Superhumans

[center]Basic World Information[center]

This is an original universe. There is no Marvel, DC, or other Comic and Manga universes already present, though I reserve the right to cameo canons from franchises.

Earth standard technology, with a few sci-fi elements for civilians, while military personnel and Emergency Responders have tech that is more forwards in time due to the Super Humans.

Prejudice is rampant for any visible Super, and gets heaped on known Supers that look like normal humans as well.

Villiany is not uncommon, and as such, Supers tend to get much higher levels of scrutiny than standard humans due to the higher level of dangers present when a Super goes criminal.

The reason for Super’s is unknown, and while research is done into the causes of Supers (they only showed up a generation or so previously), Science has no answers yet that the normal person would know of.

Information will be added as it is revealed in the Role-Play itself.

Autumn gave Ley a bright smile. “Well then, I guess that’s one presentation I can’t miss, even if most of it will probably fly right over my head,” she told Ley with a giggle, beginning to lead the way down the paths.

The paths wove through the forested area, the canopy filtering through soft, golden shafts of sunlight onto the shady path. Autumn was leading the way expertly, taking a few twists and turns, and keeping them on the smaller trails, not taking the larger, well-worn paths.

"Unifying theory? Isn't that something about how even non-intelligent beings like cats, monkeys, and manticores have magic?" Autumn asked curiously. "You have evidence to prove it?" Her tone wasn't incredulous, or condescending, or anything negative. Autumn sounded surprised more than anything as she looked over at Ley.

Yeah. I'll have the thread up with the rules, and Post Zero up by Tuesday at the latest, then all the Approved characters can go in the character section and the OOC and IC portions will be up. :) Sorry about the wait for that. Real life can be evil and writing Post Zeros is almost as bad. :P

Autumn giggled at Ley's comment on her being memorable, and actually full out laughed as the unicorn mentioned the convention and tips. "The tips are real good, but whenever a convention or conference comes through the Resort, we tend to really earn those tips," Autumn explained, eyes sparkling mischievously. "Those events can bring some real... interesting, ponies." There was the sense that 'interesting' was not the word that Autumn really wanted to go with. "I am looking forward to the conference for other reasons though. There are also plenty of ponies that are interesting in a good way." They exited the building onto a small mountain path that had trees overhead, with soft, golden light filtering through the holes in the foliage above. "I'm assuming you're looking forward to it. Are you presenting something?" she asked curiously, smiling cheerfully.

Player Characters are limited to superhumans/mutants and Fantasy elements will be limited, if at all, however, so Wizards are highly unlikely. Aliens, though? We'll have to see.
