A companion would work, but you'd have to wait a while for all the Timelords to do intro post, fly to earth, etc, before you could become a companion
The Dalek could work, yes, but you'd have to wait even longer, because I plan on introducing Daleks into this RP at a very later time
A different species could really only be used as a companion or an enemy alien, and you'd still have to wait for both those reasons

One day, in the year of 2073, while on an adventure, the Doctor died for his final time. No regeneration, no more adventures, no more Doctor. What nobody knew was that deep within space, there was a small pocket universe, the only little left remains of Gallifrey. In this little pocket, there were Timelords. Living, breathing, Timelords. The Doctor knew that there were Timelords left, but he knew he wasn't going to live forever, so he raised the Timelords himself, so that they would end up wanting to travel and help the people of the universe. When they were old enough and had been taught enough, he took the Timelords and he put them in special pods that would awaken them when the Doctor breathed his final breath, and his hearts stopped pumping, and these pods were finally awakening.

In this RP you play as a new Doctor, saving the universe from new and old threats.

RULES
Don't take control of other characters
No Godmodding
No speed posting
Your Doctor cannot have the advanced knowledge of a Timelord, remember, these new Doctors are still very young, and have almost no knowledge, besides how to navigate a TARDIS
Whenever you want to talk about your character IC or OOC, you must refer to them by their title
No spoilers, remember, not only is this AFTER the Doctor died, your creature just woke up from a sleep that they've been in their whole lives
Double post rule, wait for atleast two more posts to be made IC before you post, unless it's been inactive for atleast two hours
