Zaen had been listening to the entire conversation, and hid behind the door before the guards took the girl to the lunchroom. he opened the door when they left and stepped in his little laboratory. "What's up, doc?" he said, chuckling. "How're your experiments going?" he said with a mischevious grin on his face.
"Easy one! I'd say it's the humans, they are so different from the other species! Sure, they can be bad at times, but what creature isn't?" he said. "They're diverse, with their ideas and their creativity. Their morals and their personalities..." he said, trailing off. "And yes, I've been almost everywhere on Earth, and met so many people." he explained as he ate his bread. "You'll understand, eventually. Maybe you'll pick up some human and get a companion." he said, thinking.

The Dentist yawned and woke up. He scratched his head and got out of bed, putting on his clothes and stepping out of the sleep room. He streched and walked out of the ISTTU, then going over to the other TARDISes and knocking on them. "Rise and shine!" he said cheerily, before walking back into the food shop and ordering breakfast. He sat at a table and began eating, waiting for the other Timelords to wake up.

That's kind of the point, Finn is not supposed to be smart, he never actually got any schooling, only thing he ever learned was how to use a sword and tend a crop

Sam narrowed his eyes, then giggled. He desummoned the darkness and hopped off his bird, desummoning it. He didn't trust this man, but he just shrugged it off, as long as he atleast helped them, it was fine.
