But we're still on for that Making the Band subplot right?
Omg he sounds adorable.

So next plot: A magician comes to Vendrello and everyone goes to see him, whether by their own will or dragged along. Some misunderstanding happens and they start a fight with him before Vector or Sonya comes in and introduces the Mist Guardian candidate.
No rush.
I did. And fight's done.

NEXT CHALLENGER
Benjamin's hit to Sonya's shoulder felt like a light tap to the trained assassin but she could still tell that there was a good amount of force behind it. Yet, she was more impressed by his ability to actually hit her while he dodged her fast attack. Speed is obviously his strongest skill. She noted as she took a step back to analyze his reaction to her own hit. During her fight with Cyril, she didn't hear his voice mixed in with the rest of the group conversing about their chances in battle. Quick glances showed he was just watching her, studying every move she made. Even now, he still had that analytic look on his face. He's already showing signs of a good Cloud Guardian.

It was then than Sonya noticed Benjamin roll his shoulder indicating that her attack had affected him more than he expected. Let's see how durable you are behind that sword. Sonya lunged forward with another spear-hand attack aimed at Ben's sword arm and he responded by bringing the rapier down to parry her hand. However, she suddenly pulled away just as the blade swung down, leaving him open. Sonya chopped his wrist, making him drop the sword before placing three swift strikes at his opposite shoulder, rib cage and hip. She finished with a leg sweep, knocking him over and onto his back. She looked down on him for a few moments before turning back to the group.

"Two down." She announced, her voice tinged with superiority. Abby shuddered again, awed by how this fight ended as quickly as the last. Speaking of the last fight...

"How's your arm?" She whispered to Cyril who took a seat next to her, still cradling his injured arm. She wondered if she needed to go inside and get some more ice. Or a sling.
I'm sure he is, lol. Who's posting next?
... I forgot about our interest check. Well, just in case I kinda gave the link to this rp to my other friend who was also interested. Dunno when he'll post but if he ever does, I'll let him know the Mist Guardian position has been filled.

And I'll have the fight finished in an hour or so.
Nice job!
Sorry for the late post. Finals are killing me.
Eva had pulled out her rifle once more to provide cover for Merrick and Hertha as they ran to the ship and felt just a hint of jealously when she saw the captain effortlessly use his devil fruit abilities to lift him and the giant woman onto the deck. If she wasn't so prideful, she would have asked him how he had come to master his powers. Once they were on board, Eva slung her rifle over her shoulder and placed one boot on top of the wall of the crow's nest. She looked over it for just a moment, fighting a small case of vertigo before jumping off the edge. She brought her arms over her head as she fell and once she got close enough to the sails, swiped both arms down to release a gust of wind. It was enough to give the ship an extra push to get away from the Loguetown port just as some Marines were trying to scramble their way on board. Hopefully Red Lightning didn't have a ship of himself close-by.

Eva landed on the deck easily, using her devil fruit abilities to cushion her fall. Looking around, she saw Hertha, Lucky and Black Hole Merrick, but no sign of Handel. Where the hell...? She was distracted when he heard the missing man's voice resound across the deck. He was giving out medical instructions, but what for? Upon closer inspection, Eva saw that Merrick had suffered some burns from Ricden's lightning attack. Seeing as Hertha's hands were too large and Lucky was pouting like a kid, Eva sighed and walked up to the group.

"Here, I got it." She grumbled as she roughly grabbed Merrick's now torn shirt, "Sit down." As she pushed the taller man onto his butt, she overlooked the burn and saw that it was covered in bright red splotches on the verge of blistering. She knelt down next to him and tore a piece of his shirt without even asking before pulling out a canister from her belt. Being a sniper meant staying in the same spot for long hours at a time so she had learned to be prepare water and small snacks to keep her energy up. She opened up her bottle and spilled a bit of water onto the torn shirt piece. She then placed the now damp cloth onto his chest, wiping over the more nasty looking wounds first.

"Since you obviously don't have a medic, do you at least have a first aid kid packed somewhere on the ship?" Eva asked as she finally looked up at him. That's when she realized just how close she was to his face and pulled back, a light blush dusting her cheeks. She looked back at his chest and continued her work while trying to avoid eye contact.

"Well?"
