"Is there evee anything I want you and the Newts to know? How are they anyhow? Saving the city of New York in all its questionable majesty?" Eli's tone was sardonic to say the least. Ash probably didn't do anything to warnt such an attack but why not? He had to have done something somewhere to have it coming. Then again who didn't have it coming? Eli was without question one who did. He had dine many shitty things since his time in the Cay. He wasn't one with the idea of going completely straight. The idea of not having any fun and blending back into the world and becoming a nameless, faceless human being did not appeal to him at all.
