure you want your flame to be called Imoan. As in "I moan" as in moaning as in grunts often related to sexual pleasure. I am going to laugh so hard every time i read one of your posts because i have the mentality of a 12 yearold. Try and consider a new name with this in mind-Look since you like generators so much heres one

Heh, thanks! note to self: maybe pay more attention to this sex thing I don't need it right now but this could be useful later. Name has been fixed.

It would almost come across as laziness? We want a character that you made, not generated. And like Kiri said, the second CS is more acceptable.

Wasn't referring to the generators, but that's understandable.
I know. What's wrong with that?

Made some changes first; I won't be on again for a few hours.

Name: Naomi Sykes
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Appearance: Naomi has brown eyes, tanned skin and thick straight, charcoal-colored hair (usually worn loose). She is short (5'2") and has an hourglass build, with prominent cheekbones and large feet. Her wardrobe is unconventional and artistic, with a completely green and black color scheme.
Personality: Naomi is perceptive and good at generating ideas but has a hard time focusing enough on them to follow through. She is assertive, enthusiastic and adaptable, but finds being alone difficult. She can be blunt at times due to not taking others' feelings into account, and despises sentimentality in others.

Posted. My laptop crashed and my spare one is annoyingly slow, might be slower in catching up for a few weeks.
Finally, Kelsey thought as she entered her dorm. She'd been beginning to wonder if the police would ever finish. They'd asked about the explosion first, which she could truthfully say she knew nothing about. Their questions about the car door were a bit harder to dodge, and she'd simply denied seeing anything. The yelling guy had apparently run off after tearing the car door open, which complicated things slightly. After about half an hour, they'd let everyone leave. She'd stopped at the frat house on the way, and after a few minutes' argument she had her phone back. Her shoes were on the front yard, thankfully dry and free of suspicious-looking stains. After that was settled she returned to her dorm.

Arina wasn't back yet; probably being monitored after smoke inhalation or something. Still, she felt it was as good a time as any to test something she'd noticed earlier. When she'd been trying to put out the fire on the car, she'd felt something. Almost like a tug, or seeing something out of the corner of her eye. An awareness of something. And when she'd pulled on it... She wanted to see if she could duplicate that.

Right now her awareness was picking up a lot of those things. A thought, like how she moved her arm, and a dark blob rose up from every shadow in the room. Long tendrils snaked out from underneath the bed and closet: made sense, it was dark under there after all. Another, reaching out to the nearest object, and every blob and tendril pushed at the object casting the shadow they came from. The furniture stayed steady (and the closet doors opened), but some of the smaller items in the room toppled over. Oops.

Kelsey went to put them back, but an idea occurred to her. She tried visualizing the darkness righting them and the tendrils wrapped themselves around them and put them back in place.

Seeing that, Kelsey resisted the urge to grin. Part of her was overjoyed and wanted to dance around the room. That part was already imagining all the ways she could use this power, visions of dark tendrils reaching up from people's shadows and methods to make use of her own filling her mind. The rest of her suspected that part was the same one which had enjoyed her social status, when she could take advantage of it. Even found maneuvering through her friends' scheming fun, strange as that probably sounded to anyone else.

For a moment she wondered if she was hallucinating. People couldn't do these kinds of things. They just couldn't. It was more likely that she was seeing things.

Kelsey thought of the frosted-over car door.

Then again, maybe not.

She'd have to find that girl eventually, as well as the other people who were there. But first, checking up on her roommate sounded like a good idea.
Thursday night

Kelsey was beginning to wonder why she'd bothered attending this party. The music was so loud she could feel the bass thumping through her chest like a second heartbeat, and it looked like everyone was either completely stoned out of their mind or behaving like complete idiots.

In other words, it was pretty much every party Laura and Nicolette threw.

She stared outside as someone behind her sang (screamed, really) along to the song. There'd been a boy she met earlier, when the party hadn't quite been... like this. He was kind of cute, and he was single too, which suited her nicely. They'd talked for a while before he left to get another drink and never came back. She wondered if he was outside–

–apparently he was. He'd just stumbled into view and vomited into a nearby bush. Great.

Her roommate was outside, standing nearby. Arina was definitely overdressed for this, Kelsey thought even as she looked at that cocktail dress in envy. Has she even been to a party before? Besides ballroom dinners and dances. She'd probably been to plenty of those.

Laura definitely had. She'd hear about it for weeks afterwards whenever she did. Arina hadn't done anything like that so far, though, which was a point in her favour.

Kelsey turned away from the window and looked around. Just a few months ago, the same thing had happened in her house. It had taken two hours to clear everyone out, three weeks to fix everything, and her parents still hadn't quite forgiven her for it.

But this wasn't her house.

This whole mess would be the frat's problem, not hers. She couldn't help but smile at the thought.

Kelsey made her way to the drink tables, picking up a red cup. It wasn't water or soda, but she was thirsty and alcohol was better than nothing.

Friday morning

"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

She regretted everything.

The whooping made her head pound even worse and she felt woozy, but even before she opened her eyes, she knew. She hadn't made it back to her dorm. She wasn't anywhere inside the house. The surface beneath her felt like wet grass.

I can't put this off forever. She opened her eyes reluctantly and got to her feet, wincing as her head spun. Somehow all her clothes were still on, a minor miracle as far as she was concerned.

Wait, was her shirt inside-out? And where were her shoes? Kelsey frowned. That couldn't be good.

She glanced around and saw Arina. I take that back.

She was in a park of some kind. There was a car nearby (a car?) and several people were sprawled out on the grass nearby. One in particular was yelling and laughing, he must have been the one she heard when she woke up.

What the hell is he even on? It looked like he was still tripping; she hadn't thought that was possible. Where can I get some?

No, why was she thinking about doing drugs when she'd just woken up from the first bender she'd ever had? Kelsey decided to stay where she was, at least until her head didn't hurt quite as much.

So... I got a real pictue, can I be in now?

I don't think that was the issue.

Now I wouldn't normally go into such detail, but your character's history section brought back memories so I almost feel obliged to help make it better. I have to know though, is English your first language and/or are you typing on your phone? This is important. If your posts are all going to be like that I'm not sure if you'd fit in this rp.

-I really think pasting your character sheet into Microsoft Word would help. There's still quite a few spelling and capitalization errors which would definitely be caught with spellcheck. If you don't have it, look it over again more carefully and fix every typo you find. I'd be happy to help with the rest as long as you try.

-His likes section was a bit odd for me. If he's playing games that often it's going to affect his studies somehow. Is he skipping class? What games does he like anyway? I like fantasy RPGs myself, though the Borderlands games are fun too. What about programming? You said he was a hacker so I imagine he'd be familiar with that. Programming can be pretty fun (I just started learning btw). And apparently he's in several relationships at once (yay Casanova!) so does he like romancing people or are his interests more physical? If neither, why? I think we all want to know :)

-Personality: how does he like and dislike socializing at the same time? Are there some parts he doesn't like, or is he only comfortable with it under certain conditions? Both are pretty common. I like finding common ground with people and learning more about them but having to look welcoming and smiley all the time tires me out. You can use stuff in the likes/dislikes section to expand this further. Why does he feel that way about those things?

-Your history section is rather short. Everyone wrote at least a paragraph (even the guy who doesn't like doing it). I mean, I have 2 out of the 3 things you listed so I can guess at a few things but it's always useful to have some detail. Was he bullied? Did he try to fight back or did he keep his head down and endure? Does he think people are scum after all this? Will he think our characters are scum because of any of this (*coughKelsey'sdefinitelybulliedpeoplelikehiminhighschoolcough*)? I think we all want to know that too :)

-Why would time-and-space manipulation cause fox ears? Best I can think of is he opened a portal to some unlucky fox. I thought it would make slightly more sense if he had shapeshifting and got stuck or something but I talked to the GM in chat and apparently that kind of thing doesn't happen. No one's been captured by the government either.

If you still have questions, you can always go to the chat linked in the top OOC post. Chulance would definitely be willing to help. I asked him about this.

Occupation: Waitress at one of the campus cafes.

Talents/Skills: Acting, dancing, reading people, conversation, dodgeball

Likes: Watching Netflix, shopping, pop music, dancing

Dislikes: liars, gossipers, hypocrites, insects, spicy food, messy surroundings

Personality: Kelsey is very cynical and distrustful but hides it behind a "airhead" persona. She is easily bored but also easily distracted; the best way to hold her attention is with games and contests. In fact, she sees most of life as a game, but understands that some games have very serious consequences. She will not hesistate to stop gossipers if they do that around her, but she utterly despises people who do it to their friends.

History: Kelsey is from New York City and attended some of the most exclusive private schools in the area. For most of elementary and middle school she was known as a quiet girl with excellent grades, but in high school she blossomed and ended up friends with the two most popular girls in her grade. However, they took turns freezing her out and made her act as a middleman in their all too frequent feuds. They were much worse to the other students though, so she stayed, not wanting to become a target.

Eventually graduation night arrived and her "friends" took advantage of her parents' absence on a business trip to throw a party at her house. This turned out to be the last straw for several reasons, and she deliberately applied to a college which was out of state and not on any of their lists of schools to get away from them.
