@Zardoric So essentially you were doing what I was doing?
Trying to poke people into action while taking a back seat~ xD
In all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if a few people just leave the scene.
Song Knight's are probably a lot more physically adept (especially if enhanced with their spirit).
Normally this could cause fugitive scenario's... but considering how several got involved, it's possible for one to slip away unnoticed, and considering the situation it's unlikely for the authorities to send out warning posters. Actually think it could be pretty funny if they weren't criminals, but got boo'ed during the tournament xD

@KoL
I'm pretty sure the government of Japan and Korea don't actually recognize marriages between lonely men and their anime-character pillows. xD Though if they do I'd happily get married to one and reap the benefits of social security. Hell why not buy a smaller pillow and claim child support while I'm at it? xD

Sort of expected that response, but it's good to get clarification on the matter. For most song-knights I'm assuming the concept would be like marrying a sibling or best-friend, and be highly awkward xD Haven't yet decided if Ravel being a spirit would change Shakra's stance; since he's unlikely to care what the plebeians think, it comes down to how I set his own personal beliefs on the matter. Setting it against could lead to a lot of interesting direct drama, while dismissing it as a trivial hurdle could result in interesting opportunities for others... Hmmm, eh I'll wing it when the time comes xD

On a completely unrelated note, I'm curious as to what the inactive policy is for this RP?
I know you mentioned that you didn't want to give off the whole "You need to be a no-lifer to be apart of this roleplay' vibe, but how long would you be willing to wait for someone who's absent from both the IC and OoC, before safely ruling them out as departed?

@KoL
I really have no idea what I'm doing with that scene to be honest. I initially thought it'd be funny for Shakrais to become infatuated with Cass, and then take forever to realize the Cass was a guy, but then figured it'd be just as amusing to see Shakrais pursue a spirit. xD Especially since I'm assuming the combination of a man and spirit would be either taboo, unheard of, or at least highly unusual. (Though who's to say it doesn't happen behind closed doors)~

Figured I should also reiterate that Shakrais hasn't realized Ravel is a spirit yet xD
Might be fun to play things along, but I'll leave that up to you.
If Claudia forbids it, Shakrais will just have to convince her with gifts!
Starting with carving out several nudes of Claudia before turning them into statues made of precious metal/gems. We can put one ontop of the fountain in the marketplace, one at each entrance to Arpeggio, and one on either side of the entrance to the tournament grounds! x3

@Rakurai We have to make some sort of speech to appease the masses, and having Mary acknowledge her mistake openly and accept some form of punishment would go a lot further then trying to defend her actions.

The question is, why do you have to 'appease the masses?'
Obviously you have to acknowledge the existences of angry peasants wielding crude weapons, but it's not like you all have to stand there and act like a collective group of officials trying to cover up a botched job.

As I stated previously, there's no reasonable way for Mary to apologies and admit fault, since technically she was committing and act of terrorism xD And explaining that Taylor isn't a skeleton/necromancer is just a waste of time. I think it's plausible for Ueno to go unnoticed since he was controlling his living armors from a distance. And Moros.... well he's already decided to observe.

@KoL
Don't 'guys' me! Rawrs!
I would have done more acting and less babbling, but I'm admittedly not involved with the scene. Hence the only thing I can actually do is rant and babble. I don't think positing ideas is a bad way to go since it does encourage communication and engagement between players, but if the planning does go over board I can see it as an issue. Metagaming is already happening with things like the baby anyway xD

@RiverMaiden
I personally think the next post for Mary will be quite important.
How she responds now will really define her as a character, as she most likely has a routine she goes through when her crazy escapades go awry.
Coming up with a solution would be nice, but I think it'd really detract from the character is you sacrificed her personality and character for the sake of conflict resolution. She's known as the "City's Madness" and I'd hope she lives up to her name xD

Shakrais Mahavedya

Both the disgruntled murmurs of the man(?) and his hasty departure went completely unnoticed by Shakrais who’d invested the entirety of his attention on the rather friendly woman standing before him. Claudia’s response hadn’t quite been ideal, but her charming smile made up for it, and was leagues better than the uneasy look of discomfort Shakrais’s usually received when he approached women.
“A smitten fool from the very moment I set my eyes on you fair lady” Shakrais continued, feigning modesty as he graciously accepted the piteous little offering of silver coins. A true-tyrant never turned down an offering of valuables no matter how small, and it wasn’t Claudia’s fault she couldn’t resist paying tribute to Shakrais’s irresistible charm, right?

“You would be most welcome to join me-eee?!?” Shakrais yelped as something, or rather someone abruptly decided to slam themselves against the small of his back, knocking him unexpectedly forward… had Claudia not been standing right infront of him Shakrais might have managed to regain his balance, but wanting to avoid embarrassing the friendly woman, Shakrais attempted to step to the side…. And ended up tripping over his own feet, landing face first by Claudia’s feet. Shakrais had heard the calls for Claudia, but had dismissed Ravel’s cries as at this point, Shakrais had no way of knowing that the Claudia being called for, was the same woman that stood before him.

Laying still on the ground for a good few seconds, it was only when on-lookers were beginning to think Shakrais had been knocked out that Shakrais reluctantly took Claudia’s hand and lifted himself up. Mumbling a rather bitter “Thanks” though the comment was equally intended to be a sarcastic bite at his own spirit partner who mockingly wriggled around in his pouch of jewels. Quartz had sensed an approaching figure long before the collision, but had intentionally decided to remain uninvolved, sensing that the assailant didn't seem to be approaching with the intent to harm.

Shakrais wasn’t usually one to respond in a hostile manner, but clear signs of fuelled irritation flickered dangerously as emerald green orbs turned to face their aggressor. Things had been going so well between him and Claudia, and then this stupid human-girl had to ruin….
Knocking Claudia’s hand away, and brushing past the master to get to the spirit. Shakrais swiftly took ahold of Ravel’s hands, turning her back towards him so that he could get a good look into her eyes.
“Become my wife then” Shakrais stated firmily, his eyes filled with the look of a genuinely love smitten fool. “I never thought it possible, but you my fiery angel are the definition of beauty, you’re so beautiful it’s almost hard to believe you’re human
Have you people not learned anything yet? xD
When you're thinking up a solution to a problem, you need to consider the ways in which things could go horribly wrong. Actions which are fueled by the best intentions don't always lead to the best results.

Is now really the best time for the Song Knights to start turning on each other? From a player perspective it'd be organized, but from a character perspective is it really a good idea to start pointing the finger at certain individuals and start 'chewing' them out? xD
Talking to the crowd is also a risky move, as upset people usually don't like being lectured to. An apology could work, but what's Mary going to say? "Sorry, I didn't know that riding a meteorite into town could cause trouble?" xD
Hmm, I would like to point out that Randar specifically prevented a rampage that would lead to peoples deaths by calming everyone down... and I thought it would take more then that to kill the Behemoth.

Going to agree with KoL that Randar's skill probably dampened things, but wouldn't be able to negate panic completely. Two points of consideration are...

Quantity: There's just too many people. If it were calming one or two I'm sure it'd be well within his power range, but if he can calm an entire crowd of people you might as well just throw him out to the front lines of every war and have the soldiers make love, not war~ xD

Quality: If people were panicking over burnt toast or something, I could imagine things being a lot easier. But when death was staring you in the face only moment's prior, it's a bit harder to soothe. Also I imagine that the ability would be less effective if the hostility is directed at Randar himself. Sort of imagine it as two people brawling, and one of them going "Hey man, calm down" .... it doesn't work, and if anything inflames the situation.

Furthermore the profile states that the power "Soothes"
This means that it's a balance scale situation where there'll be a competition between the soothing power, and the contempt. It's perfectly possible for one to overpower the other, and it goes both ways.

Just my thoughts, I don't really care since I'm a fair distance away from the ruckus xD
Actually like that actions result in consequences. It's great that people played hero and went along with things, but at the same time it's important to know that doesn't always result in positive results :P
Hooray!
It'll be 3 or 4AM for me when you're done... but going to stick around anyway :P
Also... if there's a despair route is there a Harem route?
And more importantly is there a Yandere Sienna route? x3
That's up to the individual player. You can discuss with others in the OOC if your characters know each other or not.

Sort of get the feeling there'll be less inconsistencies if we were that out now, rather than as we go.
But that's just me.

Don't really have any particular preferences in regards to whether people know Shakrais or not. Like Mary I suppose he stands out for being an oddball, but since he won't ride meteorites one could say he's eclipsed by Madness-Girl.

As for who Shakrais knows, I'm going to go with the default of him not knowing anyone. Actually think it might be funny if he were to act as if he'd never met someone, when they'd been pretty close to him.
Shakrais: "Nice to meet you"
Person: "What do you mean, we shared a dorm together last year"
Shakrais: "Did we? My dearest apologies, I was born with this condition to forget dreary little drabs such as yourself"

If anyone thinks they could come up with a interesting relationship between the two though, I'm not averse to some back-scenes planning... in fact I'd love to have something to do >_<

@McFazzer
Would be funny if we had school-faction based fighting in the tournament.
"On the left we have Capella, and coming from the right we have Cresc... wait, one person?" xD
Kidding of course, doubt that'll happen, and even if it did you'd have an army of disposables on your side~

As long as our one Crescendo doesn't drop out we should be fine.
The rest of us... we're expendable! xD
Haven't heard from @Alina13 in awhile.
And watching @BurningCold and @Deadnaut (or rather lack of) is making me super wary of ever trying a collab post for this roleplay xD Or should we be bracing ourselves for a full length college paper post soon?

Either way, I'm going to sit here twiddling my thumb until I have something to do x3

I'm starting to hope the baby will end up dead. xD
How is it that everyone on the scene;
- Looks up
- See's Mary
- See's the Baby
- And then goes.... oops, Behemoth.
I'm going to have to start giving out free cookies to whoever doesn't notice the Baby. xD

Since there seems to be a fair amount of "Oh no, not Mary again" going on, I decided to add Schools to the chart I'm working on and.... well.... No one seems to like the Wolfgang Alliance (Crescendo) xD

Bach-Crescendo: (6/16)
Darrel, Victor, Aura, Moros, Ueno, Isabelle

Chopin-Cappela: (8/16)
Claudia, Farrah, Cass, Mary, Shakrais, Josiah, Zachary, Randar

Wolfgang-Crescendo: (1/16)
... Just Taytay :(

Anyway! This brings me to my question of, how familiar are students supposed to be with one another? Everyone already seems to be acknowledging Mary, and that's not surprising considering how Mary tends to stand out xD But what about the reverse? Is Mary supposed to recognize the other 7 from Chopin-Cappela? Or is that up to individual players?

Essentially, are the schools big enough for people to not recognize one another?
