Just thought I'd throw together a list of things I'd be interested in roleplaying. I will play a male character no matter the setting, and I will only focus on playing one character.
MxF only for romance, though romance is not required. And if it does occur it will take a backseat to action.
Also, there is generally a good amount of gritty action in my RPs.
Star Wars: Specifically looking to play as: Sith/Jedi/Mandolorians during the Old Republic. Clone Troopers during the Clone Wars, and Bounty Hunters during any time period.
RWBY: Specifically looking to play as: OC Hunter trainees. Graduated OC Hunters. I'm not looking for a "high school" style Beacon drama. It would be a darker version of the show, with the Grimm and White Fang being a much bigger threat to Humanity than in the show.
Also interested in playing as Roman Torchwick (you would play as Neopolitan), taking place after Roman is "eaten" in Season 3, they both escape only to find that Cinder has decided she has no further use for them and attempts to have them assassinated. The bulk of the RP would follow them on the run from Atlas/Vale and Cinder's Gang/White Fang.
Fantasy: Any sort of generic fantasy will do.
Percy Jackson: Not a huge fan of the series itself but I like the premise. We'd be playing as OCs on a fairly long quest.
Warcraft, Wrath of the Lich King: Taking place in Northrend, our characters would part of either the Horde or Alliance's first group of soldiers dispatched to the frozen land.

Terran felt content to sit back and listen to the Orc and Laurencia bicker, he honestly found it entertaining. Almost as amusing as Cia's reaction to the drink Gun'tar had so "generously" purchased for her. He figured it was a far cry from the usual affair for her.
He cared not for honor and glory in battle, though Terran would take a life if he was forced, and he didn't feel he would have too many problems with it. "Killing out of necessity and killing to please some deceased "ancestors" who've rotted in the ground years ago are quite different situations. You'll forgive us if we don't value the opinions of the long dead." he states with a shrug.
Drumming his fingers on the table as he thought over the new arrival's offer, he couldn't really find anything wrong with extra support. "It's a good offer, I'm a bit curious as to why he wants to head that way enough to fund our little band, but if he won't say then I don't really care either way."
