"Let me tell you a story about you and me. I used to roam the skies alone, until you called for me. You were called Rabbit Girl, and you were born on a planet I roamed once long ago called Earth. Rabbit Girl could create as many rabbits as she wanted with the wave of her hand. She fed me when I was starving. She fixed the lonely ache in my heart. She made me feel alive once more. We ran free for many months, and I no longer felt the urge to eat the rabbits. I tolerated them, allowed them to jump onto my back and curl up in the cold rain. Rabbit Girl would use the stars in my fur to make constellations. She would say, 'Starwolf, what do you think of that one?' And what could I say? I agreed with her as the stars appeared on my flanks as well as in the sky.
"We had roamed for decades together, obeying the one rule I had asked over her. Never look me in the eye. For my eyes were all the suns in the galaxy, and would blind poor Earth-borns if they looked at me. Whenever she asked me a question, she would stare at the moon on my forehead, or the stars through my fur, or at my great big paws. I never wanted her to look at me."
"One day, I just got so exhausted that I fell into a horribly long sleep. When I awoke, Rabbit girl was gone. I ran across the Earth four times looking for her until I came across her rabbits. They led me to her, hidden away in a large building, chained to a pipe with a human skull in her hands. The man who held her captive, Early Bird, fought me for her. I ended him quickly. Drawing Rabbit Girl's mask over her face, I took her away. It was there, in her red car with the doors flung open, that I realized I loved her. For the first time ever, I looked at Rabbit Girl's eyes. She was asleep, so she didn't even notice. But I moved my foot, or my tail or made a noise, because her eyes snapped open, staring right into mine"
"We locked eyes for days, months even, but neither of us could look away. I could tell I was blinding her. I could not look away, though my heart was breaking. When it was finished, Rabbit Girl curled up in a ball and screamed bloody murder. Her rabbits watched on. I took her to the humans in hope that they could heal her. They did."
"With her sight restored, I longed to talk to her. I ran to her and nuzzled her and praised her, but she could no longer see me. The humans erased part of her magic... the part that believed in me."
"Now you take solace in the human skull you cradle like a babe. Your memory is wiped clean of me, though I follow you in desperation, hoping, pleading you'll see me again. You never will. In the dark, it is I who curls up next to you and keeps you warm. When you look up at the sky and see no stars, that's because they are within you. You read books that tell you I don't exist but you just need to listen a little longer, look a little harder. I yearn for our friendship once more. For days where you told me stories. About us. "you know what, Weirdly I feel like a cat," Oliver said and then Feeling a what could possibly be a Heart attack. Pausing. Olivers Pupils Grew and he began to Shrink a lot, and slowly Grew fur and Cat ears, *what did they inject me with!* oliver thinks as he shrinks like crazy that he could no longer be seen. There was just a pile of Clothes on the ground. and Oliver felt very Small. Oliver Walked out of the clothing. He looked like a Black and white cat weirdly, Oliver Attempts to say "What the heck is happening!" but it just comes out as a bunch of Meows*I hate this experiment already*
Gwen grinned at the small feline and stepped forward, he could feel the other muscle that controlled his animal form but he wasn't sure how to make is work, it certainly wasn't like flexing his arm, he tried a bunch of different variations before anything happened, next thing Gwenhuvar knew he was a five hundred pound lion standing roughly four and a half feet tall at the shoulder. Dropping his head he sniffed at Oliver and gave an amused pur
Gwenhuvar looked at Shemp and straightened and cleared his throat "A Mantis Shrimp? Why ever would you choose to turn into a shrimp" Gwen trailed off not wanting to hurt the other boys feelings, he stretched arching his back and letting out a loud groan then turned to look at the group "I'm a lion, though it wasn't so much my choice as it was thrusted upon me" he rubbed the back of his head
I'd like it if my character didn't have to half his form, more just boom he's a lion, booms he's human again, like muscle reflex, not half way done. He can't control it yet so it's at random. If that is acceptable
A guard escorted Gwen to the Gym opening the door and holding it open for him, Gwen slid inside and looked at the array of people before him, his golden eyes casting from face to face before closing momentarily then opening only for him to move to the wall and lean against it, he let his long golden hair fall over his eyes before he sighed audibly and blew out a breath. Gwen stared at the floor for a long moment and practically breathed a "Hello" it was so silent.
Name: Gwenhuvar Valhalla Age: 21 Appearance: Animal: Bio: Gwen had lived a life of luxury living under his uncles thumb, his uncle had worked himself to the point of crippling his body as a farmer, waking up before the sun to tend to the crops Gwen had helped him as a young boy, sweating beside his uncle to till the land for harvest, to plow the fields and move the cattle, it had been hard work, but when his uncle could do it no longer he retired, sold the farm, all four hundred head of cattle, the two story house he has built, all in all they had enough money to live comfortably for years. Gwen had lived with just his uncle his whole life, his father ditching him when his mother died and rode off into the sunset (in porche) when he was only a year old, his aunt had died at a young age from cancer and it was just him and his uncle. They had bought a house in the big city and his uncle raised him to be loyal and noble, sent him to school and taught him manners and how to be a man. When Gwen graduated he had stayed home to see to his uncles care since he was crippled from the waist down. They had nice things, expwnsive things, so it was no wonder when a pair of theives stole into his house one night and raided the place, his uncle had heard the commotion and went to investigate, Gwen had been off running errands when he came home to front door wide open, dropping the groceries and running inside he stumbled upon the two burglars who were grabbing the last of his Aunts jewelry, Gwen picked up the shotgun that was laying against the table and shot them both quickly never alerting their attention. Upon finding his uncle dead in the kitchen slumped on the floor at the front of his wheelchair he came undone, breaking down he began to cry holding his Uncle in his arms. The cops came several hours later to find the three dead bodies all with shotgun wounds and Gwen crumpled on the floor, they attempted to ask him questions and he refused to answer, never looking away from his only parent, one of the cops got rough demanding he speak to them and tell them why he had killed everyone and Gwenhuvar lost it, shooting to his feet he grabbed the cop and pushed him backwards through the two story window screaming words incapable of comprehension. They booked him on murder and left it at that, he was sent to jail. The warden had read his file and felt bad for the young man, he kept tabs on him and watched him as he moved like a shadow his first few days, never speaking to anyone. The Warden got him into the testing program hoping to get him out of the jail where he didn't belong.
Firefrost rolled over snapping his golden eyes open causing a cascade of ice crystals to shoot in all directions, peering around his cave he shook out his mane causing another avalanche of frost and ice to fall free from his body. He stretched out his claws digging them into the frozen cave floor and arched his back expanding his wings, he glanced upwards where the layer of ice he had formed over his cave entrance now more like a hole in the ground gave off the ever so smallest hint of light meaning that it was daylight outside. It had been a long time since he had woken last, at least a hundred years, though this time he felt he was needed, he felt it was time to emerge from his ice kingdom below the ground in the northern hemisphere of frosted ice caps and a desolate snowy wasteland and fly East, to the human empires. Rising his head and spreading his wings far Firefrost burst through the ice causing an explosion of shards to fly upwards with him as he rose in altitude stretching his massive wings and giving a loud roar of his awakening which echoed off the glaciers and spread his voice farther than normal. He twisted his body around and began the long flight out of his icey wasteland.
