Well, I guess this has died.
It was fun RPing with you all!
Juliette is going to love 'sampling' DNA from anyone who expresses interest in her... ehehehe.
Post coming up~
The journey to Yokohama port was a long and arduous one for Mrs. Suzume Delacroix. She was almost thankful that the family didn't own a car, for she could not imagine spending five hours in one with her daughter. At least in a bus, the presence of other people somewhat made her feel less lonely.

The middle-aged woman slid her blue eyes towards her silent companion. The fair-haired teenager sat primly beside her in her neatly pressed uniform, holding her stuffed rabbit close to her chest as she stared out the window. Her daughter had not spoken one word to her throughout the journey, and Suzume hadn't even tried striking up a conversation. She had long since given up trying to understand how Juliette's mind worked. She knew her youngest was different when she had first laid eyes on her in the operation theater. Golden hair, glowing eyes and the brightest of smiles... she had thought she had given birth to an Angel.

Only now, she wondered if she was actually a demon in disguise.

Suzume shook her head and made the sign of the cross. She was still a mother, and no matter how much her daughter sinned, it was her duty to love and protect her. But she was still human after all. She couldn't help wondering if she had angered God in some way and was being punished for it now.

"Okaasan..."

The woman jumped at the musical voice, turning to look down at her daughter with wide eyes. Had she really spoken to her? She couldn't tell because Juliette still had her head turned towards the window. "Y-Yes?" stammered Suzume.

"Do you think it will rain today? Usa-chan doesn't like getting wet."

Suzume glanced at the stuffed bunny, slightly shivering at the sight of its button-eyes. She knew it was ridiculous to be afraid of a toy, but she could never shake off the feeling that it was always watching her. In the past, she had tried to pry the doll off of Juliette, had even burned it once...but it had somehow always made its way back to the child.

"I...I don't think it will."

The duo was saved from further conversation by the bus gently rolling to a stop as it had finally arrived at its destination. Climbing out of the vehicle, Suzume wondered if they had truly arrived at the right place. Surely the large yacht floating in the harbor wasn't the one her daughter would be boarding?

Apparently it was, for Juliette calmly walked towards the yacht, approaching a middle-aged man and exchanging some words with him. Still reeling from shock, Suzume hadn't caught what had been said, but it seemed that her daughter was ready to leave. "Sayonara." Juliette waved impassively, already beginning to ascend the steps leading up to the yacht's deck.

"S-Sayonara..." was all Suzume could say as she watched her daughter disappear into the yacht. She knew she shouldn't, but she couldn't help feeling a little relieved, as if all the stress she had been enduring for the past seventeen years had suddenly disappeared with her.
It's okay! I won't tell anyone!

Mine's recycled too. I just changed her age and appearance. x3
*waves at Spawnling-senpai*

I debated on giving mine a French accent but I wouldn't be able to pull that off. XD

Name: Delacroix, Juliette

Date of Birth: 28, December, 1996

Gender: Female

Personality: A quiet and reserved individual, Juliette likes keeping to herself and lets very few people into her life. But those that do manage to wriggle their way in, gain her trust and loyalty. Others, however, tend to be intimidated by her because of her abilities. And rightly so, considering that she uses them to experiment pull pranks on people...just for some harmless fun of course.

History: Ancestors of the Delacroix family could be traced back to France, but after Juliette's great-great-great-grandfather moved to Japan, the family has lived there ever since. The current members of the family were well-known in the quaint town of Yawata, Japan for their kind, generous natures. Juliette's father was a priest, a well-respected man who had devoted his life to preaching, and her mother was equally as devout. When Juliette was born, she was raised with strict religious principles, however, she soon showed signs of being different from her family. Her parents noticed that she didn't seem as eager in the lessons her father tried to teach her as her siblings were, nor did she seem to like interacting with her family much. She was too quiet for a child and was often found spending time by herself instead of with other children. Little did they know that Juliette was actually practicing her magic in secret. She started with small things at first, like animating her dolls, and as the years passed she moved onto bigger things, honing her magic by herself by reading countless books to learn more about her abilities.

At school, her classmates were rather afraid of her and tended to avoid her after several weird incidents involving accidents that always seemed to happen around her. Of course, they were no accidents, as Juliette was exploring her abilities and needed 'test subjects'. The rumors surrounding her grew, and it didn't take long for her to become an outcast in the small town, shunned even by her family. The invitation to the Academy came as a pleasant surprise and she didn't hesitate in enrolling herself.

Subject: Magic, Alchemy, Fortune Telling, Exorcism, Biology, Chemistry, French.

Preferred Housing: Prominence

Unique Factor: Voodoo. With the usage of voodoo dolls, she can puppet a person's actions, inflict damage, curse them with ailments or even heal them if she wishes to. To do this, she must first acquire an object or some form of DNA from the person she wants to affect.
Double post. ._.
Thanks. I'm glad to see you guys are still active. I was afraid I had killed it. ><
The rain had finally stopped, grey clouds dispersing to reveal an orange sunset in the horizon. The tall iron gates at Primrose Terrace mysteriously closed shut, the statues guarding its entrance standing ever so vigilant in their posts, seemingly harmless to the normal eye. Nothing could get in or out without encountering the stone guards, their red glowing eyes sweeping over the garden for intruders.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, the young man's frantic movements made Kimiko look from one to the other in confusion. Claire seemed to think it had been all in good fun, but he looked too panicked for that to be the case. She tilted her head, trying to understand the situation. Why wasn't he talking anyway? Was he rendered unable to speak because of the other man? Kimiko turned to glare at said person, who looked more baffled than suspicious. Before she could ask him any questions, Claire casually pulled off her head, making the young man even more frightened.

"Uh, Claire, I don't think his head can be unattached like yours can," Kimiko told the Dullahan, glancing at the girl only when she had attached herself back. She still wasn't used to her so casually ripping her head off. It wasn't particularly gruesome, but it was still rather unsettling. Though, she had to admit that the byakko's reaction to it was hilarious. It wasn't that bad.

"Don't worry, she means no harm," said the Ame-Onna, trying to reassure the panicked young man. "She's only..." Her words died in her throat as he pulled down his sweater to reveal scarring around his neck. Kimiko's mouth formed into an 'o' as the reason for his silence finally dawned on her. The wounds didn't look fresh so his attacker couldn't have possibly been the other male. Perhaps what had transpired between them had simply been a misunderstanding. She couldn't clarify it though, for he had disappeared sometime when they had been preoccupied with Claire's re-attachable body parts.

All Kimiko could think was that she wasn't very well-equipped to deal with this. What did one possibly say in these situations? She didn't even know his name. She looked around for a means to communicate properly with him but couldn't spot any.

So, she blurted out the first thing she could think of when she looked down at her hands.

"Um... would you like some chips?"
So sorry guys. I've had a rough couple of days, but I've sorted stuff out for now. RL got in the way.
I'll get to posting in a bit. Also, I'll make it so that it's evening and things can get rolling again (if no one has to work anything out between their characters that is).
