"Just the little guy?" Ally chuckled, "Then that must make me the little girl." She wouldn't let him get away so easily. There was something he had that gave him potential and that was determination. He chose to fight the guy even though he was what seemed like ten times his height and that took guts. "Look, self defense is for everyone, that's why they don't call it 'strong guy defense.' You have no experience, right? That's why you lost so quickly." Ally caught up with Kiro and caught his wrist in a tight grip, "You need to learn how to defend yourself, right? I'm giving you the chance to learn with real masters who have a real sense of honor, not some jerks that fight anyone for the heck of it. Besides, that guy's technique was a little off. You could learn how to recognize stuff like that if you would join this dojo. Learning self defense could save you one day, what if that bully kept hurting you and I didn't show up? How would you like for your parents to hear their son died on the streets because he didn't know how to defend himself? Think about that," Ally finished and released her grip on his wrist. "You can take up my offer now and never have to worry about that or you can keep going hiding and getting beat up by dumb bullies like him."
"I don't think karate is only for the strong," Ally said, "It's for those who need to defend themselves against others, weak or strong." When they met eyes she caught him holding back the tears and tried to stay as emotionless as possible as to not make him cry. When people showed her sympathy when she was holding back tears it usually made the tears fall out. Then a tear slipped down Kiro's cheek. "You are strong mentally, that took a lot of guts." Then he told her about her own bravery and her emotionless stage faultered as she blushed bashfully. "I'm only brave because I've been fighting almost all my life. If I didn't know how to fight I don't know if I would've stopped." The thought of not stopping sickened her, but she knew most people would've done it, possibly including herself. "If you really want to know how to fight, I go to this amazing dojo. You'll really be tested physically and emotionally, but if it means you can deal with those jerks then it's worth it." She purposely lacked to mention the joining fees but figured if there was an issue it could be solved later. "I'm on my way to the dojo now. You can come with me and you can join if you want."
Ally stood her ground as the bullies left, making sure they didn't try any other dirty moves before leaving. When Kiro was up and standing, she faced him though he wouldn't face her. "Are you okay? What happened back there?" she questioned, "That was a nasty fight, and it doesn't look like you have any experience." The anger in him was visible even though she couldn't see his face full on. She felt bad for him, but that wasn't going to help him. At times like these, there was only one person that could truly help you and that was yourself. She wondered how avoidable this situation would be, but figured that didn't matter since it already happened.
That was it, after seeing the cruelty Ally had enough. She raced to the crowd, pushing passed the spectators and stood in front of the bully. "Hey, stop that!" she said. "If he's such a 'weakling' or whatever, why waste your time on him?" She knew these words wouldn't help the boy's confidence or self-esteem in the end, but if it could stop the pain it was worth it. Throughout her life she too knew what it was like to be picked on and bullied, but never anything as bad as this. Her body tensed slightly as she was ready to fight, though she didn't show it. She was taught to always look weaker than she truly was, and she did admit that being a girl helped with this facade.
Ally was jogging around town, getting in some good cardio before heading over for training at the dojo. She already told Asuka she would be back at the dojo around 7:00 because of this, and her aunt didn't seem to mind. As she began to sprint down a concrete "straightaway" she heard a lot of noise coming from an alleyway. Her brain told her to just keep passing, but she couldn't help but stop and peek around the alley. "What the heck..." she murmured to herself as she watched the brute and boy face off. She saw the boy race at the brute and shook her head. He had no balance or coordination so she wasn't surprised when the brute dodged and countered. The boy was unguarded and the brute kicked him in the head. That's not right... she thought. She didn't believe the brute was acting in self defense and she didn't believe this kid was the aggressor, even though he attacked first. Nobody so unskilled could be that idiotic. If things got out of hand, she wouldn't hesitate to step in and diffuse the situation.
@TheHunter I can start off with a sort of introductory solo post for my character today if you're too busy. That might be a good way to start, I'm not sure though. XDD
Akita didn't have time to roll away from Gin's fists so she held her hands up. She tried to find just one slip up so she could get in and hit him. Roshi's training was mainly strength, not fighting skill, so she felt pretty limited. A couple of Gin's hits got through, three good ones hitting her in the face and another in the stomach. She felt sick and could tell her nose was spewing blood even though she didn't wipe her nose. It didn't seem like Gin was going to miss a punch, so Akita stepped to the side a bit, creating an opening in his ribs, and threw out two quick straight punches. She took a step back and snapped her foot out in a straight push kick to his stomach. Her arms were now pained from the absorbed hammer blow and Gin's punches, but she would manage. The pain in her left foot was almost gone as adrenaline was full blown. It was a little difficult to breath from her nose so she became a mouth breather.
Name: Ally Stein

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Rank(Disciple, Master, Bully, ECT): Disciple, but has been training for like all her life. XD See backstory

Gang Affiliation(If any): None

Looks: >_> I'm pretty sure we all know I'll never answer this. XDD

Height: 5'4"

Backstory: Ally's aunt is Master Asuka Honda. When Ally was too young to remember, her mother passed away and her father left, unable to handle the pain, leaving her with her only family, Asuka. Asuka has taught her self defense, mainly Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, since she was little and when Ally got old enough she joined the dojo. As far as her schoolwork goes she does have friends, but hardly has time after school for any hanging out or clubs. The one time she ditched training was to go watch a rivalry game and it didn't end up so well when she saw Asuka at home. She does know Kiro, for the record, but it's more like a maybe wave hi in the hall type of thing. They're more acquaintances than anything. I do imagine her being bullied a bit, but never anything she couldn't handle with words. If fists need to fly, she's more than capable.

Crush(If any): None

Personality: You guys know me, and that's kind of what I'm going for. XD Uhh... determined and definitely a lot more serious than me since I don't imagine she gets a lot of time to really be herself and let loose. Maybe there can be character development there. I don't imagine her very jokey and if you tell her a joke, especially one that's targeted to her, it'll either go over her head or she'll be offended. Basically if training ever gets less strict or as more disciples start to join she'll be less cold. That's just what I'm imagining, it might not even end up that way in the thread. XD

Other: I am a potato and I love it. And Huntress.

Name: Asuka Honda

Age: 35 years old

Gender: Female

Rank(Disciple, Master, Bully, ECT): Master

Martial Arts Style(Unless you're a disciple): Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Gang Affiliation(If any): None

Looks: WIP *COUGH*JKLOL*COUGH*

Height: 5'3"

Backstory: Asuka Honda was picked on as a young child. She decided she was fed up with it and decided to get BJJ lessons. Eventually she began moving up in the ranks and no one ever picked on her again. Once she had mastered the arts, she decided to teach people how to defend themselves too and joined the other masters at the dojo. When her sister had her daughter, Asuka vowed to not let the girl get picked on and taught her a little self defense whenever she visited, even though her niece was barely able to walk. Asuka's vow became stronger when her sister passed away, her brother-in-law vanished, and she became the guardian of her niece. Since then she has kept a strict eye on Ally, putting her through more training than thought possible while still keeping a balanced life of rest at home.

Crush(If any): None

Personality: Asuka is a very determined woman, but this doesn't make her mean. She's actually very sympathetic, but can be serious when needed, especially when training the next generation of BJJ masters. I do imagine her having a weakness, basically if you slip up bring her chocolates or something sweet. XD

Other: Asuka and Ally have different last names because Asuka is an aunt from her mother's side.
"I don't know, but I forgot to tell you that when little boys are rude to their mothers, Korin will eat them!" Akita said, holding on to Suno's hand tightly. "What was that yesterday about not wanting to pick up your room?" She knelt down and kissed the boy on the cheek, hoping to not scar him too badly. He was a lot like his father, so a little story to keep him in check here and there wouldn't hurt. She stepped onto the edge of the Lookout and called back to the others, "Come on, slowpokes!" She nodded to Suno, still holding his hand, and took off into the air.
Akita rolled out of the way, glad for the turtle shell training. She had taken the shell off the day before and she felt lighter than the air around her. Her speed had definitely increased since starting the intense training and she felt like she could do anything. Akita nimbly popped back onto her feet, sent out a double kick, one to Gin's thigh, one to his head, and finished by twisting to catch his neck in the hook of her leg, trying to use her weight to slam him into the ground. She knew it wouldn't end the fight, but it would be another step closer to winning.
