Personality:
Elijah Ford has a huge distaste for authority. Especially figures that would abuse it. From the lowly bully to dirty law enforcement. His loyalty is almost second to none. Almost. He believes in doing the right things and helping out when he can. How its not all that common for him to take the wrong path to do the right thing.
Biography:
He was among the first taken to Curdon Cay. His time spent was mostly alone in a barely lit glass box. When he wasn't a lone. He was being forced to train and control his powers, sometimes even made to fight other conduits. At first everything was simple. Make shapes, then blades, then weapons, then projectiles. It was almost like he was being made into a walking, talking weapon. He loathed every second of it.
His punishment for not complying was to be robbed of food and water. Then he was robbed of electricity. The food and water weren't so bad but he couldn't stranded be robbed of his electricity. That drove him mad. He needed and wanted it more than anything else. To be without electricity, was an itch he couldn't scratch and addiction that he couldn't feed.
When his freedom came he promised himself, no one would do that again. No one would take his freedom or his pride away from him. Stripped of all dignity and any sense decency, it was a wonder that he didn't kill himself or a prison worker. Although he wished he had.
Now in New York city. He spends his free time trying to get his life back together. If there was one thing he learned from his time in Cay. He really did enjoy working out and fighting.
He earns a living selling stolen energy in exchange for goods and service's. Whatever he may need. Anything from food to a place to sleep, couple of beers to a place to wash his clothes.
Power: Electrokinesis\ Electromagnetism
Power-: Electrokinesis- Using this power he can harness and to a certain degree control electricity. In doing so he can create shapes and small animals. They do nothing more than entrain. Yet it's something he takes pride in.
Eli can fire bolts of lightning in three forms. Some what weak but rapid bolts. Moderately powerful and quick. The final form is very strong but not quick to be fired. With this he can also fire lightning bolts at long ranges with precision.
He can also use his abilities as a conduit to augment his natural fighting abilities. To do this he will gather electricity at any point of contact. He can form bladed weapons for even more power.
As most all conduits he needs recharge at some point. When be recharges he can heal most all wounds at a much higher rate. As well as all the expected places to recharge he is more than capable and willing to steal someone else's life to recharge.
Finally he can use Electromagnetism. His skill with it is weak for the most part. Only being able to pick up objects and throw them or set them down. His favorite skill to do this with is a lightweight metal object that he can use to travel on. He has yet to learn how to do this for any length of time. It is also a rare this for him to do as it could very easily bring unwanted attention.
Other: Ford can often be seen abusing his powers when ever he gets the chance. Even if its just snapping his fingers making a clap of thunder. Just for the hell of it.
