I think a caravan is a good idea, all of our characters should be able to fit into that situation somehow. I'm cool with that.
If we chose A we'll probably have to work out how all our characters got together.

Name: Taluin Filvendor

Gender: Male

Age: 270s

Class: Rogue

Race: Elf

Physical Description:
Tal's build and body are quite the norm for his race; he is tall and lithe with angular features. Dark brown hair falls to his shoulders in loose locks, and honey colored eyes poke out from underneath his bangs. Alabastor skin covers his toned body, marred only by the occasional scar, such as the one that reaches from his right chin to cheek. He dresses in either his armor or simple clothing, and is almost always carrying his weapons and pack.

Equipment:
-Leather armor
-Simple Longsword w/ Sheathe
-Dirk w/ Sheathe (pictured in appearance reference)

Personality:
A stern individual, Tal is not known for his warmth or compassion. He is a very reserved man, as having spent much of his time both for hire and on the road has prevented him from forming really long lasting connections. Intelligent, discerning, and prescriptive, Tal is adept at reading a situation and acting accordingly. Generally, he is mild mannered and cautious, but he is approachable, as those traits don't make him less inclined to pleasant conversation than others.

Bio:
Taluin's early memories are of an orphanage deep inside the City of Spires, Dary. Tal was a curious child who often went exploring outside. Eventually, after many attempts to bring him in and keep him failed, the orphanage staff soon gave up on keeping him inside. He grew up in the orphanage but he never lived there for more than a few days at a time after he reached a certain age. He did jobs around the city for different cartels and guilds, giving himself a reputation as a promising youth. He had never lived in an easy place; the orphanage and the city streets both held their own horrors, and Tal learned the harsh truths of vagrant life at an early age.

During his childhood, there was one guild above all others in the city: The Rothen Guild. Named after its brutal, legendary founder of ages ago, the Rothen Guild boasted a force superior in finesse, ability, and honor to many other major factions. In a city near to two large castles known to belong to forces of vampire masters, such a claim was often tested. The guild had a reputation of being above petty murder, and only took on jobs that came from exceptional clients or the city itself. Taluin aspired to be one of the infamous Rothen Riders ever since he had known who they were. He got his chance around the age of 14, when, after he had done a few small things for one of the senior members of the guild, he was offered a chance to join them on a mission they believed he could assist them with. When they were successful, he was offered a place among them.

However, he one of many young minds they took in at that age. After making him believe it was what he wanted, they put him through vigorous training and discipline. He grew reliant on the guild, believing their story of how they were all a giant family who looked out for each other, and like most did not see where this indoctrination was heading. After decades as a member of the guild, he and others discovered the plots of the heads of the guild. The Rothen Guild had once been what it claimed, but had, before Tal had become an apprentice, been infested with the undead servants of the vampire queen from the east. They were slowly working to spread the disease in the guild's ranks to unleash it on the city.

In a blaze of passionate speeches, angry battles, and turning alliances, the Rothen Guild was destroyed in a battle between its last sane members and those already turned against them. Citizens of Dary believe that the guild fell to politics when a new leader came to the head of the faction, but in reality the loss of members was so great that after the whole fiasco was over those who remained just called it quits. Tal, among them, eventually moved on from the city he had called home for more than 50 years, and left to pursue his own life. He has spent his time wander thus far, seeing places he had never visited before.
Ok, so I kinda did some stuff with the area he was from, but if that's not okay, I can take out the specifics. I referenced the vampire kingdoms from the map as well. :p
Also, I normally don't play characters with much experience, but I figured because a few of the other characters were sufficiently lacking, that it might round out some stuff in the party story wise.

I'd also like to apply for the rogue if its available!
Name: Otaerhyn "Rhyn" Amlaruil
Age: 27
Race: Half Elf - Aquatic Elf/Human
Class: 'Pirate'/Swashbuckler (explained below, I will change anything you deem necessary)

Personality:
Rhyn is a thoughtful person who doesn't go out of her way to make trouble or cause scenes. More often than not, she quietly goes about her own business. She isn't very trusting of others, mostly because the people she meets are intrigued by her race in some way, positive or negative. This makes her blunt and often dull to others, but she merely is not completely comfortable when in the presence of strangers. She prefers not to deal with it. She is a good person, and does help others when she can, but will only inconvenience herself to do so, not endanger.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Deity: N/A

Skills:
-Sailor: Rhyn has spent her life on the sea. She can live inside of it, so it only makes sense that she knows how to travel it. She has had the same boat for years now, and she knows how to run it herself.
-Swashbuckler: She knows how to use a sword. It's a light, fleeting style that focuses more on outmaneuvering an opponent instead of overpowering them.
-Physically Fit: She spends almost all of her time swimming and running the rigging of her boat. She is always on her feet and doesn't tire easily.
-Aquatic Harvesting: Having been raised by her elven mother, Rhyn spent most of her young life completely underwater. She can live off of the sea, which is made easy with her ability to breathe underwater. This does not only include essentials such as food or hydration (I'm guessing she can drink seawater, right?), but also skills such seaweed weaving and diving.

Weapons:
-Simple Scimitar: A simple blade crafted from the bone of a large aquatic mammal.
-Harpoon: A long bone shaft, pointed on both ends, good for throwing through the air or water.

Items:
-Boat Rigging
-Three storage barrels
-Clothing

Boat: The Roiling Maiden
Although Rhyn did not name her vessel, she has taken to calling it such with a smirk after she had heard it named such by others during one of few visits to Three Tress - after the strange, nude maiden seen hoisting the vessel's rigging. It is a relatively small vessel, although it could transport a good amount of bodies if it was required. It is approximately 30 feet in length and in recent conditions could house a handful comfortably. At the bow there is a covered space that now acts as Rhyn's boudoir instead of a stowage compartment. It is a sturdy boat that has seen countless storms and rocky waters. A few scratches adorn its hull, but there is no serious damage.

Background:
Rhyn was the half-breed child of an aquatic elf who lived on the outskirts of a relatively small underwater city. She never knew her human father and her mother never told her about him. Growing up was relative uneventful for the aquatic elf. Her home had not undergone the apocalyptic changes as the surface, and the city she knew bustled with activity from the many other aquatic elves that live there. But, Rhyn always looked to the sun. She was ever curious of her father, the world he knew, and just how people could live on the surface at all! In her youth, surfacing only brought the sight of endless sea. Despite her curiosity, the desolation of the surface world scared her from ever exploring it.

In her adolescence, Rhyn was misguided and confused, having never really fit in with the full-blooded elves in her surroundings. They had low opinions of the surface races, though that was because of centuries old bad blood between community leaders and the humans of old, instead of any recent developments, as there were none. As such, she was viewed as different, despite how little her human blood manifested in her in any significant way other than her appearance. Luckily, most people had the decency to merely avoid her and weren't violent or specifically hurtful to her. Despite constantly pestering her mother, she had learned nothing of the surface world, or her own birth. She knew that her story must have been somewhat interesting, due to the rarity of it, but her mother. She took many trips to the surface on her own. She never saw anything unfamiliar. At most, she saw breaching whales in the distance, or a strangely shaped cloud over head. Never any ships, never any birds.

She matured much faster than her peers thanks to her human blood. Rhyn was up and ready to go her own way much before her mother was ready for her to. But, Rhyn in part blamed her mother for her wanderlust, for never having answered the questions she had of her father. She felt no obligation to stay, when she believe the world outside held the answers she wanted. She left home at the age of 20, traveling through different cities owned by her people to little effect. Not long after she left home, she found a letter in her bag, from her mother, explaining the story of her father. Apparently, her mother had once lived on the surface centuries ago, and only resigned to living once again under the water after the Big Wave. But she always missed the surface, so she went back up in hopes of helping the people above. However, the people there were much different than they had been before, and the first humans she met were a group of marauders who captured her and did unspeakable things to her. She fled back to the sea, only to discover she was carrying one of the humans' child. Rhyn continued with her journey, not wanting to go home, and unsure whether or not she still wanted to go to the surface.

She was hoping on gathering information, or meeting people who had been to the surface, but she never really found a place much more willing to interact with her than her home town. Eventually, she just started to drift around, both on the surface of the water and the sea floor. She had continually visited the surface since her childhood, and it was after three years of wandering that she found something on the surface. It was a boat. She saw it long before she surfaced, and if she were ever asked, it was probably one of the most profound moments of her life. So used to empty, endless ocean, and an undisturbed surface, when she actually realized the silhouette she saw was on the surface, she stopped and stared for at least an hour. She didn't know if approaching it was a wonderful or terrible idea. She surfaced, and stalked the boat for a few days before she realized that there was no one aboard.

She boarded the boat, only to discover it was much smaller and less intricate than she expected. The crew, she discovered, was dead. Upon inspection, it looked as though they had run out of supplies and died slowly, one of them missing pieces of his flesh where his brothers had gotten desperate. She pushed there bodies overboard, and took command of the vessel. As time went on, she became familiar with the boat's rigging. While she once hunted with a bone spear, she kept a curved sword from the last owners of her vessel, and taught herself to wield it the best she could. When she gained the courage Rhyn decided to try and find humans with a map that was on the boat, and eventually, she did. Ever since, Rhyn really just travels the ocean, at times returning to Three Trees when she finds herself needed company.
That was longer than expected! It's done now.
I'll be willing to take people onto her boat, but the way I set her up is that she's been alone for a while.
GM, I know you wanted one aquatic elf for reasons, so please let me know if she's up to par!
Finished now! Sorry if it's a bit messy, I'll proof read it again in a little bit.
