I enjoy a good story! Even more so if it's intriguing enough to suck me right into it, as though I were there alongside the characters. I've been through a wide range of characters over the years and often if I am joining a story I'll ask around as to what the others feel they are missing in the story character wise and develop one to fill in any gaps.

OOC chatter is good too if people aren't in the mood to be in character, right? Writing is based off a lot of things and how people are feeling at a particular time can impact their IC writing drastically. Some people prefer planning certain things out OOC and I'm ok with that also.

I guess I'd say I'm very opened minded. Always encouraging newer writers to just start writing. Details or the etiquette of their writing doesn't really matter much to me! only that they are getting it out.

I'm open to writing for a wide range of genres, but I will specify this though! I live in reality, so I do not enjoy writing about it. Mostly fantasy and anything that does not feel too real.

I'm a fantasy writer at heart though, and I enjoy planning out worlds to base novels and stories in ahead of time, so that when I am ready, I can just focus on the story writing while not having to worry about how anything in particular will fit into the world or worlds the story is set in. Probably one of the downsides to this preference is that world building can take a long time!

Ooooh real good idea... Perhaps the inner part of the city can be the elevated section whereas the lower classes would have to live on lower, more dangerous ground? Thus giving us an excuse to make dinos a daily threat?I hold no preference. I'll probably go with whichever you guys prefer the most.

yeah they could all live in settlements in and around the lake and planes, but the actual palace, that could reside within the cliff. I'd even go as to say there's like a haven within the palace that sees actual sunlight or something like that.
I'd be interested. some mythical creatures thrown into the mix would be fine too. Perhaps they are more willing to work along side humans against the new menace?

As per your starting kingdom? Why not have a fortitude embedded into a cliff side, elevated off the ground a bit. Some kind of cavernous palace and city. Overlooking a lake and some rolling plains. Waterfalls trickling down the cliff side and through the palace. It would provide us with safety from ground things, and still a need to defend against flying creatures.

What are your thoughts, in regards to casual, or advanced level RP ?
okies I posted sorry for the delay. I'm flying on a whim here, with where we're supposed to be travelling, so if we can tie it all together some how that'd be helpful.
absently tugging at the hooded woman pendant about his neck, Darious couldn't help immersing himself in the early morning breeze. So full of secrets in the wake of night it was; hush hush words trapped a midst the rush of the wind as the Bloated Weasel moved towards their new destination. He still had much to learn of his sword, and the secrets lost to the winds were just blurs and murmurs, vague echoes of the reminiscent night winds but he knew, the more he studied and listened, the more they would reveal.

He breathed in the cool breeze as the captain's words found him "My sources tell me there was an assassination at the great palace of Lan Last night, mere hours before we left!" he began as he moved towards Vidal. "The contact is offering a handsome reward for the capture of the assassin, a former general of the empire's own army. But naturally, I'm sure the actual empire is offering a much more handsome reward so I intend to deliver the bounty directly to the empire." The mercenaries eyes narrowed in thought for a moment and he chuckled at the irony of it all. "An airship was seen travelling westward away from the palace shortly after the alarm within the palace walls had been raised. But unfortunately that's all the information I have right now."

Darious could only hope they would catch up to the ship. There were only a few places west that one would travel if they were attempting to disappear, and he had most of them marked on the old map parchment he carried with him. They would have to sop at a few villages dotting the area and he shuddered at the thought. All the maidens he had spent nights with, and the mobs of brothers and fathers that almost inadvertently always managed to find out.

He recalled the first part of Vidal's question just then, and chuckled "There are many that would wish me dead I'm sure, but no, I am no bounty... At least not of the Empire anyway!" He clasped the captain on his shoulder and nodded, before disappearing below to find some breakfast.
it seems my air ship pilot has dropped off the radar. I'll work on a post if I haven't heard anything by tomorrow evening.

hmmm did I lose my air ship captain? I can always time skip to the mountains but I'll wait a while to see what happens.
