"It has been ten years since it happened, and now, here we all are, fighting for our lives among the danger of what is now our world. I suppose you're wonder what happened now huh? Well to put it bluntly, crap hit the fan and the world fell into ruin. The more advanced explanation may also be necessary. In which case - It started exactly ten years ago. Some super secret organization got it in their minds that joining all of earth under one single ruler by force was a brilliant idea. Obviously, looking around you, that went well. Well, what happened was they basically assassinated all persons of power from the world. Yes, that includes Presidents, Kings, Queens, Prime Ministers, everyone of semi-important power. This of course sent the world into chaos until this organization gave a worldwide message. "Obey us, or we will obliterate you and force the others to their knees." Obviously, a lot of people opposed and so, the people of this organization carried out their threat. This however caused worldwide panic. Riots began popping up everywhere, and people started going on killing sprees at the mention of the organization. In a futile act to stop the panic, the organization dropped bombs in multiple cities where there were mass riots and clumps of more dangerous people. These bombs unleashed a gas that when it came into contact with human skin, made their flesh boil and burn, effectively killing them. The bombs did their work in silencing the people - the rioting and murdering stopped, and we all fell into a dark time of silence. Then, something else happened.

In the areas where the bombs had dropped, animals began to mutate and evolve, soon giving way to three new species of megafauna. Among the most common of megafauna were odd dogs that had grown an extra head, an extra tail and their legs had become much stronger, allowing them to stand up on their hind limbs, and their front limbs - now arms - had become lined up to the elbows with small, serrated spikes, and their paws had become more like under-developed hands, tipped in long sharp dagger-like claws. These canines were found to be highly aggressive and traveled in packs of five to ten, attacking everything on site. These canids were dubbed as Vehemendogs. Once they got a scent, they won't stop till either they have killed their prey, or are killed themselves - which is achieved by a shot to the head.

The second megafauna to emerge was a more neutral biased creature. Feline like in nature, these cats were about the size of a small car, with saber teeth that emerge from their top jaws, with three pairs of horns, two curling forwards and one curving back around their heads. They also have large retractable claws and a tail tipped in a sharp blade that has been rumored to slice effortlessly through steel. Often colored a slate grey with darker black stripes these felines were dubbed as Nightigers. They're fairly neutral and can attack on either side, yours or your opponents. Can be brought down by a shot to the heart.

The third was a somewhat passive equine-like creature, not much bigger than your average horse, these animals were very horse-like and resembled the fabled pegasus, but instead of feathers, they have leathery bat wings, and have a row of spikes up their nose and down their neck to their shoulders, as well as two horns that sweep back behind their heads, with tails that instead of hair, are long thin tails ended in a barbed tip. Given a rather boring name of Bathorses, they can be killed by a shot to the head

Once these megafauna were discovered, a lot of things changed. The Vehemendogs killed many people, and the Nightigers killed many as well. The population of the world dwindled until the organization finally realized that this world was a lost cause now. No longer having a place of power, or anyone to govern them, the last few thousand people were lost, and became more nomadic - forming clans and becoming tribes. With the ever looming threat of Vehemendogs, many people started forging weapons and raiding the long abandon cities, occasionally running into newer species of animals, that weren't as evolved as the three megafauna. Things went along like this, until yet another curve ball was thrown to screw us over once more.

A huge solar flare from the sun erupted, and this one had lot of radiation in it, causing many tribes over the world to mutate, becoming more quadrupedal-like creatures, and some even mutating immensely, evenly dispersing humans to mutants. Only a scarce few humans got away unscathed, leaving us where we are now - wreaked, dismantled and crushed, but alive. Now here is the real question, are you ready to join us?"

Name: Verlassën(Pronounced Ver-lass-in)
Gender: Female
Species: Animelious
Age: 16
Appearance:
Dark grey fur covers a slender fox-like frame, built for speed and sheath. Two unusually long fangs protrude from her top jaw, visible without having to curl back her lips as two sabre teeth. She has sharp claws that can cut most durably strong things, like a small bar of steel, and her jaw power is enough to bend metal poles. Striking dark purple eyes set her aside from most creatures, unless you also count the two pale bone horns that sweep back behind her ears and bend back around to the sides of her face. Her legs are fairly long, holding her up to stand at about 3'11". She also has a fox tooth necklace that she had when she was human(Not shown in image).
Bio:
Verlassën had fairly average life. She had high grades, aimed high and moved out at 15. She spent a good few months job searching before getting a job in a magagement building, but it didn't suit her tastes, so she left and looked again. She moved from job to job until a good friend of hers gave her a fox tooth necklace that seemed to make up her mind on where she wanted to work. She sent her resume into the nearby zoo, and within a few days they got back to her, accepting her as a fox trainer.

She was ecstatic that she was granted permission to work with the foxes, and she got a license to take the two she worked with out of the zoo and keep them with her. She had worked with her two foxes - Teal and Russet since they were cubs. Teal was a blue fox while Russet was a red fox. The three of them raised a lot of discussion in her hometown, but as nothing bad every happened, most people left them alone. One day, Verlassën got a letter from a well known zoo in America, asking for her to transfer over to them, and she was allowed to take Teal and Russet with her. She sent a letter back saying that she accepted, and would be there when she could.

She spent the next few months learning more English, as before then she didn't know much, mainly speaking German. Once she was satisfied with her English, she booked her plane tickets and made sure that Teal and Russet were booked into the flights as well. Three days later she was at the airport, getting plenty raised eyebrows when she walked in with Teal and Russet at her sides, their leashes not clipped on but in hand - she'd taught them very well.

They got through customs easily, and she managed to persuade the flight attention and pilots to let her foxes on-board. They were hesitant, but allowed it.((A.N: Psh, yea, like THAT'D happen in real life)) She got many odd looks from other passengers when she sat down, with Teal and Russet jumping onto the chairs beside her. Many children loved the fact that there were fluffy dogs on-board and the two foxes had the time of their lives.

When they touched down in America, there was a car from the zoo waiting there for Verlassën and her two foxes, so once they got into the car, no time was wasted in getting to the zoo. On the way, Verlassën heard about the planetoid on the radio, and discussed it with the other two in the car, who told her it was nothing to worry about. A look at Teal and Russet's fidgety forms told her otherwise.

Never-less, Verlassën and her two foxes where a big hit in the zoo, and they drew in more tourists than ever. As the planetoid drew ever closer it seemed, more and more people were spending their last days doing everything they could - which of course included coming to see Verlassën, Teal and Russet perform. Their fame grew ever bigger, until the planetoid was destroyed, and everyone seemed to forget they ever existed. It was a huge blow, but they still pulled through. Until of course, the mist came.

The mist came overnight while Verlassën was playing with Russet and Teal, and when it came, the two foxes panicked, racing off and hiding. Verlassën knew they would return and so she quietly walked back into her house, calling them, and the two foxes came running in, glad to be inside. Shutting the door, she went to bed and fell asleep, not aware that she was changing form as she slept.

She woke up and stretched, yawning as she jumped out of bed, her four paws hitting the ground with a startled yelp. She looked around , before looking at herself. dark grey fur covered her entire body and a large bushy tail swished back and forth. Teal and Russet sniffed her curiously, somehow knowing it was still their trainer and friend, their tails wagged as they yipped at her, before beckoning with their tails for her to follow them.

She learned a lot about her new form while running with her foxes. For one, she was a lot faster than them, and she had two horns that curved back around her head. Her necklace was still there, but it seemed that all her other clothes had ripped or were gone. She started trotting back to the zoo, with Russet and Teal following her as they so often did.

When she got to the zoo however, the other zookeepers thought her as an escaped animal and tried to catch her. She realized too late why, and by then she had been caught and put into the fox cage with Russet and Teal. She howled in despair, before pacing back and forth. Eventually she settled for testing out her new form, and was very surprised when a small blue flame appeared in front of her, before disappearing. She practiced with the flames for a bit before ice forming on her horns caught her eyes.

She stayed in the cage for a few days honing her skills, and soon she was fluent with her ice and fire, though her new one - shadows still exhausted her extremely quickly. Eventually she got sick and tired of staying in the cage and when the locked up the zoo for the night, Verlassën took her chance. She gripped the bars in her teeth and twisted it, using all her might. The pole gave way with a snap and then, she was free. Looking back to Russet and Teal, she barked at them, and looking at each other, then at her, the three of them parted ways, hoping one day to meet each other again.
Powers:

Weaknesses:

Other: Has a slight German accent. She still hopes Russet and Teal are still alive, but doubts it(Though I plan on her meeting up with them again eventually)
hey, juuuust makin' sure~ x3

I'll get my app up soon. *goes digging for tablet and pen*
Look what the Lugia dragged in! x3 jokes. I'm thinking of jumping in with a character, but would that muck things up with any plots too much?

Floating in the clearing was a massive flying snake. It was green with yellow circle markings down it's back. It was separated into four segments, and each connector had four green fins with red around the edge. The tail looked kind of like a harpoon, with four small fins in an arrow shape. The first segment connector had two green and red fins with two small arms. It's head was arrow - shaped, with two long horns on the top of it's head and two smaller ones on it's cheeks. It had one yellow eye with black around it and one ice blue eyes with blood red around it. It also had a pinkish-red color around it's mouth and two visible teeth.

It roared out, floating to the side to allow the absol herself step forwards. She grins up at the Rayquaza, who gives Glass a mock bow.

"Thank you Ray for that modest introduction. I hope you enjoy browsing my artwork, and I'll be very happy to do any artwork for you, but here are a few rules." She says, nodding towards a large sign where it shows a few pictures and a bit of writing. You go to read it, and when you turn around, Glass and Ray are gone, leaving you in a gallery of artwork for you to browse.
