Name: Scarlett Mayweather

Nicknames: Scar or Letti, but usually just Scarlett

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Scarlett is 5'6" with a slender but toned build. She is rarely seen out without her leather jacket, beanie hat, and sunglasses.

Personality: Scarlett generally is a bit of a loud-mouth, always having something to say and speaking her mind. She is very independent, because she grew up taking care of herself since her dad didn't really want to have much to do with her. She is stubborn to the extreme. Scarlett is kind to pretty much everyone, she just doesn't let anyone get too close or see inside her hard, protective, exterior shell. She has an issue with guys trying to get closer to her as anything more than a friend in particular, ever since her boyfriend, who she trusted, turned out to be a demon who tried to kill her. Scarlett is also very protective of those who can't take care of themselves. Though Scarlett is fairly new to working as a hunter at Ravenwood she has exceeded all expectation other hunters had of her, and is quickly becoming quite the skilled fighter. Though she has a soft, fearful side, pretty much no one ever sees it, because she hides it under a tough exterior to prevent herself from ever feeling vulnerable or weak again.

Other: When she's really mad she tends to get really quiet instead of yelling. If she has nothing to say, generally a storm is brewing internally.
Fell had to go to bed because he has work in the morning! Blegh! >.< But he wanted me to let you all know that we will actually be heading to the D'finn nest first, and then the sheriff's station!
Haha did you base this RP off of the anime Psycho-Pass? If not you should check it out because it has a very similar concept!

Jenna paused, her eyes going blank for a moment. She could sense that something was distressing or frustrating Rose. Ever since Rose was a little girl Jenna had been able to tell when Rose was upset or something was wrong. It seemed that whenever Rose became distressed enough she subconsciously projected her feelings over large areas, but only to those she was extremely close to, that she had opened up to even though Rose didn't realize what she was doing. As far as Jenna knew, she was the only one who could feel Rose's feelings of worry and stress, but she supposed that Roland may be able to feel the slightest tinge of Rose's emotions considering how close they had become over the last few years. It had taken Jenna years to realize that it was Rose subconsciously projecting her emotions that had caused Jenna to occasionally feel random waves of unexplainable feelings. Jenna was willing to bet that even if Roland ever did end up feeling any of Rose's subconscious projections, he probably wouldn't have any clue what they were or where they were coming from. Jenna glanced back at Will. "Please excuse me, Will! I need to go deal with Rose, but I'm sure I'll see you around," Jenna said, before turning and walking towards the shop. "Rose, what's going on? Are you okay?" Jenna asked Rose through their passive telepathic channel.

-Rose-
Rose was not happy to say the least. She rolled her eyes when Connor seemed to make the suggestion that she couldn't take care of herself. Rose was concerned to hear about the D'finn "child" that had gone missing, but at the same time she didn't really understand how her going to the nest would help anything. At very least, Rose had expected Roland to take her side, so when he agreed with Connor her eyes went wide in surprise. The surprised look didn't last long before her eyes narrowed to give Roland a frustrated and slightly confused look. "What the hell Roland? You know the D'finns don't want me anywhere near their nest, and that I am more than happy to comply. I don't belong there. I'm not going, and you can't make me." She half growled and half groaned at Roland telepathically, as stubborn as ever. Rose glanced from one person to another in the diner, and as she glanced at Kira, she realized her scowl could be perceived as displeasure about her return to Arryn. Rose wiped the look of frustration from her face and smiled at Kira, but it was obvious she was still internally pissed off. "Sorry about that glare, Kira. I'm glad you're back! I swear the glare was never intended for you, just these boys driving me insane," Rose spoke through slightly gritted teeth, though it became obvious she was gritting her teeth is a comical, joking manner as she rolled her eyes and let out a little huff of a breath.
Rose paused for a second as she heard Jenna telepathically asking her what was wrong. She quickly explained how Connor wanted her to go to the D'finn nest, and why. Rose was assuring Jenna that she need not worry because she wouldn't be going, especially since Kira had offered to hang out with her, when Jenna cut her off. Jenna demanded that Rose go, and would not here a word against it. As the conversation proceeded the frustration rapidly returned to her face. When Jenna wouldn't hear a word more, Rose finally agreed since she really had no choice.
Rose snapped out of her own little world and addressed Kira. "Thanks Kira, but for some reason unbeknownst to me, Jenna is demanding I go. You know how Auntie J gets when she demands something, there is absolutely no changing her mind. So I guess we're stuck with these goofballs for a while," Rose joked, putting on a goofy frustrated smirk in an attempt to hide the extent of the inner turmoil she felt when she contemplating going to the D'finn nest.
Haha it's all good! Rose is my main character, and I think I'm going to make Jenna mostly a supporting character who just pops in as needed
Gisk, do you want to come to the D'finn nest with the majority of us, or stay with Jenna? I'll wait to post so I can accommodate accordingly in my post!
Interest ;)
Haha I feel you on the tipsy writing! I was rereading one of my posts I made while the slightest bit tipsy and realized I made a ton of typos lol

Jenna chuckled softly when Will mentioned daywalkers and the sun, shaking her head as she laughed quietly. As the topic turned back to Mary's death and the pain and fear it was causing the D'finn nest and the rest of the community, Jenna's visage sobered. "It is hard and fear-inducing to lose someone we all care about, especially someone as strong and resilient as Mary. I honestly have no idea, but I intend to find out who or what did this before anyone else can be hurt, and then I intended to end it," Jenna said in a cold tone, her face turning to a rare expression of anger.
Jenna was one of the sweetest, most caring little old ladies you would ever meet, and generally was always happy and loving towards everyone; but when someone messed with the people and town she loved, a rare glimpse of an angry, and quite honestly frightening, Jenna sometimes could be seen. At that moment, Will would have been able to see that terrifyingly angry look. When Jenna realized that she was letting the anger that was boiling inside her show on the surface, she took a deep breath and cleared her expression. Jenna reached out and tenderly patted Will's shoulder and in her usual kind and soft voice said, "I'm sorry about that Will. I let the anger get the best of me for a second there, but I know that anger won't bring Mary back, or stop whatever did this. I find that even in my old age, I still get fired up and think my pure fury will defeat anything that hurts those I love, but you and I both know that if this thing was able to kill Mary, then rushing in blindly with fury blinding our eyes will only get us killed as well. I figure until we figure out who or what did this and a plan, we best continue our lives. Would you like to come by the soda shop for a drink or something to eat?"

-Rose-
Rose walked behind the counter and started turning everything on as Connor talked to her. "Haha, well I'm sorry anyways. In my head I'm about six feet tall, but in reality my legs are so short I practically have to jog everywhere just to keep up with everyone," Rose joked light-heartedly. "One cream soda with mango ice cream coming right up," She assured, while smiling lightly back at him and starting to pulling out the ingredients she need to make his order.
Rose delicate hearing picked up the sound of the buzzing as the phone rang, and started looking around for the source for a second. When Connor pulled out the phone a deep pink shade brushed across Rose's cheekbones as she blushed out of embarrassment at her confusion over something as silly as a cellphone. Rose shook her head slightly, trying to rid her thoughts of the embarrassment. Rose took the money from him, and then continued making his order. She glanced up at him occasionally as he talked, curious about what he was talking about, but knowing she shouldn't get involved. The D'finn heads didn't like her enough as it was, so the last thing she needed to do was get involved in their business or mess with the nephew of the head of the D'finns.
By the time he got off the phone Rose had his order ready. "Of course!" Rose replied to his request. She pulled out a to-go cup and transferred the contents over. Rose was handing the cup Connor the cup when he started talking about Rose being a D'finn and coming to the D'finn nest with him. She froze for a second, her eyes piercing into his in confusion and distrust, before she gave a single quiet huff of a sarcastic laugh and set his cup and change down on the counter in front of him. "I don't like them? You're kidding, right?" Instead of letting him answer she shook her head, put her hands on her hips as she decided better than to go down that road, and started talking again. "I'll be fine here by myself, no one will mess with me. I know when I'm not wanted somewhere, and the D'finn nest is definitely one of those place. Anyways, why should I trust you? I barely know you. Why would you even want me to go with you? Besides, I can't just close the shop when customers are probably going to be stopping by at any moment," Rose retorted. Just as she was talking about customers the bells on the door chimed the arrival of said customers, only further backing up her point.
When Rose realized it was Roland she took a deep breath of relief and relaxed. Rose didn't even realize she had become so uptight, flustered, frustrated and nervous in the moment until she relaxed. The relief was apparent in her features and the way she held herself once Roland arrived. Rose recognized after a second that a girl had entered with Roland. The girl looked really familiar, but Rose felt like she hadn't seen her in a while. After another second of deliberation, Rose placed the face as Kira- a lycan who had left the country for a while to train with extended family.
-Rose-
Rose slipped past the other people who were walking down the sidewalks, keeping her brisk pace up. Measuring in at a slight 4'11" Rose knew she would probably be beat by potential customers to the Soda Shop, even with her brisk pace. With that in mind, Rose picked up her pace even more, weaving through small groups of people as she jogged down the street. Finally she made it to the Soda Shop. The first thing she noticed was that, as she had suspected would happen, she had been beaten to the building. She recognized the lucky soul sitting on the curb as one of the D'finn and Vida kin, named Connor. "Sorry about the wait! Auntie J is busy talking with a friend, but I can take care of you," Rose addressed Connor, as she efficiently unlocked the front door, as she had a million times before. She slipped inside and held the door open for Connor, flicking on the lights while she was at it. "So what can I get for you?" Rose asked him, with a kind smile.
