I doubt it. Atlas is a military government, and Faunus are strictly better soldiers than humans: they have displayed better physical capabilities and can see in the dark. I don't find it credible, or good for the plot of the RP, for atlas to reject them out of hand. There'd probably tension with the rights revolution being sort of shitty for everyone, but I expect Atlas was probably the first to accept Faunus for government service.
So, GM: do you have a date scheduled for us starting?
@EnterTheHero

I'm still ready to accept your character once the history is all set up. Repost it when you're done, for convenience.
@Halvtand

I understand that benders are limited, but I don't think that you need to latch onto the philosophies of the show. There are always so many ways you can go with elements, the four types of bending can be conceptualized in so many ways. I mean, I made a hard-line, militaristic libertarian of an airbender, which I certainly think fits the concept of airbending, but has no basis in the show.

You'd never hear Aang declaring "Sic semper evello mortem tyrannis", in fact he was fundamentally against the position as a continuation of his airbending upbringing.
So just so everyone is on the same page: I will not be online with any sort of consistency until the evening of the 17th, at the very earliest. I will be putting the post up on the evening of the 18th EST, God willing, but I'll be flicking through characters before that to make sure everything is copacetic and the roster is plump.
@Spoopy Scary

Well, I'm certainly impressed. That's way more than I expected, and it's all pretty great! Go ahead and slot her in, she's accepted!
@Zarkun

>clips

For clarity, magazines put cartridges into barrels, clips put cartridges into magazines. But let's not get me writing an essay on the gun smithing and ballistic physics in the show, it'll scare away potential players. If you're actually interested, shoot me a PM
@Thundercrash

Oh I don't even want to think about thinking about the mechanical realities of the weapons. They're all just as dumb as coco's weapon, or at least on a similar tier.
@Thundercrash

Welcome aboard! Also, I never really thought Coco's weapon was dumb:'an easily-carried gun' makes a lot of sense to me. She fights with it sort of stupidly, but that's a whole other thing. Anyways, I can't wait to see what sort of characters you bring to the table.
@Spoopy Scary

See, I love guns in the real world: I'm a military history major, and they're one of my chief hobbies. I promised myself I wouldn't ruin people's fun with these weapons, and I'm going to stick by that. If your club/ball-and-chain/turret/bomb is what you want, that's fine by me. It is, however, the goofiest weapon I've ever seen in one of these RPs, and one of the least practical. Of course, this is RWBY logic, so being overbaked and impractical will have no negative repercussions on your character whatsoever.
