@Loony Yeah I can see where you're coming from. I've heard a lot of people complaining that the plot episodes don't happen often enough and I guess I assumed that was the popular opinion. I love the characters so the slice of life episodes don't bother me but eh. Personally I don't think the lore eps are too rushed, rather they sort of mirror real life. Big reveals often come when you're least prepared for them.
Hmm I haven't heard anything about internal disputes but I don't know how many more seasons the show really has left in it. I don't feel like the plot has a whole lot farther to go and a lot of people are getting sick of the slice of life episodes.
@Kronshi I'm really sorry Kronshi. I waited way too long to finally get my Spinel post up and in the end it wasn't enough to help save the RP. I appreciate all you did and hope to still see you around.
Boop new post is up. Chromite is way more talkative in this rp than she ever has been before.

@sassy1085 Hey it's alright, I totally get how that is and I appreciate you being so chill about all of this.
Chromite carefully pried herself down from the ceiling and gave a nod of approval to the two who had helped her. Pyrite, Moonstone. Thank you, that situation was less than becoming. Now, let's see what we can do. Chromite first approached Howlite. I appreciate you getting us here safely, Howlite. Try not to feel too bad about the ship. The maintenance Peridots should have known to double-check for something as important as an antigravity system that needed replacing, and would it have killed Sagenite to simply outfit us with a newer ship? Chromite reassured.

The ship likely sent out an automated distress signal during our descent, and as of now that's probably our best chance of leaving this planet, as any gem technology left here probably isn't compatible with current technology, as old as this ship is. I have no idea when the signal will reach Homeworld however. For the time being, we should probably focus on the mission at hand." Chromite said in response to Marry's suggestion.

Chromite climbed out of the ship and surveyed the area around it. Muck was seeping into the hole, and was beginning to bury the ship. Which at this point appears to be salvaging everything we can from the ship before it sinks! Everyone, please help me if you can. There may still be some equipment we can use inside, but most importantly we need to save the drill, we won't be able to complete our mission without it. Chrysoprase, you're the strongest, please stand at the top of this crater and wait for the rest of us to hoist it up."

@sassy1085 Changing her would probably be best thank you.
@sassy1085 I really appreciate your interest and I don't mean to offend however your characters will need some changes before we can let you play them. I don't really have any problems with Jet but we already have a player playing a Pearl who went to great lengths to make sure she would fit with the show's canon. I don't think a Pearl who has been sent there for any reason but to serve another gem who is there makes sense.

Also, it's okay if English is not your first language but your writing is a bit hard to understand.

@pyroman @loony Do you guys have anything to add?
@Loony That would be cool!
There's a new post for you all, I hope it's acceptable.
The ship continued to plummet towards Earth, now slowed due to Howlite's efforts. The antigravity system kicked back on for a brief moment but ultimately became non-functional. Now that the ship was in a vertical as opposed to horizontal position, the wind resistance also helped slow its descent.

Chromite was very relieved to see that there was another reliable defender in the form of Moonstone, who had managed to pull Paraiba Tourmaline to safety, and that the other gems on board were generally responsive to her order to seek cover. Ivory was one of the better positioned gems being stuck to the floor with her sand. Pyrite, too, helped assure Chromite with her quick response.

I'm terribly sorry, head scientist Moldsvite. Something must have gone wrong with the ship. Please try and stay safe under your shield until we reach the ground. Chromite said.

If Chromite had a heart it probably would have skipped a beat at seeing Chryosparse looking out the window with no apparent regard for the imminent danger. "Chryosparae, what in the universe are you doing?! Astro, Larimar, please focus your attention on protecting them if you can! I can answer any questions you have later!.

With any luck the two gems who had offered to use their abilities to help others would be able to act quickly, because the ship crashed about four seconds after she had made her request. Thankfully Howlite had managed to direct them into a marshy area. They landed with a great SPLOOSH and the ship simultaneously made waves and left a sizeable crater. The force was reduced enough that even the softer gems on board weren't in danger of any permanent damage, but the force threw Chromite upwards so hard that her tough body became embedded into the ship's ceiling.

After it was all over, Chromite spoke over the sound of the electrical currents of loose wires and a small fire that had started. Everyone, status report! Are any of you injured? Can... can anyone help me down?
