I have a questionI know your closed, but I read the rules and the description and all and it sounds interesting. Do you think that the canon will ever be open at any point or is it closed for good?I don't particularly mind if it's closed for good, I'm just curious.

I'll consider it if you send me a sample and I really like what I see.

Eh. The Lazy Bum would work. Alternatively if that's a bit too crass then something like The Freed Vagrant/Drifter?

I like the last one, I already used lazy to describe my character. Man, we have a lot of lazy residents.
Posted! And it's not the best! :D
Althea knew she couldn't stand by that doorway forever. Kali and Zac were her very best friends and they had been through so much together. She felt terrible for putting Kali to sleep and guilty that Zac had to save her but... they were all still alive. And that's what counted, right? Finally, after what seemed like ages (or rather a good month and a half), Althea finally stepped out of the shadows and into the small room where the two rested.

"Uh, hey guys..." She greeted softly, "Um, how are you all feeling?" Dammit, why was she acting so nervous? This wasn't like her at all!

"By the way, dinner's ready. Everyone is waiting for us and Katara wanted to check on both your wounds." There, that was the problem. Althea was walking fine and had only a few bruises and scrapes. Kali had a good number of burns on her before she treated them and Zac had dislocated a shoulder trying to save the green-haired girl from falling over the cliff side. No wonder she felt like crap...
Also Zombehs, I had no idea what to give Dan as a nickname... TT_TT
Soundbyte, you didn't send me a sample. Plus we're closed. My fault for not putting it on the first post but I don't think it would have mattered since you didn't read it at all.
Sonya raised an eyebrow at the beautiful red-haired woman descending the staircase. For a moment, she briefly wondered if this was the mistress his great uncle might have left behind as the woman began to greet her. Well, Sonya thought she was greeting her. She couldn't really tell from the woman's thick Irish accent. But from her facial expressions and after a moment of decoding the message, it was clear that it was not a greeting. More like a warning to turn back.

"Um, I don't know who you are but this is my home lady." Sonya replied. She wasn't one for confrontations but dammit, she wanted her inherited house. It was the prime example of that one phrase. Although it was crappy on the outside, it was gorgeous on the inside. And she wanted it so bad. Before she could say anything more, she heard a noise to her left. Turning her attention away from the red-head (which was surprisingly hard to do since the lady was freakin' gorgeous), Sonya's eyes widened when she saw another figure standing inside her supposedly empty house. The figure had a blanket draped over her head, muffling her voice. But Sonya could still feel the woman's (?) gaze trained on her without having to get a good look of her face.

"Wait, don't tell me you live here to? This place was supposed to be dese-" A loud crash in the sitting room made Sonya spin around where out of nowhere, a guy suddenly appeared unconscious in the middle of the floor. This time, Sonya made no movement to acknowledge the third mysterious person and simply turned back to the first stranger she met.

"What the hell is going on?!" She yelled, finally reaching her boiling point. One could only take so many strangers infiltrating her new home.
Where do you get these fabulous pictures Solace?!
POSTED AFTER YOU! And hopefully not isolating the conversation.
I looked over the girl quietly and let her words directed at me sink in. It was then that I realized I had balled up my fists in anger. And it wasn't because this girl was insulting me. No, it was what she had said about herself. That she could choose where to go and what to do with her life. It wasn't anger that was racing through me, but jealousy. I wanted that...

I immediately put a lid over that train of thought. It was an ugly place to go to and I had already dealt with those issues a long time ago. No need to be bringing it back up for everyone to see. Instead, I relaxed my hands and gave her a careless shrug. "Right, don't say I didn't warn you," I stated calmly, "I'm just trying to give you some advice. But if you want to be the anomaly, go right ahead. As long as you don't take us out along the way then I'm good." I could clearly sense her hostility towards me and thought it would be best to back track a little. If she was going to be spending more time with us, it would have been better to clear the air now when impressions were still fresh. So, giving her the best smile I could muster after pulling myself up from my almost nervous breakdown, I extended my hand to the girl I know knew as Hanna.

"By the way, I'm Ray. Ray Seung." I announced. Gazing up at her, I felt uneasy once more and began to rub the back of my neck with my other hand. It was one of my many nervous ticks. Though I grew out of most of them, this one didn't seem to let up. At least I tried to avoid nerve-wracking situations as much as possible. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to hang out with this new girl.
