I'm Cari and I'm new on this site. That said, I have been roleplaying for a really long time so there isn't much that I haven't seen or tried. As my title suggests, I'd really love to get some sort of pirate pairing off of the ground. A band of miscreants as disorganised and ill fated as can be, but somewhat ruthless and effective nonetheless. We'd be focusing on a MxF character. One would be a civilian with a link to a gang of local smugglers, and the other would be the daughter of a pirate Captain. To condense the idea, the civilian owes the Captain a favour and agrees to let his daughter stay with him for a while. Unfortunately for him, she's a little bit of a handful and he has to help her settle into a more land based style of living - but she's rather charming too. So in a nutshell, this poor dude finds himself with the female equivalent of Jack Sparrow, but less rum and more sarcasm. (I'd like to say prettier too, but I love Johnny Depp so I can't bring myself to say it.)
The two would eventually discover that they harbour feelings for each other, so romantic scenarios will arise as will mature themes. Well, we are talking about pirates, right?! Eventually, they get tangled up on some adventure. The Smuggler gang is trying cheat the privateers out of money, drama ensues.
I'd really like a partner that can write at an advanced level and who knows how to develop a strong character. Now that wasn't too painful, was it? If you're interested or want to throw your own ideas at me, feel free to send me a PM.
