Headmaster Kirova ushered Aldric and Emilia out of his office, both of them getting what they wanted. Aldric saw this as a great success and made no argument or further conversation. They both left the office, shutting the large doors behind them. "Well Emilia, you have done a great service to the King of the Undead. Your loyalty shall not go unnoticed," he stated, talking to Mia. "Well, until next time," he said to her, headed towards the dorms. On his way there he noticed a young man holding a black flame in his hand. Something seemed extremely familiar about this person, but Aldric could not put his mind around whom it was. While walking through the halls he got many strange looks from other students because of his appearance: a giant, walking corpse dressed as a mad sorcerer king. If only these fools knew of true power, Aldric thought to himself.
Upon reaching his dorm room he opened the door, first noticing a large bed on one side and a bunk bed on the other. Someone had already made themselves comfortable on the top bunk. He had red hair, a red shirt, and wore a black suit over that. There seemed to be something on the boy's head, perhaps horns, but Aldric could not tell from this angle. He finally made his presence known to the kid, "Hello mortal, I am Aldric, King of the Undead. It seems you have the gift of foresight as you have left me the large bed. For that, you have my thanks. What shall I call you, young one?" He made his way over to the bed to have a rest and noticed all of his stuff was there by the bedside. Perhaps the headmaster is a somewhat powerful wizard, but still no match for me, thought Aldric.
