The mighty Kingdom of Terthalia was mostly at peace. Thanks in no small part, to the tireless efforts of the knights of the kingdom and the many, many adventurers culling hordes of monsters, beasts, demons and even several devils that had been unleashed throughout the land by the dread lich Myr
A semi retired, highly decorated General from the King's elite guard and partial angelic being, Arn Wolven, took upon himself to commission a huge tavern, guildhall, shop and inn under one huge sprawling roof. The result was a massive complex, complete with two hundred rooms, a fully stocked bar and fantastic meals served daily, a supremely talented blacksmith and armorer who came to work for Arn because of the proximity to some of the finest and rarest materials around. There was a common room where adventurers could rest and relax after the questing was done.
As well as all of this the Wellspring also offered spell components, training from retired adventurers in skills with sword, staff, bow or unarmed combat.
The reason for this huge complex, was manyfold. it served as a last stop before adventurers headed into the Darkmere, a twisted deep forest that housed many of its own dangers as well as the Lich's stronghold. It was from this stronghold that the rifts were opening to allow the Demon's, devils and other fell beasts to roam the land. The second reason was it also had become somewhat of a bastion of hope.
There is also a Questing board here that has rewards and quests sanctioned by not only the King, but by several unknown beings of indeterminate powers.
This place is called the Wellspring.
The premise of this Roleplay is for a group of adventurers to gather at the Wellspring Tavern and head off on a quest to vanquish the Lich Lord Myr
I will be taking the role of Arn Wolven.
Looking for a good group to take part. All races, classes and power levels considered. But no God classes or Arch mage tropes that can cast a nuke and wipe out everything.
