It had been quite the trip for Maya and brought back a lot of memories from the service, but the setup here was completely different than anything she had encountered before. Aquatic weaponry, unknown weaponry she had never seen before. She had been a combat medics, but she knew bullets, and burns, broken bones, and split arteries. She could fix these things, but how was she supposed to saves soldiers lives from these new weapons, much less perform combat life saving techniques. She raised her hand. “Sir as a combat medic, do we have some new techniques or gear to use to save the lives of soldiers in the fields from this… Magitech weaponry? And if so what is the expected time rate for learning these things, and who will be teaching it?”

Bio: Maya like many military veterans whoi joined Paracom was a highly decorated field soldier. Having spent 11 years of her life in the Navy as a Corpsman she had risen through the ranks quickly. She had been deployed several times for tours in combat zones with marines, and had undergone training to become a SARC (Special Amphibious and Reconnaissance Corpsman). This training would make her a natural choice to join Paracom. She did not transfer straight to Paracom from the navy though. It would be two years after she discharged honorably as a E8 that recruiters would come to her requesting her to join with their highly secret organization.
This was not a quick decision to be made though. Her life would be more at risk than ever and she would be gone for long periods of time. After a long talk with her at that time fiancee they split up and went their separate ways. She finished up all business she felt like needed to be addressed as she may not be returning. Contacting the recruiters who had come to her she agreed to join them to protect the world. She felt like it would be more worthwhile than even her entire military career.
Personality: Maya is a caring individual, but with a long streak of military action she will also do what is necessary to defeat any opposing force, while trying to make sure all her comrades get home. She is disciplined and strong willed, which matches her physical abilities as well. With a sharp mind she can quickly assess a situation as is necessary when being a combat medic to tell when there is too much danger to attempt to pull someone out of the fire so to speak, or who needs medical attention first.
