I'm just some crazy reclusive girl. If you really want to know more about me, just ask. ^.~

I figured mic = microphone, but what is Vivian doing with one of those? XD
"That was not a false alarm," I said, sternly addressing one of my guards. "Two of Frank's brats were assaulting Vivian. Please keep them away from her in the future. In fact, feel free to treat Frank's entire family as suspicious. I want a full report on everything they do each day, delivering to me before bed."

I turned to Vivian. "Are you alright?" I asked, checking for any sign of damage aside from the mark on her cheek. "If they attack you again, feel free to scream for help; these guards have already allowed several incidents to occur ever since we arrived here, including the time they personally attacked me. I am sure they do not want to further tarnish their reputation by being lax with your security."
"Guards!" I yelled, hoping to draw the attention of some of the members of my security team.

The welt on Vivian's face told me everything I needed to know about this situation, and it was an extremely straightforward one. One of these two had assaulted my niece, and if my guards wouldn't escort them out of my home in return, then they weren't worth having.

"Give Vivian her mic back. Now," I said approaching the three girls. It seemed these delinquents were every bit as bad as their father. Even if they were older than me, I would not tolerate their childish behavior. I was a wealthy woman, and they all knew it. If my guards wouldn't help me be rid of them, I could find someone who would, and that sort of help would be a whole lot less pleasant about it.
The light was way too intense!

Eva couldn't move her arms enough to block it, but she turned her head away, eyes shut. Even so, she could see red through her eyelids. She should have just provoked the warden to kill her!

Ever since that monster had shown Eva the interrogation of another Gifted, she had kept her locked in this pitifully small cell. It was totally inhumane - she was going to have a breakdown if they held her like this for much longer! But she told herself should have expected no better. The DMA viewed the Gifted as slaves at best. And, now, she was all alone, her weak limbs held up by the metal surrounding her. Were they really going to make her sleep like this? There was no way she'd be able to...

She hated to think of herself as a damsel in distress, but if there was ever a time she needed someone to be her hero, it was right then.
O.O Monster!
Oh my. So mean. You're gonna make Eva cry again!
o.o Such cramped spaces!

Do the prisoners have to wear any further restraints in their cells, as they do in the pic?
I am enjoying it, though I don't always know what direction to take it in.

Also... what is Vivian's mic? XD
Once I had returned to my room, I locked the door; I was planning to stay inside for a while, until that dumb woman gave up on taking me shopping. That meant there was no need to change out of my pajamas.

Unfortunately, the only thing I really had to do in my room was read. I still had a few romance novels left, but I really didn't want to frustrate myself with them. Perhaps I could get a servant to go to the library and pick me up some random books...
*pouts* It sure is lonely in this cell.
