Alright, here's what I've got, and pay attention because I won't be repeating myself and any changes that need to be made are non-negotiable.

I will edit this post as we go along so always come back here to look at the situation report on characters.

Andrei Pasternak - My character, don't see why I'd need to approve myself, but he could use some touching up, which I will do eventually.

Raid-Bot: Approved

Esmeralda: This first part isn't the most important, but you don't have to point out that she is 'short' if you've already given the height, and neither do we need the clarification of 'just Esmeralda'. I'm sure we could figure it out for ourselves, let's keep it a bit more professional.

Second, I'm not so certain about the 'sharp shooting' abilities of an Uzi and a handgun, the only sharp shooting you'll be able to do with those is at close range. If close range is what you meant, then clarify.

Malcolm Crowley: Approved

Fallan: Approved

Rudy Rodgers: Approved.

Henry Direson: Approved.

Vincent James Clarke: Approved.

John Bridger: Approved

France Kota: The only reason I'm approving this character despite the completely made up information regarding North Carolina and this Kannon City is because it is well-written and doesn't have a big impact on our story. This is the only time I'm letting this happen, any further character info has to come from the lore in the Information Post or the official lore, no exceptions.

That goes for all of you.

Sophia Quilla: Approved

Sarah Sinclair: Approved.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And for fuck's sake, stop using art from other games as a reference for your character. The picture for Henry is from Dirty Bomb, and the one for Sarah is clearly a female rendition of the TF2 Sniper. It may only be two of you that have done this so far but I don't want to see any more of it. Unless you drew the pictures yourself (and have proof that you did) keep it out of here.

I still need to finish the information post. The GM and I have both been busy. We're also waiting on one person who may or may not be joining us.

This will start soon, we won't wait on this other person forever. I need to read over the characters again and I will be making an approved characters section.
"Ghouls are immune to most forms of radiation that still remain in the Wasteland. Radiation poisoning cannot get worse for the ghouls, though it can hasten the process of decay and lead to their decline into the feral state as described above. However, many ghouls report feeling healthier when exposed to low-level radiation, and thus make their homes near locations with acute background radiation. The ghouls known as "glowing ones" actually enjoy large amounts of radiation, which they describe as being "comfortably warm." They are even healed by it." - Sincerely, verified information.

Jason Bright is a non-feral glowing one likely because he was exposed to just enough radiation to make him a glowing one, but not in such a huge amount that it turned him feral. This was a result of low-level radiation, and the glowing ones that do enjoy higher levels are not regularly experiencing 2000 Rads per second, they would be more in the realm of 10-15 Rads per second.

Ghouls are not some magical species of superhuman that can survive every kind of radiation the world throws at them. They are living things, and even if those living things gain an advantage from being in the presence of some radiation, their organs and nervous systems would be completely destroyed by the levels described in the river.

Do not post character sheets in OOC.

@Pripovednik

Any such 'sub characters' we will make up as we go, just like in any other story.

@Xartarin

A low amount of radiation allegedly leaves some ghouls feeling "healthier". However, with the insanely high levels in the river, a ghoul would certainly go feral, and be turned into a 'glowing one'. The Mississippi is about a half mile wide (or 800 meters) in most places, assuming that a ghoul could swim that far through strong currents, they'd be absorbing 2000 rads per second at the least while in the water.
@Xartarin

We aren't exactly close to the beginning of this RP, and we are still open.

We don't have a real limit to the number of people we're going to allow in, unless of course we start racking up a ridiculous amount. Personally I hope that doesn't become the case. The more people we get, the more groups there are going to be that are doing their own thing.

A roving band of 9 or 10 random fuckers from all walks of life doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and can get chaotic with all of those characters having different personal motives. So naturally we aren't all going to be in the same place at once all of the time.
@He Who Walks Behind

First off, the Unamerican Activities Force are absolute masters of countering deception. Their ancestors routed communists, and proceeded to pass down every espionage tactic known to man. The second they see this woman carrying around a machete gladius they will put two and two together and without any warning she will receive a .50 MG round between the eyes. Even if carrying a gladius seems like a trivial reason to kill someone, they don't ask questions or take chances, and the gladius is the signature weapon of the Legion.

Second, the Legion, and Caesar himself, specifically forbid women from fighting. Men in the Legion are wholly misogynistic, and degrade every woman under their rule as sub-human. Even if she had demonstrated an ability to execute all of those weaklings, she would be nailed to a cross for interfering and that would be that. No man loyal to Caesar or the Legion would even consider using a woman for any kind of combat or spying role, period.

And speaking of ability, an untrained woman fighting back Brotherhood of Steel members and violent tribals? That would be breaking the rules of the RP (can't be born good at something, or be good at something without training). Brotherhood members in power armor alone would absolutely slaughter those tribals and the Legion, especially if the men in her tribe were weak. Even with training, she would be dead right along with them.

Bottom line, we aren't going to be making any special snowflake exceptions to the lore of the Legion just to make this happen, and even if we did, she would be dead as soon as the UAF got a look at her.
@Viscerous No immediate complaints.
This wouldn't be a proper fallout adventure without vaults, it's as simple as that.

I wouldn't be the one doing the world building if I didn't know what needed to be known. Almost everything in the information post is made up; I don't see why vaults would ever need to be an exception.

Plus, it's not like this hasn't happened before, there's another wiki somewhere that was created specifically for Fallout roleplaying and they have a Vault 199. Fortunately, we aren't going off of that.
There is a new section regarding vaults that exist in our RP.
There is one thing I do need to address.

It may seem trivial, but it's important to learn the difference, years of Hollywood and video games getting it wrong have ruined the terminologies.

@Pripovednik Two things, the war was in 2077, our RP takes place in 2285, unless your character has been ghoulified, there's no way they could have been around "when the fire and pain came" and still be alive at the current time. Second, originally I was going to need you to get rid of one of those guns, since starting off with three firearms (especially a suppressed sniper rifle) is kicking your character a few notches above all of the others currently submitted, but we don't currently have a marksman character so right now I'm willing to let it slide. That may change, depending on how our character set looks in the coming days, so just be aware. If it comes down to it I'd prefer that you got rid of either the marksman carbine or the pistol.
