Heyyy, this looks pretty fun~. I like the idea of linking characters together, it opens up a lot of opportunities for awesome collaboration. Lot's of room for character development as well. I already have a character in mind, if the daggers are still up for the taking. If anyone wants to partner up, let me know~.
There we go. Short post, really busy.
Arianna shook her head, picking up the compass and slipping it in her pocket. "Well, I'm not sure I personally believe in anything like that," she stated. As far as religion went with her, she believed that people would choose their own fate, and something about letting a "God" decide it for her was pretty ridiculous, and kind of scary. "Anyways, I don't get lost in the forest very often, but this compass will be sure to help me out."

After drinking the last few drops of whiskey from her glass, she stood up and stretched her arms, the food in her belly makinhg her a little drowsy. Oh, what a night it was! Good food, new friend, very cool compass, and one heck of a laugh. "Well, I think it'd be best to head home, at least for me. You need someone to walk home with you? It's pretty dark out this time of year."
I'm dropping in from school to get a post up for you guys~.
Arianna smirked and crossed her arms, giving a nod towards Charlotte. She guessed that if she was living by herself in the forest to begin with, she must have been just have capable. "Well, even so, make sure you watch your step, alright?"

As soon as Arianna began to make more small talk, a new mysterious figure stood up from a nearby table, wrapped in a hooded cloak. Gee, what was with all the cloaks around here? She saw everyone seem to turn their attentions towards her, and even the focused Mayor Dink was swayed by the new face. Then, just as the room grew quiet, and the figure stood in front of the band, silencing them by just her mere presence, it would seem that the next logical course of action was to tear off her cloak and reveal herself to the Inn as a beautiful, powerful-looking female who was up to something very, very important.

And tear off her cloak she did to reveal but a child, but barely past double digits in age.

If it wasn't for the aura that she possesseed to capture the audience, Arianna would have been bent over, laughing her poor head off at the small child. As soon as her excited speech ended, which added to the comedy of the situation, she felt a small pressure on her lap. A small box, just materializing from thin air it seemed.

At that point the situation was all too much for her to contain. It started small and soft, a few chuckles, before the room started to pick up and she absolutely lost it. She picked up the box off of her lap to set it on the table so she could bend over in her chair to laugh.

It took a good solid and enjoyable minutes for her to stop, righting herself and wiping a tear from her eyes. "Well, how about it! Looks like it was some kid goofing off in the woods after all!." She looked over to Charlotte, who had opened her box to find another cloak for her. Truly, it must have been a new fashion trend. She never understood young girls and their one-foot tall heels and so on.

Arianna went to retrieve her box from the table, curiously finding it instead in her lap again. She eyed the thing, cautiously opening it, eventually shaking the caution away once she found what was inside. She held the beautiful, well made golden compass in her hands, examining it closely in the light of the Inn. "Well, would you look at that..." She set the compass in the center of the table for Charlotte to see. "Now how do you suppose miss 'Harvest Goddess' got a hold of something like this?"
*ahem*

Sorry for my absence guys! I've been at my grandmother's house for New Years and stayed a little longer than I had thought I would. I make it a point not to use my technology with her. I'm back now though and I'll get a post up real soon~~~.
Arianna laughed off the curt response by her conversation partner, taking another sip of her whiskey. "Well, if you are, then it's nice to meetcha~." She smiled warmly as she spoke, hoping it would infect the newcomer. "I'm Arianna, by the way. I own a little woodcutting shop a little ways in Gnarlwood. If you ever need something built, I'm your gal."

As Charlotte introduced herself, Arianna was surprised to find that she was living all by herself. She looked to be not much older than a high school student. She decided not to pry at her age, asking instead about where she lived. "Yeah, isn't the forest beautiful? Especially this one. You picked just the right area to live." As Arianna began to get lost in describing the various typees of trees, gushing about how spectacular they were here, how they were more healthy than any other she had ever seen, a recent event had popped in to her mind. Recently she had spotted a sketchy visitor milling around the forest. She couldn't tell what she was doing or why she was there, but it was certainly unnerving to have a stranger in the woods. "Hey, between you and I forest dwellers. I've seen some creepy looking person stalking around near my shop in the woods. It's probably just some kid looking around, but I'm getting bad vibes about it. So just in case you see anyone odd looking around your house, take care for me, yeah?"
Hey Rune, does Charlotte ever go out hunting for ingredients for her potions? I thought of doing a small reference to that, saying that Arianna would have seen some creeper milling around the forest.
@Bassummoner Perhaps cross that bridge when you get to it. For example, if anyone does decide to drop in just describe what's on the shelf. Get creative~. Then with character knowledge they'll start ordering usualls or something like that.
"Awright, food! Thank you, miss!"

Arianna wasted no time tearing up her plate. She carved up her meat, nibbled her corn, demolished her potatoe, and any onlookers barely saw a flash of green on her plate before she plopped it in her mouth. Needless to say, she had completely finished her plate within mere minutes, leaning back in her chair, her hands resting on her stomach, pleased with the taste of the food and the feel of a full belly.

"Oh yeah, that's the stuff..." Arianna would often visit the Greenleaf Lodge at least twice a season to fill up on good food. She herself could not cook to save her life, and would otherwise have to settle for the large supply of Instant Ramen that she had brought with her. She could stand them, but bland cardboard-flavored noodles sitting in a broth of water and powder for all three meals of the day could certainly get old.

And now, for some socializing! It was a party after all, and what's a party without meeting some new faces. And one girl in particular caught her eye: A new face in town by the looks of it. She was dining on a juicy, delicious looking roast (admittedly, Arianna had noticed the food on the woman's plate before he actually saw the girls face), and sipping on a glass of tea. She looked pretty dainty and fragile, seemingly not cut out for the country life of Sugar Pine. And to add to the oddities... Was that a cloak she was wearing? Well hey, to each their own.

Arianna nodded, standing up with her small glass of whiskey, leaving her belongings and empty plate unattended to return to later. As she walked to the new faces table, she took a sip of her drink for good luck before sitting down across from her, leaning over the table so her voice could possibly be heard a little more clearly. "Well hey there! Excuse me if I'm wrong, but you look like a new face in town."
