We have yet to decide on a single month to start from, there are proposals for both January and December, I might settle on a compromise for June/July.

For research, it would be easier to start on January 1st, because then anything that is supposed to have happened in 1953 is fair game and we don't have to look into the specifics on the date of it's something we want to avoid (which would just slow down the process)
