Appearance: Noriko stands at about average height with short light brown hair she holds back with a white headband and hazel eyes. She wears a white, short-sleeved, button-up blouse that is tucked underneath a long, light blue skirt that reaches her ankles. She has comfy brown flats on her feet and the only accessories she dares wear are chocolate brown pearl earrings that are a memento of her mother.
Personality: A rather shy and soft-spoken girl who tries to avoid the limelight whenever she can, Noriko gets flustered easily in most social situations. Her introverted nature makes it difficult for her to make even the smallest of small talk with strangers, much less friends. She also doesn't believe she is worth the trouble to speak with which adds to her aversion of social interaction. To deal with her loneliness and low self-esteem, Noriko retreats to her books and whimsical imagination. She dreams of someday experiencing an epic adventure like the ones described in her favorite fantasy novels with a group of people she would eventually form strong ties with. She is quite observant and also has the tendency to think of the craziest answer or reason to a question. However, she keeps her imaginative things to herself, confident that she'll make a fool out of herself.
Biography: Noriko's mother died soon after her birth and her father escaped the pain by throwing himself into his work, leaving Noriko alone in an empty apartment. It was through books that taught her to take care of herself while also giving her some outlet to her loneliness. Throughout her school-life, she was often times bullied by her peers because of her quiet nature or flat out ignored, further pushing Noriko to have a negative outlook on herself. She is, however, the apple of most teachers' eyes because of her good grades and respectful personality towards authority figures. This doesn't help her social standing with her classmates though.
