So... exactly how wild can I go with my character? Am I limited to just humanoids? Because I really want to play an inanimate object. Um, that sounds kinda lame, actually... Dragon? Pony? Some turtle thing made entirely out of stone?

Blinky approached the hole from the outside, flying on her broomstick, wand at the ready. She stopped right at the entrance, waved her wand a little, and yelled "Appearify!" A metal cage materialized around Margarito. It was a temporary solution, but i would buy her time to figure out what to do with him. Just for effect, she laughed mockingly for a few seconds.

Luigi was now curled up in a corner.

Tony frowned. This was bad. Appearently, the entire kingdom was gone. This got him even more fired up than he already was! He dashed toward the Doom Ship, not caring whether or not Bowser's fireballs hit him. His rage ended suddenly, when he crashed into the side of the ship, creating a hole wherein he lay unconscious.

Blinky spent a couple of minutes trying to figure out why the spell hadin't worked on the kids. Suddenly, she heard a crash, and the Doom Ship shook. One of the kids had collided with the side of the ship.

"What an idiot," she said to herself. She promptly got onto her broom, and headed for the impact location. She was going to capture this loser.

Tony kept outside of the conversation. He was furious. Who did this Bowser think he was? He was gonna teach the guy a lesson! Tony leaped up in the air, and Margarito soon followed. Together, they approached the Doom Ship.

"Activate the spell!"

It took Blinky a few seconds to process the command. Panicking, she tore her eyes away from the horrible sight below, and took her wand out of her pocket. She did a short series of motions in quick succession, and yelled:

"Smallify!"

A beam shot out of her wand, and disappeared into the sky. Suddenly, all of the clouds shrinked rapidly. Shortly after, trees and other scenery items shrinked, followed by all the houses and citizens in the town. The castle shook a little, as it too slowly decreased in size, proportionately to the tiny Mushroom Kingdom. It was now so tiny it could fit in a bottle, which it was now located in, on the deck of the Doom Ship, in front of Bowser.

The spell didn't seem to have worked on the kids, who were still flying towards the Doom Ship with... capes. Of course! Capes that allowed flight to happen. Just the kind of weapon the Mushroom Kingdom would invent. Seriously, what were those capes made of?!

Tony gave up on making a joke. Once all his clothes were on, Margarito handed him a red mushroom. He put it in his pocket.

Suddenly, an explosion could be heard from outside! Maybe I can tell a joke about this?

Margarito and Tony made their way the the window and looked outside. A neighborhood was in flames. Houses were burning up and slowly falling apart. People were desperately trying to evacuate.

"Why that no good... Ooh! He's going to pay for this," Margarito blurted out.

"Yeah, and the fine will ruin his bank account," Tony said with a snicker. "Come, let's go," He said and turned to leave the room.

Following Mario's lead, Luigi dashed out of the room.

Blinky cringed at the idea of endangering lives just to provoke Mario. She promptly turned away from the explosion and held her ears tight. She soon heard it. Wiping a tear from her face, she turned around and looked down at the destruction. She was horrified, to say the least. She opened her mouth to speak to her king, but no words came out. What would she say? It was way too early for a betrayal, and she was in too high a position to break down crying at this. It took her a short bit of time to build up the courage to utter a single word.

"Woah..."

This was not a dream Tony had wanted to wake up in the middle of.

Tony is subconsciously afraid of history repeating. That Mario/Margarito will always be the main hero, and Luigi/Tony will always be second best. For that reason, he had a nightmare about what would happen if the opposite was to happen, and Margarito keeps wearing that smile until the end of time. Luigi might be having some sort of psychological connection to Tony, causing him to be reminded of a similiar nightmare that used to haunt him.

This was not a dream Tony had wanted to wake up in the middle of. Not only had he saved the entire Mushroom Kingdom from Bowser's evil plans, not only had he been celebrated and given ice cream for days, not only had he been kissed on the cheek by his mother! He had got to rub it all in Margarito's face. Best dream ever. Ten out of ten, would dream again.

"Hah! Who's the hero now?" Tony said with a smirk, enjoying the look on his brother's face, that thrilling display of... was that joy? Was Margarito happy that he was being...

"Tony, wake up! It's Bowser!" his brother yelled at him. Tony shot up from his bed, grunting as he hit his head on the ceiling.

"So what?" he eventually said as he jumped down from the top bunk. "Mario can take care of him." He made his way to the pile of clothes on the floor and started putting them on, while frantically trying to remember what joke he had prepared for just this situation. There had to be something.

Luigi was happy about waking up from this dream. It was a nightmare that had haunted him for years, though it had been a long time since he last had it.. It was always the same thing. Luigi had saved the Mushroom Kingdom for the upteenth time, and a party was being held in his honor. He was talking to Mario about what an amazing adventure it had been, when suddenly, Mario punched him in the face. Something around the lines of 'I hope you enjoyed the lamest adventure ever, brother! I'm gonna go on a real one now,' was usually what he would say then, and storm off. Luigi would then wake up screaming. This time was slightly different.

"Luigi, wake-a up! It's-a Bowser," Mario said, almost as if this was an everyday occurence. Bowser usually didn't attack so early inthe morning, did he? Most of the time, it was during some sort of celebration.

"Let's-a go then!" Luigi bellowed as he leaped out of the bed, clothes already on.

"Ugh, what's going on?" Princess Daisy asked as she slowly sat up.

"Wait until Mario comes out, I want to rub it in his face."

That was an odd thing to say. Was victory not top priority? Blinky the kamikoopa briefly considered King Bowser's sanity. She could cast the spell right now, and they wouldn't know what hit them. But no, Bowser wanted to rub it in. He wanted the enemy to feel their downfall. Clearly, he was a cruel villain.

Once this is finished, you're next, she thought to herself.

Character Sheet: Tony

Name: Tony

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tony looks like a miniature Luigi. He's tall, has a big round nose, giant blue eyes, and a head shaped like an egg. However, that is where the similarities end. Tony is known for being a fierce type, and he reflects that with the clothes he wears. He has a hot red hoodie, brown pants that are way too big for him but fits perfectly, a black and red caps with a flame logo, and... well, the shoes are the same.

Personality: Tony is the angry type. He has a very short fuse, and lots of bottled up anger. Furthermore, he has a terrible sense of humor, and shoves it in people's faces all the time. He thinks of himself as a jokester, often times laughing at his own jokes. He can certainly be a bit pretentious and disrespectful from time to time, but he has a lot of self control. As long as his fuse is left unlit. When Tony gets really angry, he has the potential for becoming a killing machine. Otherwise, he's a pacifist. With lots of bottled up anger. And lots of terrible jokes.

Backstory: To be developed.

Alignment: Chaotic good.

You know, I don't really feel like Tony actually needs a backstory. We already know that he's Luigi's son. Nevertheless, I'll probably get to writing it someday. Until then, I think we can proceed without it.

Character Sheet: Blinky the Kamikoopa

Name: Blinky the Kamikoopa

Age: 13

Gender: Female

I swear, if this breaks the hider, I am gonna flip.

Personality: Blinky is a maniac. She's easily the craziest kamikoopa that ever lived. She has a bit of a superiority complex, as she constantly places herself above others. Additionally, she's a hypocritical feminist, with the opinion that the female is superior to the male in every thinkable way, but claims that both are equal. Additionally, she has no respect for others' property. She's a bloody kleptomaniac. But you gotta cut her some slack. She's very intelligent. She can solve any puzzle, overcome any strategic disadvantage, and preform FREAKING MAGIC SPELLS FOR GOD'S SAKE! Yes, she's an asshole. And yes, I fucking love her. I'm weird like that.

Backstory: As was mentioned earlier, Blinky was the craziest kamikoopa that ever lived, and there had been some pretty crazy kamikoopas before. Either way, her behavior was so attroscious that even her parents decided she had to go. Using her wits, Blinky managed to escape certain death by the hands of the kamikoopa tribe, and found her way to Bowser's castle, where she was hired as a henchman. However, when her magical talents came to light, Bowser himself decided to take her under his metaphorical wing, and use her magical talents to take over the mushroom kingdom. Little did he know that Blinky had an agenda of her own. She wanted the mushroom kingdom. No, she wanted the entire world under her control.

Alignment: Lawful evil

And there's my villain. Now, I mentioned in a PM that I wanted to play a little assistant character for her as well. I haven't actually begun on that character sheet yet, so I'll just ignore him for now. We'll just have to retcon some reason for him to not be tirelessly stalking Blinky during the invasion.

Character Sheet: Princess Anna

Name: Princess Anna

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance: Princess Anna! Fuckign shit! Okay, gotta calm down. PRINCESS ANNA?!?! Right, so... Appearance... She's... She wears... God damn it, okay! New tactic! Her design is very simplistic, probably to a fault. She's just a floating blob of blackness. But wait! It gets better! She has small yellow circles for eyes, and they glow in the dark! And she has a cute little tiny wimy golden tiara! Awwwww!!!

Personality: Oh my God, where do I begin?! Anna is... special. Not retarded, just weird. She kind of has a bubbly personality, hidden underneath a layer of laziness and hopelessness. She has a knack for making any situation as awkward as possible, sometimes even hilariously so. Usually this involves one of her nefarious plots. Oh God, the plots. They are overly complicated, obviously flawed, always perfectly executed, and never ends well for her! Otherwise, she's just a regular idiot geek fangirl with way too many hobbies.

Backstory: Princess Anna is Princess Saffron's sister. This means they have the same overprotective parents who kept the both of them from leaving the castle their whole lives. Although they tried to sneak out on several occations, the guards were just too smart for them. Well, there was that one time when Anna got lost in the castle, fell out one of the windows, and landed in a bush. They had never thought of using the windows before. After that incident, the sisters were assigned permanent guards to stay by their sides at all times.

"Hello! Is anybody there?" the princess whispered nervously, her voice trembling, as she made her way through the maze of corridors. She had recently realised she was lost, and her eyes had gotten progressively wetter with tears. Suddenly, a loud noise sounded from behind her. It was loud, so perhaps others had heard it as well? Fear instantly grabbed hold of her, though, and she bolted forwards, trying as hard as she could to get away from the origin of the sound. In doing so, however, she tripped, crashing head-first into a glass window, shattering it into one thousand and fourty two pieces, and plummeted down three floors, into a bush. During the fall, she screamed the loudest scream she had ever screamed. It alerted the guards to her presence.

It took the princess a few minutes to get herself reoriented. As she crawled out of the bush, she noticed something was wrong. This was not the outside of the castle. This was Hell. The ground was soft and meaty, the air was hot and sickening, and the landscape was literally on fire! Needless to say, she was terrified.

"Princess! Are you alright?!" She heard one of the guards ask frantically, and she instantly snapped back into reality. Strange. It kind of sounded like he was a completely different person for a moment there. But no, it was one of the castle guards.

"Yeah, I'm fine," she replied. Her vision was a little blurry, and her body felt... weird. Like, it was a completely different one.

Also after that incident, Princess Anna had been transformed from a human being, into... what is described in the Appearance section of this Character Sheet. This was, of course, met with an interesting reaction. No one recognised her at first, and she was imprisoned for at least a week until her family finally decided to visit her. Her breakdown was certainly an amusing sight.

Just like her sister, Princess Anna has spent her life trapped at home, in a castle. As a result of this, she has developed a longing for adventure. With the castle fully explored, and all possibilities of an adventure depleted, Princess Anna is bored out of her wits. She's even considering reading a book. "AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NO MORE PRINCESS LESSONS, MOM!"

Alignment: Chaotic good.

One down, three to go. I really hope I did the hiders correctly here. Either way, I think you'll find the backstory here intriguing. I would love to explain it, so I will. In a hider, so you don't spoil yourself before reading the actual story.

Imagine there's a multiverse. In this multiverse, two very different universes exist. Now imagine these two universes have some kind of link. Perhaps this is a feature of the entire multiverse. There's an infinite amount of universes A and B, wherein events vary from version to version. This could also be described as branching timelines.

Now look at Ni No Kumi. In that game, there are two worlds. World 1 is the real world, where the game starts. World 2 is the wizard world, where the rest of the game takes place. Naturally, the game takes the player back to World 1 a couple of times, but that's not important. The interesting thing about this, is that every person in World 1 has what is called a soul mate in World 2. The shopkeeper's cat in World 1 turns out to be a king in World 2. Soulmates have a magical connection to each other. If something happens to the shopkeeper's cat, lke, it gets lost in a sewer, then the king in World 2 might have something happen to him. Maybe he starts feeling lost for some reason, and tries to escape. And as he flees the castle, the cat miraculously finds it's way out of the sewers. Granted this doesn't actually happen in the game.

Now, take it a step further. Imagine that not only are emotions and circomstances similiar between soulmates, but also dialog. When the guard said "Princess! Are you alright?!", Anna noticed that his voice was different for a moment. This is because she heard the first half of the sentence being said by the guard's soulmate. Now, this implies that the two worlds are perfectly in sync with each other, but that may not be the case. Perhaps it was just perfectly timed. Perhaps it doesn't matter when you say the words, but which words you say, and in what order. Again this implies that human language is hardwired into the faric of reality, which isn't necessarily the case.

This brings me back to the multiverse theory. Every possible universe has a repesentative in this multiverse. If there is a universe pair wherein the dialogs don't match up, it's somehow able to detect this, and erase that pair of universes. You'd think that would mean that the world ends once you say the wrong thing, while in reality, it'll be as if that specific history never happened. And since there are infinite pairs, and infinite possibilities, it's impossible to tell wether or not the multiverse will actually deplete in this manner, considering infinity isn't a number. It is merely the idea that something can go on and on and never end.

Of course I don't actually believe in this. It's just an idea I've been thinking of lately.
