Althea was ecstatic to see the fire come back in Kali's eyes as the two girls walked back into the clearing where everybody was still gathered. It was so reassuring to see her best friend take initiative again, especially since she wasn't ready to talk to Zuko one-on-one again. The awkward end to their last conversation was still fresh in the green-haired girl's mind, making her blush. She shook those thoughts away as she made her way towards Zac sitting by the fire. Althea plopped down next to him and gave him a grin.
"Hey buddy, how you doing?" She asked excitedly, obviously in a much better mood than earlier. However, she noticed the worried, almost fearful look in Zac's eyes and her grin slowly began to fall. "Zac, are you okay?" She asked softly as she placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.
