Hmm I like to leave it up for others, if you think it would be more interesting for Alan to find her or if you think it'd be better for me to interact with unknowable
Captain Keer Tucker was moving before the confirmation from Colonel Vale had come through. Empire day was one of the most important events for any man in the Imperial military, and Keer had a very important job to do. Vale had placed him in charge of security at the palace for the upcoming "ceremony" the Governor would no doubt be hosting for all his fat rich friends. Vale had stressed the importance of nothing going wrong as regular Imperial troops were rarely able to provide security at the palace, and Tucker had made the place air tight. No one got in or out without one of his officers cleraing it with Tucker first. He was on his way to the hanger now, for a number of reasons.

First and foremost was in order to personally recieve the Governor and colonel Vale and escort them to where they needed to be. Another reason was Vale informing Keer to expect another high ranking Imperial officer to arrive soon, who they were or what part of the Imperial army they were a part of had not been discussed. That made Keer more than a little nervous, why the hush hush on this new officer? He had his suspicions of course, personally he thought it must be some COMPNOR agent or something, not that his opinion really mattered. ALmost on cue, his lieutenant in the hangar informed him of an approaching Imperial shuttle. "Has it provided landing codes? Are they correct? Then why the hell are you asking me what to do you blithering idiot, let them through!" Keer sighed, some of his "officers" probably couldn't keep their uniforms clean without help, he had already had to court marshal one of them for incompetence in his first month on Boonta. And now, one of them needed Keer to micromanage his fucking job for him, seeing as he may have almost shot down an Imperial shuttle carrying the very officer Vale told Tucker about.

As he entered the hangar proper Keer could see his lieutenant wasn't COMPLETELY useless, he had managed to get his troopers in neat lines flanking where the Governors shttle was set to land. Keer also saw the other shuttle taking off, without the one passenger who had disembarked from it. Before Keer could move to intercept the officer the Governors shuttle entered the hangar, Keer cursed himself and hustled up next to his lieutenant, "Just in time sir, not a moment to late", Tucker sneered at him, "A good officer is never late, and dosen't need his superiors to do his bloody job for him" the young officer got the message and turned to face the approaching shuttle, afraid of making anymore mistakes in front of his captain. Tucker smiled as the shuttle landed, it was good his men feared him, made them work harder.

As the shuttle ramp descended Captain Keer Tucker's smile disappeared, replaced with the stern neutral look all officers were supposed to have, and as the Governor exited the craft followed by Vale, "Governor, you'll find everything is in order and the palace is more secure than it has ever been.", he saluted as they exited, prepared to escort them or recieve new orders from Vale as necassary.
Finally posted whew
Astra had been without food for two days, and she had run out of water yesterday... things weren't looking good. As she sat, squatting in an old apartment complex behind a ruined couch that was covered in burns, with a blackened skeleton lying where it had died when the bombs dropped. In front of her were her guns and ammunition, a hunting rifle and 10 shots, and her 10mm pistol with about a clip and a half. She sighed as she loaded her guns, lamenting her hunger and thirst, and got ready to move on in search of something, anything to eat.

She moved not unlike a cat through the ruined apartments of New york, though her ill fitting armor did slow her down somewhat. As she moved from building to building building over wooden ramps that had been erected over time or over collapsed staiwells, she wondered what had happened back in Vault 81 after everyone else learned it was open... would anything change at all? She was sure nothing would change for her sisters, or her mother or the Overseers other wives... the Overseer... could how angry was he when he discovered Astra had escaped? Did he abuse his other wives in retribution? Or worse, could he be looking for her? She had considered it a possibility from the first day she ran, being his favorite plaything. Though she hadn't seen anything for the month or so she had been gone now... as she had gone as far as she could as fast as possible and had only recently needed to forage for food and water extensively.

She fell, Astra had been deep in thought she had not been paying attention to her footing and had taken a nasty fall into a hole in one of the apartments she was moving throughs floorboards. she tumbled a fair distance before catching herself on a length of inactive electrical wire that was haning from the ruined walls of the old complex. It hurt, alot, but she didn't think she had seriously hurt herself... then he saw it. A huge building, long and tall with coloumns and huge doors. AS she was hanging upside down and looking through a giant hole in the wall of an apartment she couldn't see a whole lot else. After getting down and disentangling herself from thw wires Astra decided to get a closer look.

She got to just outside of the doors and had crouched behind a car when she saw them. Walking down the steps were three men in what looked like power armor walking down the steps up to the entrance. Two of them had books in their arms, while the third one simply walked out in front. He appeared as though he had been talking to someone inside the building. The men looked like what the Overseer said the old U.S. army looked like... she decided to stay put until they were gone, considering herself small enough to avoid being seen... she hoped as three large and heavily armored men didn't it well with her.
@Ciphra well, other than what is already stated, there isn't a whole lot. The ,ost important thing I suppose is the way that wife ownership works. FOr one men are not allowed to maarry their daughters, the overseer forbids it to keep the genepool diverse enough to keep the vault self sustaining. Another rule is any girl not married by the age of eight is either killed or submitted to the "communal" birthing group, a large part of the female population ends up here as not all women are considered desirable enough to be a wife. NO man other than the overseer can have more than 10 wives, this is again to keep any one man from controlling to much of the gene pool
hey @Ciphra, if you want info on 81 I'd be happy to provid it!

Yea, plus they are like... 2 or 3 times stronger than regular men as well so... pretty useful
Of course, I was just making the offer friend!
I'll even write fir him in collab post if you'd like (unless you'd rather write for him yourself)
Go ahead the overseer would be pretty pissed his prized wife killed two men and escaped. I'm sure he'd supply soldiers if the enclave agreed to help find her and bring her back
