Hey guys, I won't be able to join the RP. I tried to think of a replacement for my character's powers, but it was simply taking too much away from what he is. Best of luck!
Sounds cool.
I can replace the demon summoning stuff with another power that thematically fits his character, but I don't really want to leave him with just the metamorphosis. It's not something that I want him to use often. (He doesn't just get powers when he transforms, he literally lets a malignant entity take the wheel.) So I'm alright with scrapping the demon summoning but I want him to have something else to use when he's not using his trump card.

There was also the "sacrifice" aspect of the power I really liked. I wanted Luke to give more and more of himself in order to save others.

I'd like to think of a power that is both demonic in nature and requires sacrifice, but I really can't think of anything else.

If it's an issue of my character not being mentally scarred enough, I can fix that instead.
No clue why, but my formatting tags are not working. Some of the indentation is fine, but other ones are just not working no matter how many times I try to fix them haha.
Here's my CS, it's a work in progress but most of it is done:

*Pics and Alias coming soon, maybe*

Full name
Luke Evans

Age.
16

Gender
Male

Physical appearance
There’s not much that stands out about Luke. He has an average build and height, and tends to wear long-sleeved shirts and jeans. With messy brown hair, he gives off a lazy look.

Personality
At first glance, Luke seems like a pretty boring kid. He doesn’t do a whole lot with his free time, and has no ambition to do anything with his life. But he is pretty friendly, and tries to see the best in everyone, no matter who they are. Beneath his low-energy and carefree attitude, Luke is a very selfless individual. He’s willing to go to great lengths to help others, even if his help is not asked for. He can throw himself in harm’s way at the drop of a hat just to make sure that someone else gets to be safe. While he usually doesn’t stand up for himself, he can get pretty serious and heated when it comes to standing up for others.

Even though he knows it wasn’t his fault, Luke holds himself somewhat responsible for killing his mother. In order to distance himself from the demon within him, he attempts to be the best person he can be. Even if it means recklessly endangering his life for others.

Biography/Background history
Luke’s mother, Mary Evans, had runaway from home in her teens. She was already on the road for over a year when she got pregnant, and the father left the picture almost instantly upon hearing the news. With little money and no one to turn to, she tried to abort the baby multiple times, but failed. When Luke was born, she thought that either the baby’s survival was a blessing, or a sign that it was cursed.

Unable to take his life, Mary tried to abandon Luke numerous times, but she failed over and over again. She tried to leave it in a park, but a stranger helped bring Luke back to Mary. She left it in a mall, and a security guard brought him back to her. Finally, when Luke was 9, Mary left Luke in a graveyard, and told him to stay there until the sun went down. A day later, Luke had found his way back to her, all on her own.

This caused Mary to have a breakdown. Convinced that the baby really was cursed, she turned to the occult. A few years later, in a desperate attempt, she settled on exorcizing Luke herself, even though Luke had acted like a normal kid in his whole life (aside from surviving multiple abortion attempts and always finding his way back to his mother).

It’s impossible to say what went wrong with the ritual. Maybe Mary had drawn one of the sigils with a crooked line instead of a straight one, maybe the red candles were unevenly spaced, or maybe she mispronounced a part of the incantations. Whatever it was, the ritual backfired, and the effects were disastrous. A demon took control of Luke, and twisted his body into a ghoulish figure. It tore Mary into ribbons, clawing her into bits with vicious abandon. When it was done with her, it lit the house on fire, and got outside.

Perhaps it had been there all along, and the poorly executed ritual had merely awakened it. Or perhaps the ritual had been performed so badly, that it had invited a demon into Luke’s body. Even Luke didn’t know what the truth was. To this day, he still doesn’t know.

Luke woke up on the streets shortly after, before the firefighters had even shown up. He was back to his human form now, but he felt sick. He remembered everything, even tearing his own mother apart with his claw-like hands, but he hadn’t been able to control an inch of his body at that time.

When the officials arrived, Luke turned himself in and told them everything that had happened. No one believed his story, but the blood on his clothes at least confirmed that he had killed his mother. The police thought that he was just a troubled kid who had attacked his mother and burned the house. He was thrown into a juvenile detention centre for a few years, a school for minors like him. Luke accepted this. To him, it was necessary for him to be locked up. He may not have been responsible for killing his mother, but he was dangerous.

A few years later, he got moved to a much bigger prison with “superhumans”. It seemed that someone bought his story after all, and realized that he needed to be held in a much stronger cell.

Now, Luke is 16 years old, and has made up his mind. The past 6 years of his life was spent meditating and communing with demons and the dead. He feels confident that he can control his powers. Luke is confident enough that maybe, he can use his curse to help others.

Powers
Although he can not perform any occult magic, Luke can summon demons. Every time a demon is beckoned into reality, it asks for a price (a sacrifice). Usually, Luke will stab himself in the hand and offer his blood, and that will satisfy lesser demons. To summon truly powerful demons, a much greater sacrifice may be needed. Aside from talking to demons, Luke can also commune with the dead.

In dire cases, Luke’s body will turn into that of a fiend. He will turn into a very tall and slender looking figure, with a sickly pale complexion and long claws. Strength, speed, and cunning are the traits of this ghoulish predator. In this form, Luke’s “body” is no longer his own, but is under the control of the demon within him. While it is capable of making intelligent decisions, the fiend is hostile towards all.

Weaknesses
Luke is nothing special in his human form, and he’s not willing to turn into his fiend form unless no other options are available. All of his summoning abilities come with a price that he has to pay, and the price climbs according to the power of the entity he is summoning.

Killing is an absolute last resort for him. His kindness can also be taken advantage of if one were so inclined.

Miscellaneous information
Since he usually stabs his left hand to summon a demon, Luke wears bandages over it to cover all of the wounds.

No problem.

I call dibs on the superpower involving summoning demons, turning into a fiend, and talking to ghosts. Working on a CS right now.
I think Cuccoruler wants his character to be a gothic lolita. There are plenty of those images online. Maybe we can find one for him to have as his "main picture" while he keeps his anime picture as his "secondary picture" in a hider? The GMs would probably be fine with that?

I found some gothic lolitas with blonde hair through some quick google image searches. Most of these are a bit too old to depict his character perfectly, but I'll post them here nonetheless.

Got room for one more?

If so, what are my options if I want to play as a good guy? This SCAR group seems to be giving me a bad feeling. I'm guessing they're the bad guys. Are the players meant to break away from them, or are we supposed to be playing the villians?
I won't be able to join this RP. Best of luck folks!
Thinking of a stealth character. Ex military or CIA guy. What do you guys think?
