"I guess that's true," Adam replied and drank. "I've been in the game for maybe three years. Definitely not the longest. It's just been taking a tole for a while. I don't know Agent's identity but when she moved here I had to move to stop her. This town is terrible, but I need to help it. I know Agent's weaknesses, but she knows mine. What about you? How long have you been at it?"
"Oh wow, I finally don't have to use the 'left my wallet at home' excuse," Adam joked. "I'll take a scotch." He rested his chin on the bar and let out a long sigh. "They only ever keep coming back. What's the point in fighting?"
"Doesn't try?" Tiger asked. He supposed Trick didn't care at this point. "Alright." Tiger went into the bathroom and immediately stripped down. He had an extra pair of clothes in a stitched internal pocket, but it was the bare minimal, a thin shirt and pants and flexible shoes. Once he was done he met Lacy. "Sorry for the sweat. Hero work and all," he laughed, stretching out his elbow. He figured it wouldn't be hurt for long but he wasn't going to take risks. "How much would a drink cost?"
"Dense is my middle name," Tiger joked. When they arrived at the back entrance of the bar, he stood aside to let Viper unlock it. "Do you have anywhere to change? I'd do it back here but someone would probably see," he even looked around out of slight nervousness, not wanting anyone to catch them. "Hiding identities sure isn't easy."
Tiger nodded. He didn't understand what she said in whatever Latin language it was, but he doubted it was of any harm. When she left he followed her closely. "I've never seen you fight. Well, beside Agent," Tiger chuckled. "It was really cool. You should teach me a few tricks." He added a goofy wink and followed her. It made him happy to work with good heroes like Viper and Trick. He doubted he would have as much trouble fighting Agent if they fought three on one. "Thanks for saving me back there."
Tiger watched Puppeteer fall. "They just keep coming back," he muttered. He turned towards Viper and nodded, "Yeah, I'm okay, just popped my elbow. I'll be okay. So where to now? Your spot or help the cops?" He really hoped the bar. He needed a drink now, especially seeing the lifelessness of Puppeteer's victims while they were still very much alive. "Maybe Trick can take care of the cops," he suggested, scratching his head through his costume. He wasn't trying to kick Trick out or anything, he just didn't want to deal with the authorities.
Tiger was relieved when everyone ran out. He wouldn't have to worry so much now. When Viper got caught, his muscles tensed. He easily caught the syringe. He didn't know if it would work, but he trusted it would. Tiger watched Puppeteer carefully and stalked around her, similarly to how a real tiger would. "I didn't want to do this," he murmured. The man put the syringe in his mouth and ran for Puppeteer as hard as he could. The pain in his arm pulsed and screamed, but he ran even faster. He jumped up and made it look like he was diving for her face, but tweaked the angle at the last possible second to slide down between her legs. While she couldn't find him, he shoved the needle at her neck.
Tiger caught glimpses of Trick and Viper stopping Doll, but he payed more attention to his attackers. Three citizens rushed at him. He didn't want to hurt them, but he didn't want the freed citizens getting hurt either. Tiger leaped up when they were about three feet away. He clipped one string, but missed the other two. One of his attackers gripped his foot and pulled him back to the ground. He landed, but his arms were straight out. Something popped in his elbow and he winced. He wasn't sure how serious the injury was, but it hurt. Tiger leapt up again at the second rushing and was able to catch the strings he needed. "Everyone who's free please leave!" he shouted, not sure if they could even hear him.
"Sorry Miss Unique," one of the guards said, tipping his hat in respect, "but we can't confirm that. Detectives will arrive on scene and the universal police will be here momentarily, as this is an intergalactic crime, not a Zem crime."

As if on cue, aliens of all different shapes and sizes wearing red suits stormed in and surrounded the Rebels. The aliens split to let the another through. He was about seven feet tall, still not the tallest in the room, and had blue skin. He held up a silver badge and said, "I am Commander Raiaos. You six are under the custody of The Kreig'r Universe Police. Please come quietly as to not disturb this traditional game any more than it has been. We know who you are and we know what you can do. As of now, you will have a court date set up and the ability to choose lawyers or represent yourselves. You will-" before he could finish, he was interrupted.

"Whoa whoa whoa, hold on there, cowboy," Nightmare said, holding his hands up, "Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? We didn't do anything! Heck, maybe Unique's the one who cheated and the rest of us are innocent!" He wasn't trying to be rude, but if they were arrested they wouldn't be able to help the people on earth. His main concern was who was going to protect earth, and if they lost one Rebel out here, then they lost one Rebel.

"You will have a trial date set up. Then you can prove your innocence."

"How can we prove our innocence if we don't have any real proof other than our words and reputations?" Ally asked.

"Detectives are already on the scene. It will be your jobs to prove you are innocent, while Zem will have to prove you are guilty," Commander Raiaos said.

"But we don't know how space trials work," Star protested.

"You will go over the rules the day before the trial starts. Any information previous to that date can be obtained by asking other inmates or your warden. Any more questions?"
Just as Phase was about to shoot a fake kick at Unique, his world want dark and he tell to the ground. Everyone in the crowd gasped and then proceeded to cheer. Many of them didn't realize Unique could knock people out just by skating!

"Please quiet down!" the announcer said to the crowd desperately. A group of paramedics ran up to the knocked out man and began to check his vitals. Constrast to a few moments ago, it seemed everyone in the stadium was quiet. After about give minutes, the head paramedic held his arms out to his left side.

"Ladies and gentlezem..." the announcer began, "...The Rebels have been disqualified for foul play. We ask that the Rebels remain in the waiting room. Unique, please return to the waiting room. Thank you." At this, the crowd screamed calls of disapproval, disbelief, and disgust.

In the waiting room, guards began to fill the exits, ensuring no Rebels escaped.

Ally's jaw dropped at the claim. "Foul play? How? We were all in here!"

"Ma'am, we're going to have to ask that you calm down," one of the guards said.

"This isn't right! We've been framed!" she said. No matter what, she refused to believe it was a Rebel that caused whatever happened to Phase. Even Blue Bird wouldn't risk disqualifying herself.

"How did Phase even get... Knocked out?" Nightmare asked the guards.

"We don't know," a guard answered. All of them sounded crestfallen that their heroes were now villains.

"Please believe us, we didn't do anything!" Star pleaded. She was partially glad that she didn't need to fight, but she didn't know what would happen to them. They broke the rules to a sacred game, according to the paramedics. She assumed the worst would happen to them.
