Paragon's End [Modern/Fantasy/Anime/Adventure]

Zuri wakes up from her deep slumber, stretching her arms before sliding off the bed and onto her feet. She heads into the bathroom and swiftly brushes her teeth, washes her face with some cold water, and does her hair. Zuri gets into her usual casual attire which consists of a plain solid color t-shirt and some shorts, white with a few splashes of color and dark grey respectively.

She opens the door and closes it behind her, noticing the smell of breakfast from not that far away. She follows the scent all the way to the table where all the food was at. While all of that food did look appetizing, she decides to only eat a single slice of toast and a glass of apple juice to wash it all down when she was done. Without any jam, she consumes the entire piece of toast in under one minute and downs all of the juice within seconds.

Since Zuri was still familiarizing herself with her rediscovered powers, time flew past quite quickly as many hours has past since. She looks at the clock and noticed that it was quite late and it was time to catch some sleep. She undresses and climbs onto her bed and rests her head on the pillow, subconsciously turning her entire room into complete darkness where not even a speck of light was present. A few minutes go by and she falls asleep.

Zuri has been trying her best to regain her abilities she used to have, and even though she got into the swing of things with her powers over the past few days, there is still a lot she has to do from practice and experience but she can make herself useful to the team. Abilities such as traversing through shadows very quickly, solidifying shadows to create a weapon of any shape, manipulating existing shadows to a certain extent. Nothing impressive but it's progress that she is quite happy with for now. She can also strike fear into people by temporarily amplifying her darkness aura which makes her look more intimidating in exchange for burning her mana reserves. There are a few other things Zuri can do, but right now her current abilities are quite passive.

Zuri starts eating the food but also pays attention to what Felix had to say. Once he finished what he had to say, Zuri doesn't really care much about what he said other than the last sentence, something about spending the free time she has on training. The food was delicious, and soon nothing was left on either of her plates. Both the main dish and the crepe was really nice and filling, especially the rice. "That was really nice.." she says softly, referring to the food she just had.

Zuri's sad expression turned to a smile when she heard what Nemo said. "Okay!" She replies before heading over to the table as she waits patiently for the food to get served. 'I wonder what's for breakfast..' Zuri ponders as her stomach growls quietly.

Zuri could feel the darkness within her slowly flowing through her once again after receiving mana from Alya. She wanted to try out her powers, but was abruptly disturbed by a huge growl from her stomach. It was at that moment when she experienced how it feels when you haven't eaten anything for thousands of years. 'I could eat anything right about now..' she thought to herself.

Wandering around and exploring the environment that she'll stay for the time being, she heads towards the kitchen as she followed the scent of food that started to take over. "That smells good." Zuri comments before turning a corner and stands at the doorway of the kitchen and asks "I'm starving! Is there something I can eat.. Please?" with her hands on her empty stomach as if she was in pain.

"It's fine, I understand." She replied Alya with a smile after she put up a barrier. Zuri watched as Alya channels her magic, a stream of light slowly finding its way to her as it started flowing deep inside of her. "A-Aaah.." She lets out a soft moan of discomfort, but it slowly started to feel better after a little while.

Zuri unconsciously converts Alya's bright light blue mana into dark black before it enters her. 'I wonder why it's black..' She thought to herself. Alya's mana transfusion was coming to an end, and it surprisingly turned out quite smoothly. It felt very refreshing since she was deprived of mana for such a long time. The dark color also reminded her that her powers revolved around darkness. Zuri ran over to Alya and hugged her tightly and said "Thank you Alya!"

Zuri smiled when Nemo said she looked lovely. "T-Thanks.." She says as she ran her left hand through her hair and circles around to the back of her ear, blushing just a little bit. "Hey Nemo, I feel a bit empty inside.. I'm not sure what I should do." Zuri says as she has her right hand on her chest. She was referring to her mana reserves stored within her, but she couldn't find the right words as she doesn't remember a lot of things. However, there's a chance that what she said could be misunderstood.

Zuri smiled as Nemo bowed and left. She opened the door and went in, closing the door behind her but not locking it. Surprised at how nice it looked, she felt relived that she has such a nice place to stay for the time being. 'A shower..'

She went into the bathroom and saw the knob Nemo was talking about earlier. Zuri pushes the door half shut and starts taking off the little of what she had covering herself and steps into the shower. Zuri twists the red and blue knob simultaneously and warm water reigned down on her.

Pleasantly surprised at how it felt, she looked around and saw a bottle with the words "Body Wash". She gets a bit of it in both her hands and starts rubbing her hands against her smooth skin. Bubbles formed as she ran her hands along her body as she enjoyed her first shower in a few thousand years. The water washed away all the soap.

Zuri proceeds to wash her hair with the bottle that was labelled "Shampoo".The scent of sweetness and fruitiness enveloped her hair as she started scratching her head and washing it off. Zuri washes all the soap off and gets out to dry herself off.

She walks out of the toilet completely naked and starts searching through the closet which was filled with tons of clothing, and of course, undergarments. She picks a pair of pink panties with white spots on it and a matching bra to go along with it before she looks through the clothes in the main compartment of the closet and picks out a light blue t-shirt with a pair of white shorts.

"I wonder what the others are up to.." She says to herself before heading back out and down the stairs. "How do I look Nemo?" Zuri asks with uncertainty, wondering if she looked weird with what she wore.

Zuri runs her hands through her hair and blushes a bit when he complimented her hair. What he said about not knowing who she is managed to put her mind at ease just a bit. Zuri also found Nemo's magical demonstration quite amusing as well. She still doesn't recall that she has powers herself, and with the lack of mana within her, the chances of accidentally casting something is minuscule. "Can you bring me to my room? I wouldn't want to get lost wandering around here.." She asks Nemo.
