Excellent Failurex3 for R-networking

Grasping and pushing off from wall-handles at a brisk pace, Zhi watched the other tunnels as they trafficked along in a paranoid manner, unsure what to even expect from the meeting. Or how this man knew of their interest in the N-Live's recent psychosurgery "Breakthroughs". The whole way he grasped the handle of his pick tightly, certainly not designed to be a weapon but his experience with it and body's brawn could easily turn it into one.

<It's likely, but like Zoey said; that's why she's our plan B. Start thinking of a plan now incase this is a sting, shi?>
Looking around the hall confused, the sharknaut gave a shrug, then plucked the sheet of paper from the control panel, squinting at it confused. It took him a moment as if in deep thought with an awkward silence before he turned around, shutting the airlock behind him. "Someone left a note in Japanese... Says to meet a Katsurou at the Houngan district... How the fuck do the N.L. know we're here? How can they know what we're looking into? Did Tim fuck up!?"

Gathering his gear bag in a hurry and hefting up his mining pick again, Zhi re-fixed his rig's helmet on before pointing to the pair with two fingers and giving some orders through the tac-net.

<I don't know what this nerd wants, but it may be an opening... Zoey, follow from a distance, you're the hammer incase this goes to Gou shi...Ruby, follow me, we'll be the face for this. Come on...> The large Aquanaut shrugging his duffel bag over a shoulder and jogging down the hall in a hurry.
Hearing the knocking, Zhi turned his head to the door and checked the feed outside of it. He gave Zoey an uneasy look before he went to be the one to answer the airlock; walking backwards as he gave Ruby a stare. "I thought this room was reserved for us, I'll handle it..."

<Jin, can you send him a...->

<Ahead of you, Fengmi...>

His muse giving Ruby an invite ping on his PAN as the shark turned around.
<Tacnetrequest@Fishsquad. From user:Sharkalopes. Version 2.8 encrpytion255Q-byte ...Waiting for response>

With Jin handling his mesh affairs, the 'Naut opened the airlock briskly to check who or what was trying to get their attention.
So, I got two characters for this who would probably fit...

David Bennet

An ex-Jovian emmigrant who survived the fall and went into biotech, mostly living a normal, content; if dull life. His views changed at one research convention on mars that was impossible to make in time by shuttle and hesitantly went by farcast. Having been sheltered since his childhood years, he had thought the rest of the system would be an anarchic mess and was pleasantly surprised to see it happy and functioning. As well as the fact resleeving hadn't felt as crushing as he once feared, and mesh inserts and a genetweaked body felt quite ...liberating. A few months after the convention, he emmigrated from Jove to go try a transhuman life in earnest and live out the new experiences it offered.

He has no idea what Firewall or anything is and would have research contacts at T.A.U. as he still pursues his field in a more independent manner. Currently lives in Noctis City running a home-based body mod and sculpting business.

And.. Hanz Graner (Who's sheet I need to fix) Ex-Cargo Dragon

I'm not kidding. In the Eye of Fazh-whatever books there's these massive biomorphs the size of houses that look like dragons, called Kiyos. Before the Fall, Hanz actually worked in one as a living cargo loader. Clock in, resleeve into Kiyo, haul freighter crates that weighed tons between freighters and space ports, sleeved back into his normal body after the shift. The constant resleeving had a quite positive effect on his sense of somatic control and coordination and a lot of his hobbies revolve around physical activity.

When the Fall hit? He fled in an unusual manner ...Which is to say in the Kiyo, literally just flew off in any random direction when the station he was working at got affected and drifted for years in a hibernation until he wound up bumping into something near Titan. The years after the fall hadn't been kind of the large morph, it had a number of tumors from constant radiation and was very beaten up from micrometeor impacts and other abuse. Completely impossible to mend such a large morph reliably, let alone live in. Hanz gave it over in trade for a custom-sculpted splicer that resembled the one he left behind in the Fall and became a Titan Commonwealth citizen. If he had any ties to the T.A.U. it would be as a student, as he has no educational skills and working as a stripper for the rest of eternity isn't very appealing.
Exellent Failurex2
Rubbing the back of his head, the sharknaut sighed. "Yeah ...It likely is, I mean, not TITANs directly, just something they probably left behind, or reverse engineered- I don't know. If we could figure out the psych behind those things we wouldn't be here, would we? We'll fix it up just-"

Blinking a few times, Zhi shook his head in a groggy manner.

"We're also going to need to let you into the tac-net ...and- When we leave ...Who would be opposed to stealing the ego servers here for altruistic reasons? Free some trapped souls?"
"Shut up Guilao!" The 'Naut snapped, before slumping his shoulders in his seat. "Right, the issue is, Nine Lives isn't normally an X-issue, right? Disgusting scum just from a few hours here, but not Firewall-Teir. That changed when our on-site contact got a report they have new psych-surgery tech and methods ....From before the fall, of TITAN make. you know, back when it was a new and scary thing. So that thing may be an exsurgent vector and if so it's got to go."

Pausing a moment to rummage in his dufflebag, the Shark chugged a moment from a flask before handing it off to Zoey and speaking again.

"We looked at one of the egos it's been used on, it's ...Way, way, WAY too passive and subservent, never seen anything like this. Now, from what we've been told, Nine Lives is in Sects ...and the lead Branch with Roland Nazon in charge currently holds the equipment. This has the others in a fit because it threatens the balance of power and they're gonna host a moot over it in the market district, This is our only opening. We need an idea how to crash it or get into their graces to get to this TITAN tech Nazon got his hands on and scuttle it."

Lowering his fishy head a moment, he gave the room a pensive stare. ",..If that thing is carrying exsurgent, The Houngan branch may be infected. We can't just mark them up to ignorant Niang. Keep that in mind."

",..Any questions?"
Took off his rig's helmet and took the hand, shaking it eagerly. "Hao, I'm Zhi, this is Zoey...We're uh, one of the first on site agents to this mess, yeah? How much our handler tell you? Cause ...It's a long story and we may have detours." The 'Naut letting down his gear bag and mining pick, taking a seat on a nearby desk.
Fixing the helmet over his snouted head, Zhi nods and stands again, hefting up his duffel bag and mining pick from where he dropped them closely, starting to make his way for the airlock. "Yeah, well ...We all do and Grandma's gonna be pissed at how late I am and that I didn't go with her shipment, so you're not the only one, come on..."
"Aiya! How the fuck did this happen!?"

<Pan, Fengmi, it's not your fault..->

"I don't know that, Jin! What if the rest of my fucking brain's infected!? What did he do with that infomorph!?

<Pan ...Dear. It will be okay. I was keeping an eye on the implant as you asked, soon as it crashed that hard I fully partitioned it. Whatever had went wrong, it is isolated with ...whatever is left of him, hopefully a salvageable ego.>

Giving a shaky nod, the heavily built, shark-looking Aquanaut stood from his seat on the bridge, still mostly dressed in the mining crash suit he had come in on as he paced back and forth in the cockpit. Having a one-sided conversation with his muse as he waited for the results of his report to "Tim" to come though... As well as the frantic request for help added in, much as he trusted Zoey in a straight up fight, it didn't take a quantum mathematician to figure out butchering their way through Legba wasn't going to solve this anything.

"Alright, Gaisi de, I need a drink and like ...Enough comfurt to drown a dolphin. Shitty hardware, virus or ...You know, infection? You got it?"

<I promise dear... Also, you have a one way message, it's asking for I-net decryption, shall I...?>

"Shi, shi ...Uh, is it from Tim? What's it say?"

Jin didn't respond, the shark's giving an unfocused stare as he read the missive from their local informant across his entropics, before finally nodding again with more reassurance. "Alright! We got this, how can four agents fuck this up, right?"

<Fengmi...>

"Right, sorry ..." Taking his seat again and starting to put the rest of his hardsuit back on, he finally spoke up over their tacnet. <Yo, Zoey. You get anything from Tim too? He ...Uh, got us some help, we're gonna meet them back in psychopomp, ready to go?>
