A lot of that. Basicly you will be in charge of inventing a God. Now you can be a God of anything, maybe the God of fire, or darkness, maybe something specific and stupid like the God of Rats, or are you a God of an exclusive race? Be as creative or as cliche as you wish. After you build your God-Character, you then get to make a portion of the world, how magic or powers you can grant work (for example if you are a god/goddess of witchcraft, you can explain that basics of how it works.) This also applies to exclusive races that you make, and other godly properties of sorts. Your power can range from say a simple scrying seer, to well, fucking Cthulu or Azathoth. You will be in charge of making some form of civilization or the method of worship, such as being a structured religion or a cult. If you are some benevolent light God however, perhaps your worship is more wide spread?
The default world, without any specific God or world-building, is basically a low-magic human majority fantasy world of medieval era, think Tolkien style, or Arthurian legend. The fantasy and magic bullshit is what your adding Basically, mystical creatures and sorts are also up for yours. Feel free to make continents and what inhabits them as well.
As a God, you are an immortal and eternal entity. Your essence is somewhat stagnant, since Gods aren't really 'alive' either, killing a God is well, impossible. However Gods are not truly infinite or undefeat-able. It is possible for a God to be defeated, be it through power, sealing bullshit, etc. Gods exist on an outer plane of their creation, either an empty dimension or another world or even an afterlife for the dead. Souls are immortal too after all. They can also create otherwordly races such as shadow people and demons or angels if they have the sort of domain or power to do so, as well as an actual dimension to put them in other then the mortal realm.
If a God is 'destroyed' they essentially go out of commission for a long while, depending on how badly their ass was kicked it could take a God anywhere between 10 years to a million years to return to the world with power.
Also Gods can physically manifest into the world, however their manifested form is a bit more limited, and can be 'destroyed', making Gods vulnerable if they choose to do so. However physical manifestations have the bonus of being able to directly influence the world, as in, they can touch things, be it destruction, or use their powers for creation. For you see, their default forms, while normally intangible, has very little power over the world. The only exception is their own dimension, which they have as much power in as a lucid dreamer. Their physical manifestation usually represents their true nature and power. (for instance, a god of dragons would be..well..A fucking dragon). Though some gods can transform into disguises, while it doesn't necessarily improve or vary their power (In fact they are weaker and more vulnerable if they choose to disguise themselves) but for use of deception and whatnot it can be useful. Demonic Gods that can corrupt things, for example if you were some kind of Cthulu insanity monster or something transforms things, requires a physical manifestation upon the world to perform such things.
Miracles are often defined as acts that a God performs their will on the world outside of a physical manifestation. Miracles are limited and can't do anything world-breakingly good, but it can be useful for a chosen hero such as say, manipulating the outcome of a dice roll, or influencing an animal to perform some act, or shine light upon a deadly vampire, or enchanting a weapon with holy light. Demonic Gods can perform 'miracles' too, such as natural disasters, summoning a demon into the world, sending a miasma of plagues. These examples all depend on the power and domain of the God. For instance if your a god of fire your limited to Fire and its relations, you can't send a bubonic plague as a Fire God obviously.
speaking of which, Heroes is a fancy term usually used by light Gods to describe a 'chosen' one, to have them do a mighty quest or send them to destroy or defeat another God should the God have trouble with another God and can't deal with it personally. Any God can have a hero, and eventually if this goes well I'd like to start a sub-adventure for each god to have a hero (essentially we obtain mortal PC's, and have some sort of conflicting quests for each of our player Gods)
There is no such thing as fate or destiny, however some gods will often lie about that to either set comfort, or to boost confidence, or to intimidate and other means. Miracles can influence and set into place the next move in a grand scheme of chess, and a god that can predict the future can see the most possible outcome of the future, it is not set in stone, and there is always the probability and influence of other Gods that can make even the most accurate future prediction false.
God alignment. Gods are defined as good (Holy, blessed, sacred, etc. Your generic holy good, or even a good about something virtuous like truth or knowledge.), Neutral (Spiritual, Mystical, natural, etc. Basically Gods that do not align to a specific morality, and are more so concerned with themselves, their dominion, or things like natural order, and other ideals that would fall under a 'grey' area.) or evil (Demonic, infernal, Abyssal (this would also includes outer-god mother fuckers like Azathoth.)
All Gods have existed before time/space and the universe, and many may have had a hand in creating it, or not. All Gods know each other at least vaguely. Though Gods are not omnipotent. Gods' don't necessarily have 'genders' since they aren't biological, so it is purely based upon what the God identifies itself as, Gods are generally considered as 'Gods' however they can have other titles if they feel so, such as "Lord of light" or "Goddess" of some varity if they identify as a female or some sort of femininity if they choose so.

elation. For the most part I'd prefer if you stuck with one so that there is more room for others, however if you can convince me that it makes sense for the God to have all these domains, then I'll allow it.)
Appearance: (Physical manifestation and a Spiritual manifestation I.E. Your nonphysical Form (Which could still resemble your physical manifestation, just probably larger and more translucent, I'd recommend using both a picture and at least two paragraphs of description.
Personality: (A good summary of how the God thinks, how it acts, and its flaws/strengths in personality, and perhaps some things they like or hate.)
Symbol: (A picture or description of the Symbol of the God. You can have more then one. This can include an animal, a familycrest styled symbol, etc etc.)
Method of Worship: (Some gods may have been forgotten by worshippers, or never gained a following, most however do have some form of worship. A structures religion or a cult for example. However your God is worshipped, you should explain in depth who worships, why they worship, and how they worship. Tributes? temples? Prayers? etc. Have fun with this.)
Races that commonly/solely worship this God: (Is it a god only worshipped by Dark elves, or is it wide spread throughout the world for its generic ideals? Does it only accept a select few or a single race or can any race worship this God?)

Vulnerabilities: (What is your good vulnerable to, does it take extra damage from holy damage, does sunlight burn its physical form like a vampire, does water melt it in its physical form and/or repel its spiritual form? Does the darkness weaken its power? Vulnerabilities are optional and apply to both forms of the God, but it is recommend to at least have one sort of major weakness. Maybe youre god had a falling out with the water god and now water literally melts them into destruction, and if they aren't in physical contact then the water simply repels, or wards off it. Maybe your the vampire god so you suffer the weaknesses of the vampire.)
Ultimate Goal/motive: (Something as simple as taking over the world or smiting evil, or something more complex?)
Opinions: For each other Player God, your God has an opinion on the God before the RP starts. It could be vague, or it could be well known. Up to you really, the opinion should show with whatever information you allow Your God to know about another determines the opinion and what the God thinks of the other.
Tales: Optional, you can also collab with other Players to have complex stories.
