I'm not. I'm petitioning for them to have some effect, particularly because the assassination is next year anyways. My concern is mostly addressed to the GM of the game (Chairman Stein) as he has final say.

And he actually had an aide who wanted him to increase his security detail because he like going to meet the people a lot and the aide was worried he would be shot.

Good question. Glad you asked. For natural deaths or deaths in accidents, I will stick with OTL times of death. Assassinations may be averted in case certain conditions aren't met. That said, Umberto I, Victoria, and McKinley are done for.

That's going to happen regardless since we haven't changed anything before 1900. However, your game decisions influence the following elections. That said, I'm shit at US history so don't expect the most fluent alternate history.

Except the election of 1900 happened in November of 1900, so it would be subject to change.
