Jub, pretending to Brutrumukk: Oh no, Jub, murder is fine, but setting fire to a RANDOM BRIDGE is WHERE I APPARENTLY DRAW THE LINE!
Brutrumukk: ... Okay, one, I don't sound like that and two, LISTEN HERE, YOU LITTLE SHIT-
Jub the Peculiar

Jub looked first surprised then extremely irritated when Brutrumukk disrupted his spell. After waving the minimized gnome off with his free hand, the goblin practically snarled, "Fine, fine! But don't come crying to me if we get caught because someone suddenly decided that arson was unacceptable!" He paused for a moment to look at his surroundings, focusing on the balloon the scarecrow has pointed out to him for before noticing the large - and somewhat derelict - building in between them. He quickly started to make his way around it.

I'll wait for at least one more person to respond.

Also, Vertigo, I hope you're prepared for the amount of sass Garrock is about to throw at you for daring to ask about his family.
If horrific stuff can exist in Domains of Delight, who's to say goofy things and fun Musical Numbers like Barnaby's aren't possible in Domains of Dread?

On the topic of musical Domains of Dread, I suddenly wonder why there has never been a Phantom of the Opera-inspired one.
If this happens, Jub will definitely have a more firm belief that Aurora is an Archfae in disguise with how she worded all this.

At this point, he'll at least think "Well, even if she is an Archfey, she seems to be on our side, at least for now"...

Which might actually be useful later on, because Aurora could use this belief to stop him from doing stupid things in the future.

Anyway, I will get a post up either today or tomorrow.
I'll wait for at least one other person to respond before I answer this time.

Also I love this:
"Is it, err, that obvious?" Rudrick with a small laugh as he set off down the corridor.

"Yep." Skobeloff replied blithely as he moved to follow the dragon.

Skobeloff can be so blunt sometimes.
Decided to put Rudrick's answer to Skobeloff's question just to keep this conversation flowing.
At Skobeloff's comment, Rudrick ducked his head slightly as if in embarrassment. "Is it, err, that obvious?" he said with a small laugh. He starts walking down the corridor, keeping his movements slow so the drakes can keep up with him. "Yes, I haven't really had the opportunity to speak with Garrock in quite some time. I've been trying to meet with him for a while, in fact, but he always seems to be otherwise occupied. I thought now would be a good time to try and clear the air as it were but, err..." He hesitates, and for a moment his cheerful demeanor falters. "I suppose he has just gotten back from a mission, and is probably very exhausted." There is a small strain in his voice as he speaks, betraying the slightest hint of frustration towards his sibling. However, he quickly tries to cover it up with a laugh. "Well, it's fine. I'm sure we'll get a chance to talk properly before he leaves."
That's the best feeling tbh! Much better than the reverse, which is also sadly common...

Would Fellwing know about the things Heliotrope is referring to, re: the festival and the political stuff?

Yup. The political stuff is the whole Rothscar succession crisis that was mentioned all the way back in the first IC post, and everyone knows about it.

And the Moonbeam festival is the largest festival for dragonkind, spanning five days (each one celebrating a different moon). Also Fellwing has probably heard a lot about it recently because one of the days has this big flying race that Kebros is noted for usually winning.
... and by a couple of days, I mean right now, apparently.

I don't know how I went from very tired and feeling like I couldn't write a post to... writing a post, but here we are.
